Just across the street from Uwajimaya in the International District is E-Jae Pak Mor. They serve some amazing Thai food I haven't seen as much in Seattle recently. We ordered Thai iced tea and the noodle dish Number 1, Khao Soi Chiang Mai with chicken. Everything was so flavorful and felt comforting. The Thai iced tea was the perfect sweetness, and the Khao Soi Chiang Mai was the perfect mix of savory and spicy. I love the combination of wet and dry noodles mixed with the curry. The lady who took our order was so nice and friendly. She made us feel welcome and is one of the reasons why we will be coming back--a casual place to grab a bite to eat or to do a takeout order. If you ask me, this is not a typical Thai food restaurant. Street food? Seems like the rice wrap is the most popular dishes that lots of people ordered here. The curry noodles dish is excellent. The place is small, so you have to be there early or wait if you have larger party. Self serve including cleaning the table. It is all good. If cholesterol is not a concern, order the fried chicken skin. Super good. Very guilty. Price is fair in the area. Definitely a place to come back for more. read more

Saw lots of videos for this place and finally had a chance to try it. You ordered at the counter and seat yourself. I recommend going early when they first open as it gets pack during lunch time. I ordered Su Kho Thai Noodle Soup and Pak Mor Youn/dumplings. The dumplings were bigger than I expected and packed with ingredients. The staff was super friendly where she explained how to eat it with the sauces and wrap with lettuce. I really enjoyed the noodle soup I ordered as it had amazing flavor. The food here is amazing. From the outside, it doesn't look like it might much but once you step in, you feel and know it's some authentic great food since you can see the staff working on the food. The smell of the food is terrific along with the great service. You order at the counter and get seated afterwards. The food comes out at a decent pace and it's just 5 stars for flavor! read more

Finally trying this place and unfortunately it's a bit of a let down. I had high expectations giving the high reviews and their claim of serving authentic Thai street food. We ordered phad Thai, pad see ew, hainan chicken combo, yen ta fo and Thai tea. I like the yen ta fo broth with their in house noodles and seafood but the tofu tasted weird, maybe spoiled already. The other dishes were just ok not worth coming back again. The thai tea was too milky, not enough tea. I would say the price is on the higher end, considering the portion size for some of the dishes. read more

Love love love the owner. She is sooo sweet and amazing. She recommended P1: Pak Mor Yuan as it is her signature dish and we got it. Super delicious and d flavorful with 2 sauces, both excellent. The Longan Tea is delightful. Live the beautiful flower addition. The special: Khao Tom, N2: Spicy Thai Beef Noodle Soup and N6: Guay Tiew Gaeng were all incredibly delicious. I had dinner here on a Friday, the workers were very kind and welcoming. Seating was a bit tight but as we waited to order it cleared up. We ordered N6 and R1. Both were tasty and would order again but I wouldn't say either dish was life changing. We also got the lilikoi iced tea and I did not like this drink at all. It tasted like cough syrup and wasn't cheap either so definitely would not order again. Overall a cute space with good food if you're in the area. read more

I've only tried the pak mor with ground chicken after hearing much hype. It was great to know about the context and labor that goes into making this dish beforehand, but the result was pretty standard tasting to me. The mix of meat and herbs inside was flavorful, but did not pack a particular punch. The green sauce with a wonderful mix of cilantro, mint, and lime was critical, but even then I feel like I've had pretty similar textures and flavor profiles from high-quality Thai restaurants I've visited around the states. I feel like the pak mor is maybe what has brought in the media hype, but the standouts might be the other dishes. I'll be back again to try other dishes! read more

First, a warning if you go there in winter - wear a jacket and keep it on! It's as cold inside as outside. We ordered the P1: Pak Mor Yuan, which was delicious. I thought it could be picked up and eaten by hand, but that turned out to be very messy. We also got P4: Rab Rae Jae. This was one large packet, unable to be picked up. If you like authentic Thai food made from a Thai chef (and not the Americanized Thai food at most places), this is the spot. Pum is a phenomenal chef from Bangkok that knows how to bring out the essence of Thai food (sweet, salty, savory, sour) in a balanced and comforting way. I spend a lot of time living in Thailand and the hand made rice paper dumplings (Pak Mor Yuan) and noodles (we tried Guay Tiew Lohd) are absolutely phenomenal. Thin, fresh, and complemented by really flavorful and punchy sauces and broths. The rice paper wrapping and noodles are actually better than all the ones I've had traveling for food in Thailand. Still 5 stars. It's been a repeat on our list and also a favorite to everyone we've shown this place to. They don't have the pink milk anymore, but the longan tea and lilikoi ice tea are great options too. My go to now is the guay tiew lohd (N8). So good, would recommend to at least try! I love Thai food so my friend and I decided to visit E-Jae Pak Mor's newest location in International District after seeing some TikTok foodies' videos lol. They're located next to Oasis and across Uwajimaya building. Parking is going to be difficult to find so I recommend trying the Uwajimaya lot and buying something $20 to have 1-2 hours of parking validated. Highly recommend the Khao Soi Chiang Mai! It is both soft and crispy egg noodles in yellow curry sauce. The yellow curry was similar to Vietnamese coconut yellow curry. Curry sauce and chicken were both flavorful and generously portioned so it's great for sharing. Guay Tiew Lohd was also good. It tasted similar to Vietnamese banh cuon (wide rolled rice noodles) and thit kho (caramelized pork). There was also this green sauce that tasted similar to fish sauce but a little bit more sweet and sour. Overall, great ambiance, food presentation for Thai dishes and friendly customer service. I came here last year with friends and ordered their Chiang Mai Khao Soi Tofu noodle curry and this time I tried their Pak Mor Entrée Rab Rae Jae and it was full of flavor and deliciousness with egg and veggie egg roll with a flavorful spicy dipping sauce which has that heat kick but not too overpowering even though I love spicy food and can handle 3 or 4 chilies Overall, dish was perfect to my liking and I love the way they made the thai iced tea concoction. Service was wonderful and the staff spoke Thai with me as I thank them for bringing the food with their hospitality. Inside barely any tables to sit at which is probably why lunch time is their busy hour but go seating at the bar with a window view better than nothing. Next time I will come here earlier before 12pm to find a table seating. Love this place across from Uwajimaya. Will definitely come back soon read more

A truly unique Thai spot that serves many items that you cannot find at most Thai restaurants in the Greater Seattle area. I tried the pak mor yuan and the guay teow lohd. Both items were very spot on and unique. I love rice rolls and the ground pork in the park mor yuan went very well with everything including the sauces. As for the guay teow lohd the marinated pork belly was so spot on. In addition to how good the food was, the service was casual as you go up to the kiosk to order than go sit down and wait for food to be brought out. The interior also had cute decorations and vibes! sorry, E-Jae Pak Mor.. I wasn't honest/bold enough to tell you your signature was just okay and instead hesitantly said it was good.. I mean, the dish was perfectly executed but lacked flavor.. the Pak Mor dish I had was supposed to have a combination of crab, chicken, and pork.. the crab ended up being imitation krab aka pollock, and they were like you're supposed to pour the sauce over the whole dish, which I did.. it was tangy and sweet.. was okay also had the fish balls and was excited about that.. but left a lot to be desired as although it was fresh and even fried as well, that it too had no real excitement nor punch of flavor when I was bussing my own tray, the lady there was like why didn't you eat your lettuce? (uneasy moment).. then I told her I just didn't.. and then I heard her asking the table behind me why they are not eating their bean sprouts.. (to myself): yes, you should eat everything on your plate perhaps, I have to try their rice or curry noodle dishes to see how well they do.. but figured this Pak Mor dish is their signature and a thing I haven't had, and it ended up being just okay but that was my taste.. What an adorable little spot! I saw this place had 4.9 stars in Google and just had to try it out. I came in around noon and there was only one other party eating. I was instantly greeted by the staff and they were so helpful in helping me order as it was my first time seeing a lot of these dishes. They specialize in Thai street food and sadly I was dining alone so only had the stomach space to try the Pak mor rice rolls with ground beef and mushrooms. They came with two delicious dipping sauces and lettuce to wrap. I also ordered the lilikoi iced tea which was nice and refreshing, definitely tasted fresh af. WOW! Truly just WOW! My partner wanted to check this place out on a date-night whim and I think we found our new favorite Thai place in Seattle The interior is fun and bright without being completely overstimulating, especially nice at night! Seating is limited but was not overly crowded during a Saturday evening, so easy to dine-in with a small group of 2 or 4. Service is also excellent! My partner left behind his phone on accident and one of the waiters got it back to us when we were back from the bathroom Now with all of this praise for the setting and the people, the food deserves it just as much! My dish (Su Kho Thai noodle soup) was seasoned excellently, not too sour but not weak either. My partner's curry was equally delicious even if unexpected with the presentation. We also shared the pork belly between us and if you're reading this, I HIGHLY recommend that you order it! The texture was beyond any that I've had before, crunchy and almost "fluffy" with a sauce on the side that was so delicious. This is a very small space right across the street from the busy Uwajimaya food court. Street parking is hard to find, so push your luck or take public transit (the Link station is also across the street!). The food here, though, was amazing! I've been searching for good khao mun gai/Hainanese chicken in the PNW for a while. The best spot I could find was in Vancouver, BC three hours away. I'm happy to report that E-Jae Pak Mor's Khao Mun Gai absolutely hit the spot where it counts: chicken, rice, and sauce. The chicken was tender, rice was fluffy and flavorful from chicken broth, and the sauce worked perfectly with everything. I would come back again and again just for this dish. But there's more! I was also able to try their Pak Mor Yuan and Guay Tiew Lohd. The Pak Mor Yuan is similar to a dumpling, with a rice noodle wrapper and ground chicken inside. This was very flavorful and I barely needed the dipping sauces, but the sauces were great too. Guay Tiew Lohd is marinated pork on top of their homemade rice noodles. At first I wasn't too impressed with this dish, but after I added the sauce to it, everything worked. Su Kho Thai noodle soup - Served piping hot, and absolutely delicious. Tastes somewhat similar to tom yum, but a bit more mellow. So many toppings! BBQ pork, fish cakes, pork sausage, green beans, bean sprouts, cilantro, green onions... and the broth was perfectly seasoned. Also includes rice noodles - which I could have done with a little less of. Kao mun gai - Similar to Hainanese chicken rice, but with a different (delicious) dipping sauce. Rice was cooked with chicken stock and herbs, and it came with a comforting bowl of broth on the side. My boyfriend loved it. Pak mor youn - A really tasty rice noodle-wrapped dumpling filled with ground meat and herbs, and served with a tangy lime sauce and a sweet fish sauce. The rice noodle was so tender and soft to bit into, and I poured the sauces directly into the dumpling. So good! I noticed they had a condiment bar with chili flakes, jalapenos and a spicy-looking sauce. By the time the food was ready, I had forgotten about it. I think the noodle soup and pak mor would really have benefited from added spicyness, but they were still very good without! Notes - - Food does not seem to be spicy by default.
