It was the gold standard for a real sandwich in the city. Sadly, the magic has faded. Between the soaring prices and the shrinking portions, the value just isn't there anymore. You can taste the "corner-cutting"--the flavors aren't as bold as they used to be, and the sandwiches feel noticeably smaller even though the cost has increased exponentially - I mean $30 for a sammy?!
