Almost a year since my last review and this place still continues to be a go-to spot in the ever-evolving Linc complex. In recent months they've revamped their menu (especially the adult bevs), improved the offering process and added indoor / outdoor TVS which were a nice touch during the World Cup. The staff and food are still solid. Overall the vibes are still great here. The only thing I wish they'd change is the availability for upstairs. Seems like it's always closed.

I liked the chicken salad sandwich a lot. I was not a fan of the bread. The waiter forgot about my water. They let us order from them instead of the QR code.

We must have caught this place at an off time! We were looking for a place close to our hotel and the reviews were not bad. We arrived and they have a great patio, had live music and there were quite a few people there. We elected to go inside since we had been out all day and we ordered beers, some deserts, and I ordered an 'Ol Fashioned. Oddly enough, great chocolate and a fantastic 'Ol Fashioned go well together. However, the brownie was really dry - seemed to a a few days old, and the drink was just OK. They indicated it would be made with a mix so that probably my bad. My friend had a couple of beers and another dessert but his feedback was the same. I would have liked to stay longer and come back on another night to see if my first visit was an anomaly. I would think they normally have better drinks and food than we had on our first visit!

Easy Tiger is a German beer hall ft locally roasted coffee shop. The first thing you notice is their large signboards and huge parking lot. The ambiance does look upscale, so are their prices. They have a great outdoor space and beautifully decorate indoor space. They're trying a lot of things - coffee shop with a bakery, dining restaurant, beer hall with craft beers. It does definitely get filled up in the mornings. My order: Bavarian latte Sour cream Kolaches Everything bagel with scallion cream cheese Bavarian latte though seasonal was nice and flavorful. Kolaches which was a savory and the everything bagel was something I loved with the cream cheese. Must-try! The order came around $20.

Little fun items to buy. No price tags.

Cooper is a wonderful bartender! He Suggests all drink specials and food items. I was excited to see the interesting new menu items but I miss the original ones a lot. Like the beer cheese and original mustard. Bacon. The basics. I guess I'll get my pretzel to go next time. The cheese is now a beer queso. No bueno. I think the sausages might be different too. I'd give the wings a try next time! They looked great. Lots of change with the new owners. New employees. They still have a great patio.

Easy Tiger delivered a fantastic dining experience! The chicken and dumpling soup was absolutely delicious--rich, robust flavors that packed a wonderful punch in every bite. Despite the restaurant being busy and serving a large number of guests, the service was phenomenal. The staff remained attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout our visit. The atmosphere was equally impressive, with great vibes and a welcoming ambiance that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. I'll definitely be back for another bowl of that amazing soup!

Delicious. Honestly, I don't think you can do wrong with anything here. Loaves, pretzels, bagels, rolls, they will all have you in heaven. On this occasion I went for the everything bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, dill... I'm drooling over the memory. The bagel was chewy and buttery, the salmon was perfect, and the capers and dill added that little extra everything. The restaurant offers lots of seating both indoor and outdoor and staff is friendly.

Food was good but I got the wrong order (wings) and it still remained on my tab even though I didn't want them!!! I was under the impression we could keep the wings (since it was not what we ordered, and because the server said she'd take it off our check) so I told my friends to dig in, but when I saw the check was 43.30 we could tell my assumption was wrong. If the server had told us we couldn't eat them we would not have!!! Also, I did not appreciate the note I got on my original order of cheese curds. What is "NO MAKE!" supposed to mean?? Tl;dr food was good, service not so much, even though I recognize we were there thirty minutes before closing.

The service each time I've dined here has been solid. The breakfasts have been filling and the breads soft. Most recently I've been there for lunch and enjoying their sandwiches; my favorite is the turkey. The turkey is real meat (no deli pressed stuff here!), with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and fresh sourdough. The sandwich is large and doesn't come with a side, which works great for me, but it's worth noting if you expect something with your sandwich order. I like coming here for Too Good to Go pick ups too. They rescue bakery items at the end of the day thru the Too Good to Go program, which has given me a great opportunity to try many of the breads and bakery items.

    Fish and chips

We have been to this Easy Tiger on many occasions. Today we went after a game of pickleball for a late lunch. I ordered the fish and chips with a NA lager and my wife had the burger with a spritzer. The fish was good, but the chips were just regular French fries. No malt vinegar. My wife enjoyed her burger, but again the fries were not anything special considering she had to order them as an extra side. The service was fairly prompt, but the drinks took longer than expected considering the place was not busy. I like the clean wood decor and outdoor space, but there are way too many picnic tables. Some of us need chairs.

    Prosciutto baguette with fries
    Briana N.

So much seating and so much parking, which is already a big plus for me! We came for dinner, so we were all there to for a full meal rather than their bakery/cafe. And it was more expensive than I thought it would be! Especially how adding fries to your entree was an extra $4. Our server was so friendly and the food didn't take too long to come out. I got the prosciutto baguette and while it was good, it didn't necessarily stand out for me. I think this is a great spot for if you're just hanging out with friends, so might as well order some food. Or if you just want to get something to eat on a normal day. But it's not something I would necessarily go out of my way for. The bread is pretty good though! Especially if you're someone who likes bread that has a good chew to it. I feel like Easy Tiger is definitely better known for their pastries and cafe drinks, so that's probably the move. Also one of my friends asked for the mustard in their burger to be subbed with mayo instead. And that didn't happen :/// sooo idk what happened there.

Expected more from this place :( I usually buy their bread at HEB and was looking forward to go to their location which is nice looking but they had no lattes because their machine was broken the staff is neither friendly or rude just existing like avatars, place overall is meh... ended ordering a cold brew and it was horrible my stomach hurted after drinking it. No flavor no taste like their staff just meh. One star because the decor is nice and also the bread but that you can get at HEB.

I should have gotten regular home fries, because the hashbrown casserole was cheesy and I wanted something to soak up the hollandaise and egg. Their burger is easily one of the best I've had in Austin, especially paired with their thin, crispy fries. It's my go-to order almost every time. One thing I love is that they switch up the steak portion of the menu a few times a year, and it never disappoints. Right now they have the steak au poivre, which is incredible, although I'm still craving their steak frites and hoping it makes a comeback. The escargot and French onion soup are also favorites of mine. At this point, June's has become a staple in our house--usually with a couple of Diet Cokes and either the burger or whatever steak they're featuring. A few of my friends swear by the chicken sandwich (fair warning: it can get a little messy!), the half roasted chicken, and the tuna crudo, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you order. On top of the amazing food, the staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, which keeps us coming back. I definitely recommend making a reservation since it tends to get pretty busy, especially during peak hours.

My biggest issue started before I even got seated. There is a QR code that you're required to use to join the waitlist/queue, but this is not clearly communicated on their website. You essentially have to arrive at the restaurant and figure it out once you're there. For a restaurant that is known for having long waits and high traffic, I feel like this information should be clearly stated online so people can plan accordingly. Once I joined the queue, I was number 43 and ended up waiting about an hour and a half before being seated. I understand that popular restaurants can have long wait times, but the lack of transparency about how the process works made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be. Once inside, the ambiance was actually quite quaint and charming. That said, considering how much traffic this restaurant gets, I was surprised by how limited the space is. I honestly think expanding the property would make a huge difference, although I understand that may not be entirely within their control. One thing I will give them major credit for is the menu. Online, the selection makes it look somewhat limited, but once you're there, they actually have 50+ food options, so there is plenty to choose from. That was definitely a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, my entrée was disappointing. I ordered a shredded beef taco with salsa and substituted a side salad. The beef was extremely tender, but unfortunately, it was also very dry. The salad was another disappointment because the vinaigrette was honestly not good. I don't think I've ever had a vinaigrette that I actively disliked until this meal. Thankfully, my fiancé had a much better experience. He ordered an enchilada and said it was one of the top five enchiladas he's ever had, so clearly there are some standout dishes on the menu. That definitely made me curious about trying something different if I ever return. I also really enjoyed that they offer hibiscus tea. I was very happy to see it on the menu, although I personally think it would be better served on its own rather than incorporated into one of their mixed drinks. The drink itself was just okay, but the hibiscus flavor was great. Overall, I can see why this place has become an Austin staple, but I think the experience could be improved significantly by making the waitlist process much clearer online and by improving the consistency of some of the food. The menu has a lot of potential, and clearly, some dishes are excellent! Unfortunately, mine just wasn't one of them.

I opted just got an Arnold Palmer but the drink menu had some cute cocktails and mocktails, as well as a nice selection of beer and wine. Instead of bread, our server brought us a basket of seasoned popcorn. The popcorn had almost like a Cajun flair, but it wasn't spicy. It reminded me of the Ground Round chain from when I was a little girl. We decided to try the corndog shrimp appetizer. I couldn't decide on an entree because everything looked so good, so I did the Parmesan chicken and my coworker did the steak salad. The shrimp arrived so quickly with four large pieces of shrimp on a stick wrapped in corn dog batter and fried to a golden brown, with a blueberry mustard dipping sauce. The shrimp were delicious and while I didn't get much of the blueberry in the mustard, I enjoyed the sweetness it provided. My Parmesan chicken was a crispy and juicy breaded chicken cutlet with a lemon cream, artichoke hearts, and what appeared to be prosciutto on top. It was served with a side of pesto couscous with grape tomatoes and cucumbers. I wish I had ordered mashed potatoes on the side, because I wanted something to soak up the lemon cream sauce, which was the highlight of the chicken. We also were served 3 mini cornbread muffins with honey butter. My coworker said the salad was just okay, and was a little on the small side. The desserts were definitely a MUST and if you visit Moonshine and don't save room for the Espresso Brownie or the Peanut Butter Pie, you're going to regret it. The brownie was so fudgey and warm and served with ice cream. It was decadent. The peanut butter pie was the biggest slab of PB pie I've ever had with a thick Oreo crust. I wish I had someone with me to share it, it was huge. Overall, if I lived in the area I would definitely be back to try other things.
