Delicious food! We got the turkey club and ratatouille sandwich. Both were excellent. The bread is so yummy! The curbside pick up was very efficient and easy. We just pulled into a parking spot and followed the instructions listed on the sign. Can't wait to check out the outdoor eating area when it opens back up. read more

This was our first time dining at Easy Tiger and unfortunately, it will be our last. When we arrived, we were handed menus and told to choose a table for service. We waited for about 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. There were very few other customers there at the time, but there were 4-6 employees standing together in the corner of the bar. We finally got up to ask one of them to take our order. We received our food and drinks quickly after doing so, but then our waitress literally never returned to our table to check on us, offer another round of drinks, or close out the check, despite having empty glasses and even attempting to wave down our waitress when we were ready to leave. After waiting another 20-25 minutes for someone's attention, my husband again left the table to ask an employee to come check us out. When he did so, there was not a single employee visible on the floor of the restaurant. A different waitress finally passed our table and we were able to ask her for our bill. She gave us the total, which was not adjusted for Happy Hour prices. She asked the manager to come fix it, at which point we shared with him how long we'd been waiting for service. I wish I had seen the Google reviews before dining, as it appears this establishment believes they have an issue with dining and dashing, when in fact, they simply aren't paying any kind of attention to their customers. I'm disheartened to read reviews from several customers of color stating that they were asked to provide a credit card before being served. My husband and I were not asked to do so, and practically had to beg for someone to come close out our check for us. This was the most disappointing meal I've had in a long time. I live near this new location and have been highly anticipating the opening of the new Easy Tiger for months. I also love the 6th street Easy Tiger. I scheduled a lunch meeting here last week. The service wasn't good: 1) we had to flag the server down to take our order and 2) the food was dropped off and he never came back to check on us (I just wanted some mustard for my pretzel). This can be passed off as new restaurant/server jitters as long as the food is good. I ordered the lunch combo (sandwich, side, and drink) with the corned-beef sandwich, sauerkraut, and a tea. I love a good corned-beef sandwich, but this was seriously the worst corned-beef sandwich I've ever had. They really had no business serving this cut of beef - it was basically ligament and very thick. Thick is fine if the meat is tender, but since there was so much ligament, I couldn't even bite through the sandwich and had a very difficult time chewing. To add insult to injury, the sauerkraut tasted basically like fresh cabbage without much fermentation. I don't know if my companion liked his sandwich, but he only ate half of it. I bought 4-5 pastries to bring back to my family since the baking at the downtown location has always been spot-on. They were fine but nothing to write home about. Paying $25 for a "just fine" bag of pastries is a bit much, however, and I'd rather just go around the corner to Quack's. read more

I was lucky enough to try this place out on their opening day. I've been to a ton of new restaurants, and this was easily one of the smoothest openings I've seen. The beer selection is killer (with a few taps still to grow, it appears), the space is BEAUTIFUL and the biergarten is expertly laid-out with plenty of heaters for beer drinking even during the winter months (the two that we get here in TX)! We had a few beer; a snackboard; baguettes, coffee, and pastries to go. Everything was top-notch and indicative of a well-planned and prepped opening. The service was friendly, management was floating around to ensure everything went off without a hitch, and I walked away thoroughly impressed. I've been a huge fan of Easy Tiger since I moved to Austin and even got a mug club membership for my birthday several years ago. I'm very excited about this new outpost nearer my house. So excited, in fact, that I'm bringing a few people for a happy hour after work today. It is dangerous, in the best way possible to have a restaurant of this caliber between my work and my house. Fantastic everytime. The beer garden vibes here are perfection, not to mention you can bring your four-legged friends. French toast bites, the breakfast plates, the breakfast sandwich, the bratwurst, the pretzels, I could go on forever I've never had a bad meal here. The homemade sourdough bread is absolutely superb but really any bread they make you can't go wrong with. They also have wonderful cocktails and beer on draft. My favorite being the lavender lemonade with Tito's, a wonderful drink pretty much any time of the year here in Texas. I got a to-go instead because even on a Friday midday, they are busy! Got a latte and pain au chocolate from them. The pain au chocolate was cold, so I took it home to heat it up, however, I accidentally burned it (cries). But even burnt, it was actually good! It was flaky on the outside (the non burnt parts) and buttery on the inside with a good honeycomb. Basically, a very well done croissant. It about 4$ for one, so it might be pricey for those who are not into breakfast food, but it's honestly the same price all around Austin! Their coffee was a little bitter, but it's not bad. The pretzel was average and the beer cheese is what made it extra disappointing. It was not the warm and gooey cheese, it was cold and more like a drier dip. Easy Tiger is also wayyy OVERPRICED. Their beer is a lot more than Pinthouse who makes their own beer. The price for a pretzel and cheese at Easy Tiger is $9.50 while Pinthouse charges only $4.50 for a pretzel with TWO sauces (including cheese) and it's tastier. Tonight was my second time to have dinner at the Linc location. And I'm sad to say that I was underwhelmed both times. We've had bad service on both occasions - our servers have been nice enough on both visits but just not attentive. They seemed to have too many tables or something... I noticed that the pastrami on our sandwich both times was a lot less than we were used to at the 6th Street location. Typically my husband and I share a pastrami sandwich (after enjoying a pretzel with beer cheese) and it's plenty of food. And tonight, when we went with our kids, they were out of pretzels. We ordered extra pastrami on our sandwich (based on our previous experience) but had to wait bc they brought out a regular one instead. This location has a lot more space and lots of great outdoor seating. But we've either been unlucky or they are still working out staffing issues. Easy Tiger at the Linc is my go to place for a real made from scratch bengal spice cookie! They created a beer garden patio is really fun and just a good overall place to hangout. It's indoors and outdoors. The sausage and pretzels are what this place is known for. Come here for lunch as they have lunch specials! The "Easy boards" that include cheese, sausage, kraut and bread are unique to share with your friends! This place is fun for out of town guests. The events are listed on Facebook and this place is pet friendly! (Nikita approved of the patio misters!) Also if you are looking for an event space check out the upstairs! I agree with a lot of other reviews on here, Easy Tiger just doesn't do a great job at adapting their brand to different locations. I'm a huge fan of the downtown location, but the Fareground opening was a bust and this location is nice, but nowhere near the same. That being said, please just adjust your prices accordingly! The downtown location is wonderful, so everyone is happy to pay $$$ to hang there. But this location is much different, so it just feels a bit too pricey for the area and proximity to highway. This place is dope. I was visiting Austin and really randomly came upon this place while next door at FedEx. The location is not what I would expect - but again I don't live in the area so I'm not sure if it's a prime location or not but it seemed a little bit out of the way. ANYWAYS - The environment is super comfortable and cute. This place is a bakery, coffee shop, and beer garden! I absolutely love all 3 of those things! There is a large area outside for dining and inside there are smaller tables for smaller groups. The beer selection is nice, they had a bunch of stuff on tap and a long list on their menu. I came in the morning so I wasn't able to try anything but I did have their coffee. If i ever go back to Austin, I definitely want to make sure I swing by this spot again. Loved this location. We came on a Friday morning, there was open seating and it took a bit for someone to come by our table but after that service was great. The modern space is really nice and there is a decent outdoor seating area with ping pong tables, some games and an outdoor bar. The inside bar is a good size and there is a separate counter for all of the yummy pastries. We ended up hanging out for over two hours and ordered a bit from the menu. All of the food was delicious, portions weren't huge, but enough (although my husband got the pastrami sandwich which was pretty big). Gosh, this place is marvelous. The happy hour is especially excellent in quality and value for food and drink. Lunch special menu is also a great deal and delicious. Marvelous food -- everything I've had is incredible, but I particularly love the kielbasa sausage and the almond croissant (not eaten together, lol). The wine selection is so-so, but they have excellent beer and cider. I very much like their payment process in that when you're ready to close your tab, you can do it with your waiter at the table on their tablet device. The future! It's quite nice. I'll only add that because it's open seating/seat yourself, it does take an age for a waiter to recognize that you're there and need a menu/need to make an order. Disappointed in how assuming the staff is as a new customer approaching their establishment. the very vague covid directions on how to place a to-go order and 20min suggested wait time didn't seem to make much sense as the only person standing there either. Not one of the staff offered assistance or was willing to stop for 30 seconds to make sure I was clear on how to proceed. Not even a " let us know if you have questions on the menu" was available. My suggestion is to take a minute and ask your customers if they are good to go- might be the difference between the acquisition and loyalty of a new customer. Been twice. Not a bad spot, but service could be a lot better. First visit was opening day. I had the pastrami sandwich. Tasty, but it was a very small portion of pastrami compared to when I've had it downtown. Everything else was fine, but a little too expensive for what you're getting. On our second visit, we sat down in a nearly empty dining room. No one came to our table, so after 10 minutes we moved to the bar. I ordered a beer. My companion ordered an espresso drink that the bartender said he could make. 2 minutes later he comes back. Oops, he can't make it after all because they don't have coconut cream. So now she has to scramble to figure out a new drink. Also, we weren't given napkins or utensils when our food came. We had to ask the bartender who seemed confused by our request. We ordered the snack board. Pretty good! The jerky was very flavorful and not too tough. The chips could use some salt, but I'd definitely order this again. Overall this incarnation of Easy Tiger is just ok. With better service and lower prices it would be great, but right now it's just ok. read more

Twice now we've come just after 7pm which is hours before they close, and they've been out of half the menu. It seems they run out of bread (kind of their thing) pretty early into dinner service. And if they're out of the bread that the sandwich you want normally is served in, they won't allow substitutions for a different bread. Great for brunch, skip for dinner.
