Came for a normal smog check and Tuan was awesome! Made this simple and quick, in and out in less than 20. I've been here on Saturdays and it's packed, but he's still able to get you in and out in just a few hours. read more

I will never come back here. I don't know who the new people they hired are but they are idiots. I've been coming here for years and this guy tells me there is some new regulation that prevents him from smog checking my car? Like someone said below I should've turned away when I heard this. This idiot then tells me he can't possibly smog checking my car. After using ChatGPT to research wtf he was talking about I quickly found this idiot was lying and just trying to get out of smog checking my car. He told me "come back during the weekend and I'm sure someone will do it" after wasting my time. What an idiot. This place sucks don't waste your time read more

Been going there for years I went there a couple days ago my car passed everything except the visual of the catalytic converter.....took it to the state ref and they passed me and said nothing was wrong with the Cat......maybe they need a little more experience on that shop since the guy there is new.....thanks read more

Don't waste your time or money coming here anymore. I always got my car smogged here and passed with no issue whatsoever. Went in last month and saw it was a different guy doing the smog tests. I told him I've been going there for years, first thing he said was, "well, they've been doing the tests wrong here for years" I should've left as soon as he said that, cause who would say that about a place we worked at? He continued to do the test and at the very end, he told me that MY ORIGINAL MANUFACTURE TOYOTA CATALYTIC CONVERTORS FROM 1997 WERE NOT ORIGINAL AND COULD NOT PASS BECAUSE THEY DIDNT HAVE A CA SERIAL NUMBER! Brother, they didn't have stupid numbers back then other than a batch number. I told him it was the original cat, and he said I was wrong. He then proceeded to call his manager I assume? Because clearly he wasn't knowledgeable enough, and told his manager that everything was fine and everything else passed really well for a 1997 vehicle but he couldn't find a number on the cat. I told him that I've literally taken it there every single time with nothing changed and no issues. I told him that I wanted the other guy to do it when he was there. He said, "he won't be able to because only I know how to do the older vehicles that require the dyno" Like wtf?? Then why are you asking someone who doesn't know how to do smog tests questions about how to do smog tests? He then said he couldn't pass it but he'd give me a discount at only charge me $80 and to go buy and install an aftermarket cat and go back to pass it and I'd only pay the $10 difference.... Brother what?? You want me to get rid of the original factory cat and install a stupid aftermarket one that fails every year?? I never went back, stole $80 from me. I ended up going to a different spot that told me he should've passed me because my car passed with flying colors and that this shop doesn't know what they were talking about. read more

Awesome customer service . You get 3 free retest here incase you don't pass. How awesome is that??

Needed to get my car smogged to renew my car registration so I looked for a place where reviews said it was FAST. The last time I got my car smogged, it took about 2 hours for the wait + the actual test. When I got there, he had 1 person in front of me. He took about 5 mins. When it was my turn, he was very nice, transparent, and quick with the diagnostic. My turn took about 7 mins in total. Will be coming back to him. read more

I got recommended to this smog shop by my mechanic. The gentleman doing the service is always busy with clients, which is a really good sign of trust amongst his clients. The shop is small, but well organized. It's a "Pass or Free Retest" shop. Pricing is fair. It's a lot a cheaper than others near the area. He's fast, and efficient with his time. I've been coming here for three years now. read more

I had such a pleasant experience getting my smog check today. I was greeted with a cold water. The owner was respectful and friendly and with such a positive attitude. He was proud of the fact that he has been able to keep his price the same for years. He shared that when he is sad he looks at his reviews to brighten up his days, which I thought was sweet. You can tell that he enjoys the connections he makes with his costumers and the way he is appreciated. The service was quick and painless. Amazing experience! Brought my 2000 Toyota 4Runner for a Smog Check and the service was beyond exceptional. I will be coming here for years to come. The owner talked to me if I was like family and gave me great advice for my vehicle. I sat down and waited for no less than 10 minutes. I received a cold water as well and the owner made me feel comfortable during the whole process. 10/10 service. read more

Best smog experience I have had in Los Angeles and in life. Amazing value and service.

5 stars isn't enough. Pulled up around 4:30 and was done by 4:40. Dan was SUPER nice and accommodating. He was very helpful, moreso than I would ever anticipate (he asked if I had AAA and reminded me to go to the office to get my tags ASAP - maybe I was a little late getting my smog check) I'll definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Amazing service, very fast. Will recommend again to come back, smog check was done very promptly. Price is unbeatable

Bought a Groupon for Dan's Smog Test and could not be happier. The test took a total of 10 minutes. It was super quick and the father/son were really nice and friendly. They have seats for you to sit in and being a young, blonde girl in a mechanic shop, I felt super comfortable. I brought my dog with me and they didn't have any problems with him being there. The only downside is they charge you for the smog check certification that they submit to the DMV for you. This makese me think this place isn't any cheaper than other places. But I still support this minority family business and will come here again. read more

Fast, easy, and inexpensive. Been bringing all my cars here for a while and I will continue to do so.

I came here because it was the only place open early, they open at 8am. I got my smog check done in like 10-15 minutes. I've recommended it to friends and family. On one occasion one of our cars didn't pass, but we just had to drive around and it passed. Tuan is the best! Super nice guy and helps any way possible. Even offered us some water. Also, if you need any car repair done, you can ask Sonny next door. He replaced my battery after my smog check. Overall, I'll be back! read more

Just got our smog check done here on our 2006 Honda Accord . The owner is attentive and kind , even handed us some cold water bottles on this hot summer day.
