Cool little spot for Thai. The pad se ew had great chewy thick noodles, savory, sweet, smoky, with tender greens and chicken. The wings were well seasoned and perfectly salted and crispy. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasty.
Never had a pak mor youn but I'll def be back for a bit. For the cultured individuals it's a more refreshing version of banh cuon (if you never had it you missing out)! And the dry tom yum could be customized for my mild ass. Cute and pretty fatty portions. Bulk approved
Came here for a quick dinner and left completely stuffed. Just a heads-up on how the setup works since it's super casual: there isn't traditional table service. You order at the counter when you walk in, grab a seat, and they'll bring the food out to you. Everything else is totally self-serve--you grab your own water, utensils, and condiments. When you're finished, you bus your own table and drop your dishes at the return station. I ordered the pumpkin panang curry with fried chicken, and the portion size was massive! The curry was super rich, heavy, and packed a ton of flavor. The fried chicken held up really well with the sauce, too. The taste was definitely there, and you get a lot of food for what you pay. I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving a solid, hearty curry.
We came to E-Jae Pak Mor for lunch on Monday at 11:40am. We had heard good things about this place and finally had some time when we were in the I.D. to try it. We scanned the electronic menu at the front, ordered, then got water at the self-serve station. We beat the lunch crowd so we had plenty of tables to choose from. The bright and cheery decor had nice ambiance and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My hubs ordered the Khao Soi Chiang Mai, one of his favorite dishes to order at a Thai restaurant. It was huge and came in a big, wide bowl. He enjoyed the flavor of the yellow curry and building heat of this dish. Make sure to get a steak knife at the front counter so you can cut the meat from the chicken drumstick (if you're not biting into it). Also, if you are a spice lightweight like me, this is not your dish. But if you enjoy spice and curries, you will enjoy this dish. I got the E-Jae House Noodle with chicken and no egg. Wow, their handmade rice noodles were amazing! So soft, tender, and kinda ropey. I loved the texture and taste of this dish. The sauce was light and complimented the noodles, chicken, green onions, and cilantro. It's so great to eat a restaurant dish that isn't too salty or saucy! It comes with a side of chili sauce which I didn't use, but if you like spice, I am sure it was good. We ended our meal by sharing a small order of the Mango Sticky Rice. It was delightful. The mango was perfectly ripe, the sticky rice was delicious, and it was topped with little crispies which we found out later was fried mung beans. A great ending to a great meal. We will definitely be back!
We got here just before lunch time around 11:40am and the line was short and there were plenty of empty tables. By 12:20pm it was packed. We got the chicken E-Jae House Noodles, with their homemade wide rice noodles and the Khao Soi Chiang Mai with chicken. Their homemade wide rice noodles were incredible. Soft and delicate and not overly sauced. I'm going to judge all future rice noodles against these. Will definitely be back for more of these fresh noodles! First off their take on Khao Soi is huge. It was enough noodles and sauce for two meals for me. It came with one chicken leg (enough for one meal). Make sure to grab a knife from the front counter to get the chicken off the bone. Their flavor profiles are different from other Thai places I've tried. I enjoyed it. We also got the small mango and sticky rice. The mango was perfectly ripe. The small was enough for two people after all those noodles. It has tall windows so the place is well lit and I enjoyed the colorful decor. You get a number when you order and they bring your food to the table.
Really good Thai street food near the lightrail station in CID. Good amount of seating inside but not ideal for large groups. You order at the front and they bring out your food. I love a good rice noodle and they do it so well. It very thin and soaks up the sauce very well. I got the guay tiew lohd tom yum and it was so flavorful. Protein is marinated pork and fried shrimp as topping. You can taste the fish sauce, and tanginess from tom yum. Good textures with pork, pork roll, bean sprouts, and peanuts. Overall good food. Would come back to try their other dishes!
The Pak mor yuan was so good!! We ordered the 6-piece portion and a khaosoi. The pak mor yuan wrapping was super tender and soft and melts in your mouth. The savory fillings also blended super well with the wrapping and were absolutely delicious. Khao Soi was good too but I wasn't impressed- the noodles were not cooked too well and kinda stuck together, but it wasn't major. However seating was a bit confusing as you had to find an empty table and the server would bring you the food. When it was busy the line and wait got messy and it's possible to get your food without having a table so I don't recommend coming here when it's super busy There were around 8 tables and some bar seatings. You can see staff making the food over the counter and the ventilation was done well even with all the stir fry and cooking.
The food was very good and portion sizes were good as well. The seating can be a little limited as the place is smaller. We weren't asked to provide a spice level first and only was prompted to add spice when we asked if we can adjust spice. Other people who ordered after weren't asked for a spice level either so I'm a little confused if they expect to give 0 spice for everything normally.
Thoughts are purely on the mango sticky rice, not any of the main dishes. We came here craving mangoes and mango sticky rice, so went for the large. Was surprised at how small it felt on first impression but overall, felt it was just okay maybe underwhelming. Mango Sticky Rice (Large) - rice didn't taste fresh, maybe a bit old. While still chewy, the rice was a bit firmer and not as soft as expected. It's the start of summer so mango season is upon us, but they weren't too flavorful. Slightly on the tarter side while having hints of sweetness. Could have been an unlucky mango.
We absolutely loved it here! The fresh made noodles made every dish so delicious! You really can't find this everywhere. Service was friendly and didn't take too long even though they were making the noodles fresh. We really enjoyed the pad see ew and also the pak mor youn. The real surprise was the fried chicken that I chose as the protein for the pad see ew, it was SO good and crunchy. The restaurant is clean and theres tables for small amd large groups.
OK listen the thai food was totally fine but that's not important because LISTEN OK LISTEN the thai tea here is the best in the city, maybe even the best I've ever had and it's unique. You might think thai tea mostly tastes the same and you're right, there's often not a lot of variance, but here they bring a bold nuanced tea flavor balanced perfectly with just enough creaminess and sweetness to give you an out-of-this-world experience. Don't sleep on it! Oh yeah the food ok sure I got the khai mon gai which was decent, hit the spot, but DID I MENTION THE THAI TEA?!
pros: friendly quick service, communal spice/water station cons: limited seating, found a bug in my food I ordered the su kho thai and the broth was interesting, not tom yum based at all, very sweet and there was no typical "hot and sour" taste if that's what you're expecting. when ordering i repeated twice to add shrimp and the waiter still forgot, so i had to order on the backend. halfway through i found a bug in my soup and lost my appetite. i'm not expecting michelin star quality but maybe turn on a light in the kitchen so bugs aren't getting in peoples food ??
Good Thai food spot fusion with Vietnamese, very small inside so seating would be hard, service was great, they have really good chili oil sauce as well! Food delicious
Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the authentic Thai flavors, fresh homemade noodles, friendly and attentive service, and generous portions.

Been here a few times now. A couple dishes have been good but most have been great. And the service is always excellent. The inside also reminds me of Thailand (which the plastic seats, colorful decor). Give this place a try! read more

This is based solely on 1 (technically 2) dishes. This is a great street food Thai place that has food your typical, Americanized Thai food spot doesn't have. The inside is colorful and inviting with counter seating and a few tables for larger groups. The woman at the counter was really nice and offered to guide me through the menu. She didn't try to oversell me and made sure I didn't get more food than I could finish. I got the pak mor youn which are different meats and veggies wrapped in a steamed large rice noodle. I got a half order of the P1 which is mostly pork and P3 which had a mix of pork, crab, and veggies with an over easy egg on top. They came beautifully presented and with some sauces. The P1 came with a spicy green sauce and the P3 came with a familiar sweet chili sauce. The P1 to me was more flavorful because it didn't have a lot going on, just focused on the meat. I also liked the green sauce although I wished it had a little more heat to it. The P3 was still good. The egg was well cooked and it felt lighter because it wasn't all meat. I think the crab didn't add a lot, though, and that's what made me lean more towards the P1. All in all, the food was great and given my love for Northern Thai food, I'm looking forward to trying some of their other dishes! read more
I tried this place during the Chinatown food walk and was excited to come back and get a full meal. We were looking at the menu and the employee offered us a dish that was made mistakenly at a discount. We were happy to try it as it was still warm. The dishes were very flavorful and the interior was super cute. It made me miss the street night markets in Thailand! I really enjoyed the ambiance and the food was great too! I would definitely come back! read more

Had a good lunch visit! Came on a weekday and it gets pretty busy, almost at cusp of not finding a seat. Prices are not cheap but also in line with many other places and at least it's a good serving size! Excited to come back to try other things N6: Guay Tiew Gaeng - The curry flavor was so good! Combined with rice noodle. Pretty large portion as well. P1: Pak Mor Yuan - This reminds me of Vietnamese banh coun. It was good quality wise, feels like it's mindfully made and never had this at Thai restaurants before, but I'm ok trying once and moving to another dish. Many other things to try here. read more

Opened 3 weeks ago. *Udon Thani (NE region of Thailand) influenced menu. *Concept: street food, take out. Food: I am a total sucker for Vietnamese Banh Cuon, which looks exactly like the Pak Mor Youn... and apparently it is!! Owner explains Vietnamese influenced area of Thailand. Pak Mor Youn $16, 4 pieces. Loved the chew, the insides had ground chicken, pork ham, fungi. The sauces options were delicious to compliment the meal. Beef stew $16- solid and balanced meal. Beef was tende had black mushrooms. Sides of perfectly boiled, firm carrots , bok choi and one egg cut into halves. Love the addition of fried rice noodles for contrast of texture. Kao Mun Gai $14.95- standard. Good. Drinks $5.5 each- *Thai ice tea- standard. *Longan drink- southern sweet tea sweet. Yummy after I added more water for me :) *Pink milk- I enjoyed it, but kids did not like the flavor. Service- owners and workers are very nice. *Self bus system. *Order online (which had more options) or at the counter. Ambiance- fun! Love the plastic chairs, gives feel of street eating. Shared Bathroom outside of restaurant, inside building. Remember the bathroom code, which is on the door you exit the restaurant. Location- convenient. 5th and Weller. Entrance on Weller. Across Uwajimaya, and light rail. Corner location next to Momosan. Old burger joint. Parking: street parking. I suspect the building has a lot too. Value- fair. Recommend- yes! Come taste NE Thai food. I am bias and love Thai food, and prefer the non standard southern Thai food we usually come across. read more

Thanks so much for your in depth review of our restaurant. we love…
I had dinner with a friend and we ordered khao soi chiang Mai with a steamed chicken leg and pad Thai with tofu. Although pad Thai wasn't on the menu, the owner kindly accommodated our request since the kitchen wasn't too busy. We also had Thai tea. The khao soi chiang Mai was incredibly flavorful and delicious, one of the best Thai dishes I've ever had. The pad Thai was also excellent, with a perfect balance of savory, sweet, and salty flavors. The portions were generous, and I was very pleased with my visit. The Thai iced tea was rich and sweet. We also tried the mango sticky rice, which featured fresh mango and sweet sticky rice; the mango was average in taste, but overall it was very good. The restaurant's ambiance was nice and simple, and I will definitely return. read more

Fun new thai place in the ID! They took over the space formerly occupied by one of the Great State Burger locations so feels like a fast food restaurant but it's a sir down thai place. Khao mun gai: chicken rice here is pretty darn tasty and I have a hard time resisting ordering this dish when it's on the menu! Chicken and importantly the chicken skin is done just right! Pak mor youn: signature dish here. Ground chicken meat in rice wrap package. Delicious when dipped in the various sauces! Small staff on hand were really friendly and helpful if you had questions about the menu. Pretty sure I have found my new go to thai restaurant in the ID! So many more dishes to try! read more

A really cute authentic Thai spot that serves unique street food style dishes. We got N3 (see pic) which was so delicious and had a great sweet spicy sour soup base that we just ate up. It came with lots of toppings (meat ball, char siu pork, fish cake, fish balls, etc.). Def would get this again!! We also got their signature minced chicken wrapped in homemade rice noodles and we thought it was good but not our type of dish. We'll definitely be back to try other items on their menu! read more

My partner and I stopped by this place on a whim one day while visiting Seattle and I'm so glad we did. The food was fantastic and the people were so friendly. The owner was working and gave us a free appetizer that she said was true authentic Thai food, Pak Mor Yuan. My partner enjoyed them, I didn't try them as they were stuffed with pork which I don't like. I got the Khao Soi Chiang Mai and it was so good. It had a chicken drumstick and a coconut curry that I have yet to be able to replicate. I dream of this meal often. The restaurant is situated in the international district in Seattle. It's a small place with little seating, so it may be hard to get a spot during peak hours. We didn't have any trouble as we went before the lunch rush. There's a bathroom in the building this place is attached to, the code is on the receipt when you order. read more
I hadn't realized this amazing spot had not been around for long but everything about it makes this place a must visit when you are in Seattle! We entered during lunch time on the weekend and there were a few seats open. We noticed it was very street food style with self-serving station and you bus your own tables. The place is beautifully decorated with bright colors and it just feels like you are on streets far from Seattle. We decided to get Khao mun gai, pak mor yuan, and passion fruit drink. Our food arrived relatively quick and with utensils and napkins. I have had lots of Khao mun gai in my life but this plate and the soup that came with it was so comforting and delicious. The sauce that you dip the chicken in was the perfect pairing. My boyfriend enjoyed his entree but wasn't feeling super hungry as he was feeling sick. The co-owner stopped by and asked how everything was, noticing he hadn't touched his food and he told her his situation. Not only was she an angel for listening but insisted that she give him some soup with a bit of rice to help feel better. We were touched by her kindness and it did help lighten his sickness. Speaking of service, the service here is genuine and polite. From the cashier we ordered from to the sweet co-owner taking time to connect with her customers as well as the bus boys also checking in, it felt so much more personal. I hope this place continues to thrive and more people stop by for some of the best Asian street food in the state! read more

Your experience sounds incredible! We're committed to bringing the…
very solid thai food located right behind uwajimaya and next to the train/light rail stations in the international district. i walked in, ordered and took it to go. it was prepared quickly and when i ate it, it had a ton of flavor. if you're a meat eater, there are lots of choices but if you're a vegetarian, know that i not found two items on the menu that i could choose from. if you're coming with a mixed crowd of people, this could present a problem for people with dietary restrictions and preferences but i would recommend you give it a try. aside from the minimized offerings for vegetarians, i arrived after a lunch rush and i'm not sure whether they were understaffed that day but there were stacks and stacks of dirty dishes in bussing bins and some tables that could've used some clean up. hence, one star removed from my review. (it didn't send me running but it could easily be off putting for some to walk into a restaurant that had zero tables occupied but a need for some post lunch love.) in general, i liked my dish and would assume their meat dishes are just as flavorful and well done. the general decor was super colorful and fun to see upon entry, so that was a plus! read more

We were looking for interesting new restaurants to try and E-Jae Pak Mor popped up as a hot and new place to visit in the Chinatown area. I'm a fan of Thai food, and several of the dishes on the menu look really enticing! I've been to E-Jae Pak Mor twice at the time of this review, once on a Friday around 6pm and once on a Wednesday around 6pm. This restaurant is definitely more busy on the Wednesday we visited, as majority of the tables were seated around that time - this could also be attributed to the weather since it was rainy on the Friday we visited and sunny on the Wednesday. Seating and atmosphere is open with many windows for natural light. Service is mostly self-serve - there is a menu above the cashier and you walk up to order, you take a number card and then they bring out the food to you. The owners are really nice and inviting, and also work in the restaurant, which is awesome. From the two experiences, it takes 10-15 minutes to get your food. I tried a good variety of dishes, which I'll review down below: P1 - Pak Mor Yuan ($16 for 4 pcs): I've actually never tried this dish before, so I was completely open to trying it! This is an interesting appetizer, the wraps themselves have no flavor/taste, but provide a gooey texture. This is a really fresh tasting dish considering the mint the sauce. A6 - Veggie Egg Rolls ($9): They are really generous with the number of egg rolls that they give you. But to be honest, you can't really make veggie egg rolls pop in terms of flavor unless you heavily spice them. I'm not sure if I would recommend the appetizers at E-Jae Pak Mor as they don't really align with my palate, but I can't really say for sure. R1 - Khao Mun Gai ($15): I LOVE hainanese chicken rice, and as soon as I saw this dish on the menu, I wanted to swing by and try it. This restaurant did not disappoint! The chicken is nice and tender, sliced thinly so it could absorb the chili lime sauce, and when interchanged with the cucumber as a palate cleanser. The rice was delicious - fluffy texture and had the hint of chicken, garlic, and ginger that I love in this dish. Soup had a thin layer of chicken fat on top, had good subtle chicken flavor throughout, and the thin slices of radishes (or wintermelon?) in the soup. What was nice was the owner provided us with complimentary thin fried chicken skins on our first visit, which was also absolutely delicious. I would say this is the dish I would personally revisit when coming to this restaurant. R2 - Tender Beef Stew Over Rice ($16): This is a really balanced entree! You receive eggs, rice, veggies, and meat. The rice was fluffy, the beef was delicious in the savory sauce, and my egg was double yolked - which was interesting! I guess one critique I have was, though the meat was extremely tender and had great flavor, you only get like 3 pieces of meat - which was a bit underwhelming. In the end, you'll likely spend $10 - $25 for a meal here at this establishment. Which I think is reasonable amount for some tasty food and nice service. I would totally recommend this place if you are visiting Chinatown, and I would personally like to revisit to re-try favorites or try new delicious dishes! read more

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the Ba Mee Hang Ba Teng! The noodles were perfectly seasoned with a delightful balance of acidity and savory flavors. The dish featured a variety of components--noodles, lime, fried wonton, fish ball, and more--making it a fun and interactive meal. Every bite felt unique as you could mix and match the flavors and textures. The interior had a casual, cafeteria-like vibe, but it was clean, inviting, and added to the charm. The staff are very friendly and took our orders quickly. Plus, the portions were incredibly generous--come hungry! read more

Omg E-Jae Pak Mor is heavenly; I'm so sad it took me so long to come here! I will say parking is an absolutely drag but it's totally worth it. I've come here twice now, and everything I've ordered is delicious. I had their beef noodle soup with rice noodles, pak mor yuan, tom yum noodle special, mango sticky rice, and something else my partner ordered but I can't quite remember. Everything was so delicious! I'm such a sucker for rice rolls, and theirs are made so perfectly. Even the rice noodles in my beef noodle were the perfect texture and you could really tell they were freshly made. Definitely a thai restaurant that's different from the normal ones that are around! read more

Had the house Tom yum noodles, delicious delicious. Wish there was Thai chili to make it more spicy but they had vinegar jalapenos, the rice rolls were fulfilling and fresh, Thai ice tea with coconut milk was awesome. Walked by this place many times during lunch and didn't have a chance to dine in. It's a small place but always crowed. I finally stopped by for lunch and ordered the number 1 on the menu. Not sure what the name is but it's a Vietnamese steamed rice roll with savory ground pork and shredded black fungus mushroom fillings, topped with lettuce, cucumbers, and crunchy fried shallots. Wow - It was delicious and so tasty!! I loved the texture, little chewy from the tapioca flour but soft rice noodle. I dipped it in the sour/sweet tamarind sauce with spicy jalapeños!!! Whoa - satisfied . Definitely will come back soon. read more
Just across the street from Uwajimaya in the International District is E-Jae Pak Mor. They serve some amazing Thai food I haven't seen as much in Seattle recently. We ordered Thai iced tea and the noodle dish Number 1, Khao Soi Chiang Mai with chicken. Everything was so flavorful and felt comforting. The Thai iced tea was the perfect sweetness, and the Khao Soi Chiang Mai was the perfect mix of savory and spicy. I love the combination of wet and dry noodles mixed with the curry. The lady who took our order was so nice and friendly. She made us feel welcome and is one of the reasons why we will be coming back--a casual place to grab a bite to eat or to do a takeout order. If you're in the area and are looking for some good Thai food, check out E-Jae Pak Mor. I will be coming back to try their rice dishes and Pak Mor entrees. read more

If you ask me, this is not a typical Thai food restaurant. Street food? Seems like the rice wrap is the most popular dishes that lots of people ordered here. The curry noodles dish is excellent. The place is small, so you have to be there early or wait if you have larger party. Self serve including cleaning the table. It is all good. If cholesterol is not a concern, order the fried chicken skin. Super good. Very guilty. Price is fair in the area. Definitely a place to come back for more. read more

We live in Seattle and we really wanted to try this place. Frankly speaking, it was not good Thai food. We love great authentic Thai food while here in Seattle and in Thailand and we were hoping this would be somewhat authentic and awesome flavors, but nope! The service was average but they got our order incorrect, even ordering in Thai language. We ordered 4 dishes and two appetizer type dishes to get a good sense of their style and taste. The one dish, Penang, curry,, was so flavorless. The crispy chicken that came with this dish was fried until it was burned and non edible. The noodle dishes were not authentic and also lacked any true flavors, and just okay. The common restroom with other tenants was dirty and was disgusting. There is better Thai food in the international district so in a world of choices, for food, this should not be your first choice. read more
Saw lots of videos for this place and finally had a chance to try it. You ordered at the counter and seat yourself. I recommend going early when they first open as it gets pack during lunch time. I ordered Su Kho Thai Noodle Soup and Pak Mor Youn/dumplings. The dumplings were bigger than I expected and packed with ingredients. The staff was super friendly where she explained how to eat it with the sauces and wrap with lettuce. I really enjoyed the noodle soup I ordered as it had amazing flavor. They serve unique Thai dishes that you don't usually see at a Thai restaurant. I would love to come back and try other dishes. read more

Love love love the owner. She is sooo sweet and amazing. She recommended P1: Pak Mor Yuan as it is her signature dish and we got it. Super delicious and d flavorful with 2 sauces, both excellent. The Longan Tea is delightful. Live the beautiful flower addition. The special: Khao Tom, N2: Spicy Thai Beef Noodle Soup and N6: Guay Tiew Gaeng were all incredibly delicious. It's a party in my mouth. Love the beautiful fun ambience and atmosphere that's so welcoming and inviting. Love the pickled jalapeño and pepper flakes combo for added spice to my customization. I had dinner here on a Friday, the workers were very kind and welcoming. Seating was a bit tight but as we waited to order it cleared up. We ordered N6 and R1. Both were tasty and would order again but I wouldn't say either dish was life changing. We also got the lilikoi iced tea and I did not like this drink at all. It tasted like cough syrup and wasn't cheap either so definitely would not order again. Overall a cute space with good food if you're in the area. read more
