    Rose water lemon drop martini
    Niya B.

I woke up thinking about this drink and I had to write a review. I had their rose water lemon drop martini and it was absolute perfection! I work at a resort in Scottsdale and we desperately need this on the menu! Not only was it gorgeous, but it tasted incredible. Everyone loves a classic lemon drop, but the rose water brings so much elevation and sophistication to the glass. It's perfectly floral without tasting like perfume or a cleaning product. An absolute 10/10! Also, the service was great and the food was yummy. I will be back soon! If they had a happy hour I would be back tomorrow.

East Bite is a great addition to the Roosevelt Row area. Stopped in for dinner one night. Our server was friendly and very helpful. The interior seemed clean and had multiple TVs. The portion sizes are large. You could definitely share. But the food is well seasoned and delicious. A nice healthy option in the area.

I didn't realize this place popped up here so I'm sad I didn't stop by sooner. The food is really really good and the service is so friendly and amazing. The server let us know that the chef is Syrian and the kabob are traditional Syrian style kababs. The Greek salad was delicious and a nice refreshing start to the meal. I went with the beef kabab platter and it was great. The kababs were flavorful and moist and all the hummus and rice and pita were top tier. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. The cocktails were also right on point.

My neighborhood needs more little, ethnic eateries to complete the downtown feel and it's happening fast! East bite is a nice new middle eastern spot with some solid, authentic kabobs! It's been consistently good and the service is fast, friendly and on point. Local, delicious and I'm going to become a regular!

    Baba ganouj!

Wow. The place looks amazing after taking over the local pho place. Super clean, inviting and great for large groups. The baba ganouj, dear science, is the best I've ever had in Phoenix. Perfectly smoky, light and umptious! The dolmas!, omgee, divine in all of their glory. The mini pitas with the baba were perfectly done. I can't wait to try my to go items, chicken kebab and some beef shawarma. I may not cook again, after eating here. Meal prep, nah. I'll just get to go from here and split it up during the week. Service is just right, not pushy and not non-existent. Make this place so popular we can't get in. I'm not about gate keeping. This pace needs to blow up. Cheers East Bite, you did it right!

East Bite in Downtown Phoenix is an absolute gem and the perfect spot to wind up an evening after a show at the Phoenix Theatre Company or a visit to the nearby museums. We stopped in for dinner and sampled the ganoush, kebabs, gyro, and rose water lemonade. The food was incredible--the meats were unbelievably tender, flavorful, and remarkably fresh and light. The refreshing rose water lemonade complemented the rich, delicious meal perfectly. Beyond the food, the warm, family-style service made the entire experience feel welcoming and complete. I truly could not ask for more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional food and a great atmosphere in downtown Phoenix!

Service was lovely but the food was fantastic!!!! Perfect place to come before or after a show at the theater complex. I got the Mediterranean bowl and it was huge and very flavorful.

Four countries are represented in this unique experience. Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. The lentil soup was creamy and brought back memories of my grandmother's cooking. The staff was helpful and attentive. I can't wait to go back and try the kibbe.

Ate very little.... I ordered the lamb kabob....it was ok but pretty bland, looked like processed little meat balls. . Service was good and friendly, no owner on site. In past visits I loved their Asobuco but none was on the menu. That's what I wanted to order. There was free baklava ....wasn't looking for free....went up to the counter to order some. Then was given two out of a bunch of stacked containers behind the register. If I hadn't inquired wouldn't have known. In past visits they always walked around with a tray and offered. This was dry as well..... I do appreciate free but not dry. I was willing to pay. I probably caught them on an off night, business was good which is always a good sign. I'll give them another shot but won't order the Chicken Chips.

Every detail you notice is extravagant and purposeful. Visiting on a Saturday for lunch, there were plenty of other families eating together too. I noticed the crowd was mostly older, which lets you know this restaurant is a true staple in the community (I find that usually the old people know what's up). As all 4 of us weren't super hungry, we split the Persian Room Special- Combination of barg (Filet mignon), chicken filet and Koobideh kebab, served with basmati rice and grilled tomato. It was a huge portion of food, served on a large silver platter. The menu states that it serves 2, but it perfectly filled us 4 adults! Granted, we weren't super hungry to begin with, but 2 is definitely an underestimate. I'd say it can easily satisfy 3 hungry adults. Anyway, quantity aside, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Everything was so flavorful and paired well together. The meat was also juicy. My favorite was the koobideh kebab for sure. There isn't much more I can say, as the food speaks for itself. The Persian Room is definitely something you need to try for yourself. Weeks later, I'm still craving it and will definitely be back!

My rack of lamb was ok, cooked to rare just how I wanted it, but it too, had a lot of sinew for little meat lollipops. My rice was also room temp, which could be fine, but seemed a bit odd to me. Thankfully this was a business meal, but we would have been both extremely disappointed had it come from our own pockets. Given all the five star reviews, I want to think this was a really off night. Wouldn't be my first choice next time, but I could go back and give it another shot.

I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. I'll try not to wait so long before my next visit.
