To my surprise, they have the best dumplings, green onion pancake and steam bun in North Dallas area. It is tucked in the back a shopping center on Parker blvd. The place looks decent and clean. Each dumpling is twice as big as the other restaurants. Overall, food was good and we definitely will come back. read more

Dumpling House - These dumplings are twice the size as others - Chinese Near Me - Plano, Texas

such a great spot for pork buns perfect for dumplings the beef onion is my favorite and they have the best dumplings in this area!

Ate here tonight, and their dumplings are huge. We got the pan fried pork and cabbage dumplings, the steamed chive dumplings, and the green onion pancake. I've already mentioned that their dumplings are huge, larger than your average dumpling anywhere else (jeng chi, mknc, etc)--which can be a good thing or bad thing. That being said, perhaps they can work on their technique a bit. Our pan fried dumplings were burnt on the outside, slightly pink on the inside (and not in a good way), and very greasy. Instead of a big ball of filling, the filling fell apart as we ate it, very strange. We alerted the manager on duty, who took care of it in a professional manner. One star. Their steamed chive dumplings were good, as was their green onion pancake. Two stars. Would come back to try again. Three stars for now. read more

We love the dumplings. Do not order hot and sour soup. There are gobs of corn starch in it. Tea is delicious

We have bad experience here today. One of waitress here could not understand mandarin but pretended she understood and took our order. When we informed her that she took wrong order, she said it was our fault and she was right. Even when one of person in our party wanted she could understand the situation and tried to speak her language, she still insisted she was right without any apology. read more

They have the BEST beef tendon beef noodle soup!! The meat is melt in your mouth! The pork and cabbage buns are a meal on their own! Yummy! Get you some! So good! Also, we had an issue with delivery 24 and the Manager delivered our food to us! Wow! Amazing customer service! We will eat here again for sure! Customer for life! read more

Ordered the steaky pork with garlic. I know this dish it's with fatty pork but it literally just fat. All fat no meat.

We are Asian/Chinese/Korean foodies. I saw the reviews and was skeptical. Very pleasantly surprised. Ate buns, dumplings and sliced beef tenderloin stir fry. Will be back for sure. Staff was knowledgable even with the language barrier. Failed to take pics. read more

Came here on a late night and glad we did. Ordered the salt tofu and vegetables, dumplings and sweet and sour chicken. We loved the dumplings- they're homemade fresh- and the tofu dish was amazing. Service was also a big plus! Dumplings are large so come hungry! Will be back. read more

I brought my mom her for Mother's Day and we both loved it. I brought her here again for her birthday. This is our new Chinese and dumpling place. The lunch special is really like a dinner portion. Zero stars if possible..WOW! As someone who has sought out noodle houses, ramen spots and generally just a fan of a lot of asian cuisine there ARE PLACES where for "whatever reason" they just dont want your (US Born) business.wink wink.Ive experienced it a few times and generally just write them off. THE BLONDE headed asian guy who "greets" you (no hi/hello, hey how are you, good afternoon, nothing) had NO interest in selling his food, asked him a couple of quick questions with menu in hand for visual aid and he stared blankly and offered up "i dont know..i dont know.." as his reply. So you work here but cant even basically "describe" your OWN FOOD???? You couldnt recommend anything? House specialties? Favorites? Top sellers?nothing? They MAY have great food but ill never know..screw this place all day everyday...If your looking for any sort of "friendly hospitable customer service" skip these guys...wow!--edit it looks like reading thru the reviews SERVICE is a BIG ISSUE HERE!!! Should have read those first.. read more

Food was fantastic. Service was warm and welcoming. I had the chive and pork dumplings with the soy ginger dipping sauce. read more

First time eating here, and not really being a fan of this type of food really enjoyed their food. Had the food delivered not only was it earlier than estimated the food was still hot, the driver also called to verify the address but also gave a 5 minute notification. The portions were large and flavorful. I had the spring rolls the wraps were crispy yet flaky the filling was full of taste. Thought I would try the green onion pancake it was heavier than I thought it was, but it did not sit heavy which was nice. The curry shrimp fried rice was excellent. read more

真的太好吃了 I will come back soon there goubuli bun is so good。 I dont like it but I love it！ The delivery driver is so kind, I order it almost everyweek. read more

This restaurant is clearly enigmatic. I went there a week ago and had one of the best Chinese dinners I have ever had. The service was great and the food was great. I couldn't wait to return. A week later I went to the restaurant and had about the worst service I've ever experienced and very mediocre cuisine. I am truly baffled as to how they stay in business. As I look through the previous reviews I see the dramatic differences from experience to experience. This may explain my experience. I will not return. Follow up: as you can see below the manager of the Dumpling House wrote a message indicating he wanted to fix the problem. He didn't give me a way to contact him, so I called and asked to speak with him. The person I spoke with said he was not available and took my name and number and the reason for the call. I have not heard from him. read more

The food was great, but the service was horrendous. Waited 20 mins when the restruant was not full. The place is understaffed. Food portion is not worth the price. Their most noticeable dishes like dumpling and buns can take up to 40mins. Over all, this was the 1st and last time I'll come here. There are way to many other choices around P.s. there is no AC, are you bloody kidding me? We are in TX summer... and you have no AC?! read more

Best beef pancakes in Plano!!! Sweet and sour soup is also a must try:) they place is always busy but waiters and waitresses are courteous and friendly. My wife and I will try their pork and scallops bums read more

A coworker suggested this restaurant for lunch and it was wonderful. The restaurant was comfortable and inviting. We had the freshly made dumplings, and hot and sour soup. Keep in mind the portions are huge so splitting is a good idea. Look forward to trying other items on the menu and will definitely return. Highly recommend. Go there. read more

Getting take out today, but will definitely come back for sit down. Courteous staff, fast service. Excited about exploring their menu more.

Ordered from UberEATS. Food was not good. The noodle dish came as just one gelatinous block of noodles. The crispy fried chicken fish that shows as one of their special dishes is literally a fried chicken cutlet on top of broccoli. Dumplings was very thick and not good at all. The hot sour soup was poorly seasoned. The only dish that I really liked was the steamed buns. There are 20 authentic Chinese restaurants within five miles of here and next time, I'll just go pick up something that I want. read more

Haven't been here for a long time. No service at all!Dumplings seems pretty but not fresh.

Came in late on a Sunday and was sat right away. House special dumplings, scallion pancakes, beef pan fried cake were all delicious. General Tso plus house buns were decent. Large portions so we had plenty left overs for second meal. I'd come back if I was in the area again. read more

I love their buns. And really good service. I will Be Back For sure The best food in here is the beef pancake. read more

We absolutely loved the dumpling house. Ordered several types of dumplings and all were very good. The stand out suprise were the scallion pancakes. OMG so good. I dream about these and they are really hard to find in Dallas. Service was fast and friendly. Can't wait to go back. read more

Loved our takeout. Really good green onion pancakes and even better cold noodles with shredded chicken and peanut sauce. I don't live ANYWHERE near this establishment and drive almost 25 minutes to pick up food from here. Worth it. Yum. read more

I have to start by saying I don't normally eat Asian food so I don't have much to compare flavors to but with that being said we have come here twice in 1 week because we were so impressed with the flavor and price. We had fried pork and cabbage dumplings with the steamed house signiture buns the first time and it was fantastic. Also had oolong tea which I really enjoyed. Our second visit we ordered fried house signiture buns and my other half ordered hot and sour soup which she said was very good. This time we tried the Jasmine tea which was also very good. On our first visit we ate too much to try a dessert but this time we saved room for steamed creamy custard buns which were very tasty but I feel like it could use some type of dipping sauce or powdered sugar then again that may just be the American in me looking for extra sweetness. Overall we both enjoy the food and the staff is very friendly. We will be coming here as often as possible and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent food at a very reasonable price. read more

I had driven past this a few times and really wanted to stop. I finally got time to go and I wish I would have stopped sooner! The staff was so nice and helpful. We ended up ordering steamed dumplings, minced beef soup, and shrimp pineapple fried rice. This was clearly too much food for two but was SO GOOD. read more

My husband and I love ordering takeout from here, it's right down the street from our house. Our go to's are the jalapeño lo mein chicken (just the right kick) and any type of steamed dumplings! Our food always arrives hot and neatly arranged in containers with utensils and all, and the staff are always friendly when we call in or stop by. If you dine in, there's a very clean and intimate environment. read more

The first time i went to this place, back in 2014, was when the restaurant was located in Irving, the goubuli bun i ordered tasted absolutely delicious, it actually reminded of the bun that i used to eat when i was a kid in China. Over the years, I have ordered from this place a few times, the food they cooked met my expectation; not the most delicious food that i have ever eaten, but not awful enough for me to not want to come back. However, tonight, when i ordered some pork cabbage buns, the dough itself tasted okay, but the filling inside, pork and cabbage, tasted kind of dry and flavorless. If i am going to pay over $1 for each bun, i kind of expect the food to taste better than what i cook at home, unfortunately, that wasn't the case tonight. Definitely will not go to this place again any time soon. read more

I hadn't eaten out at a Chinese restaurant in a few years. I had a hankering, so chose Dumpling House after seeing the Yelp reviews. It was a very friendly and delicious food. I had the lunch special mapo tofu and with fried rice and hot and sour soup. My friend chose pan fried beef and onion dumplings. Both dishes were delicious, and I really enjoyed the hot and sour soup. The server was very friendly and helpful, and attentive. My friend got a complimentary soup that didn't usually come with her food since it wasn't a lunch special. I am definitely planning a return visit with my family and trying some more dishes. read more

I love it here. The food is so good and fresh! The service is also fast. And I didn't feel that it was too expensive. I will definitely go back again! read more

Every now and then I crave some comfort food, and few things hit the spot better than these dumplings. Yes, they take a few minutes to make-- that's because they are legit-- made from scratch, not thawed in a microwave. Once you bite into them you know they are worth the wait. Order to go, take your time getting there, then enjoy every bite! read more

It is the worst management ever! I got there at 12:35 pm and ordered 2 kinds steamed dumplings. I waited for 50mins until 1:20 pm. I asked more than 2 times how long it would take after 30 mins waiting. I had been told they were making it for me. After 50mins I couldn't wait longer and I asked waitress to check if they forgot my order. She told me they didn't make it for me at all!! Is it a joke?! After I had been waiting for 50 mins and after I had been checking with them so many times?! They didn't even make the dumpling for me at all. I ended up went back to work with no lunch at all! I would never go to the restaurant ever! read more

The steamed Goubuli buns are stellar, but I am not returning to this restaurant until it hires more staff. For how busy it is and how large the restaurant is, Dumpling House needs to hire more waiters and actual busboys. Right now, there are 2-3 waiters that are in charge of everything, which is not efficient. For all I know, they may even be the ones going to the back and making the dumplings, too! I also do not appreciate the blanket statement that they use after we get seated each time. "All orders will take a long time, because there are a lot of people here." That is not acceptable. The restaurant can generate more income if the turnover is faster. This is probably one of the worst run restaurants I've been in a while. read more

The service was very pleasant!! My family was treated well. We throughly enjoyed our meal! We had the chicken and mushroom dumplings fried and the shrimp and pork dumplings steamed and they were both big and delicious! The combination fried rice was good as well! The atmosphere is great. Everything is very clean and nice. We now have a new local dining spot for sure!! read more

The food was ok, but the service was POOR. We went there for dinner and ordered multiple dishes, including sweet and sour chicken for the kid. But the food (sweet and sour chicken) was delivered to the wrong table and sat it there for about 10-15 minutes while the waitress was disappeared!!! The people at the table did not touch the food and told the waitress that they didn't order the dish. The waitress just simply took the dish back to the kitchen and re-served it to our table and lied to us about the food!! She didn't realize we saw and knew what's going on!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! We will not recommend this restaurant to anyone and won't be back there for sure. read more
