I ordered this as a delivery to my work since it was raining out ! Everything looked and sounded so good that I literally ordered over 50 dollars with of food ! The house buns !! I totally liked because the flavors brought me back to my parents cooking ! So soft on the outside and just a nice simple filling .. these buns aren't exploding with exotic ingredients.. nice simple , and yet so tasty and defines traditional Chinese home cooking ! ( I always ask for more noodles and less meat ) oh and now another satisfying taste was the chives bun .. please note you have to really like chives since it's pretty strong and fragrant ( seriously you'll be smelling likes chives all day ) I absolutely devoured them ! These 3 items I'll definitely come back to eat or order again ! The delivery was made in good efficient timing , and packaged in nice plastic or boxed containers ! I have been eating more Chinese food lately because I know they have suffered the most due to the COVID19 pandemic adn the stigma. I was craving pork buns and this place is close to my house. Ordergin and pick up were extremely easy and efficient. I did't interact with anyone else other tahn the person who greeted me behind the counter, at more than 6 ft of course. The food was delicious! The meat extremely well seasoned, didn't even need to put any sauces on it. They were big enough and a decent amount of buns for the price. 10/10 will go back. read more

Food is very good perhaps better than Jeng Chei. Our shrimp and pork dumpling have lots of shrimp. It would be nice to have rice vinegar and ginger for tye dumpling. The soup in Spicy beef noodle soup is so flavorful but not greasy. The onion pancake has lots of onion. Definitely good quality food. They seem short handed. Hidden out of the way, this is a really enjoyable place to dine: came for dumplings, got them, and on the recommendation of the waitstaff got an order of the beef pancakes. The dumplings are huge, about eight to an order: the chicken/mushrooms and the pork/string beans were amazing. The beef pancake (6 to an order) look like fried flat dumplings, very very juicy (wear a bib) and equally delicious. I came here on a Saturday night and there were a few tables taken by families or couples. So, not too busy. My family and I sat down to order and the server had a hard time hearing what we wanted to order. I wasn't really bothered by it because it happens all the time, so I brushed it off. After waiting for 30 MINUTES, the tables around us started getting food even though they arrived after us. Weird, right? So we get a servers attention and tell him that we've been sitting here for a half an hour with no food. He looks a bit anxious and turns around to tell another server. The kitchen then proceeds to panic looking for your ticket and complaining to each other. It was chaos! I was over here thinking "I just wanted some delicious dumplings and to spend quality time with my family." 15 minutes later, they come by to finally give us our food. At this point, I was too hungry to even think if the food was good or not. After eating about 5-6 dumplings, I realized that the dumplings were mediocre. The dumplings are really good... if you're hungry. Otherwise, you're better off just going to the mediterranean restaurant next door. This was my second visit and it was super underwhelming compared to my first visit. Overall, the experience wasn't too bad. I have heard a lot about this place and wanted to try it. Order took about a hour to deliver which was expected on a Friday night so that was fine and the food was still vary hot. Got 3 different flavors of fried dumplings and that's were the disappointment came in all tasted exactly the same I even double checked to see if we received the wrong order. All the dumplings were well cooked but just bland and no difference in flavor. None of them were even the same kind of meat but they were unidentifiable. I went to pickup the order, and I got there a little early, and the order was already done! The portions were very good. Almost enough for two. Everything's was nicely cooked. Best dumplings and buns I've had since moving to Dallas twenty some odd years ago. Very authentic and tasty.

Admittedly more pricey than what the husband and I are used to paying for Chinese, but our food was really good. There was a bit of a wait (10-15 minutes) but we did go during the Sunday lunch rush. I recently ate here for the first time just a few days ago with my husband and in-laws. We ordered a handful of appetizer/sides, and ordered four different types of dumplings. Their cold dishes (we ordered spicy pig ears, pickled cucumber, and tofu noodles) were pretty good, as well as their deep fried salt and pepper tofu and millet porridge. We had fried beef dumplings and pan fried scallop dumplings, traditional pork and cabbage dumplings (steamed), and a chicken with shiitake mushroom dumplings (also steamed). The size of these dumplings is no joke. They're massive! Think two times the size of your average dumpling. Between the four of us, we weren't able to finish the food we ordered, so we ended up taking it home. (The leftovers were still tasty, can't compare to when they're hot and fresh, but still great!) This restaurant is tucked away towards the back of the parking lot, but what a great little place to get some fancy dumplings! read more

We ended up ordering shrimp and pork (pan fried), pork and cabbage (pan fried) and pork and chives (steamed). There are distinct differences with each flavor but all were delicious. The meat to dough ratio was appropriate, very juicy and full of yumminess. We also ordered the green onion pancake, picked cabbage and cucumber in garlic sauce. Yes, there was A LOT of leftovers but that was by design. The only issue I had was with the pickled cabbage, it was marinated with jalapeno instead of fresh pepper (they are the small spicy red peppers) which I felt gave it an odd taste - not bad just not what I had expected. I ordered from this place for the first time through Uber Eats. Food is delivered by the restaurant and not any 3rd party. Food arrived at a reasonable time. I received the correct order, and it taste decent. The reason for the 1 star is TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The drivers don't seem to have access to the delivery instructions, and per the driver, he doesn't understand English and can't understand verbal directions. The problem wasn't this. The problem was him getting frustrated at me (yelling and cursing). Had I not been on a project video call I would have met him downstairs, but that was not an option this go around. The hot and sour soup was brought out first and it was scalded. Once you actually got it in your mouth and could stop smelling it, it wasn't bad. However, the stench rolling off it made it inedible. This rather set the tone for the rest of the meal. The the orange chicken came out dry and partially burnt in places. Also on a side note, our table felt like it was about to collapse at any moment. The dough was good but the filling had no flavor. I really wanted to like these dumplings because of all the reviews but honestly I was very disappointed. The one tied at the bund was much better. Lastly we tried the pancake filled with radish. These were terrible, do was too thick and dry and the inside radish filling had no dry shrimp and totally had a sesame oil flavor. Not to mention that it took another 20 minutes after the dumplings for these pancakes to come out. Clearly something has changed since the previous reviews.
