Nice little gem in Savin hill, first time in and the staff was super nice and inviting. Cute spot, locals seem to pop in all the time. We grabbed a coffee for the lady, The Italian stallion and let them eat steak. Both sandwiches were good imo, breads, I went with the recommended selection by the staff on the steak sandwich. Was debating an everything bagel. I wasn't disappointed. Only two critiques for me, maybe some cheese would help it from being too dry. The nice staff did offer their homemade mayo and it was great! Helped a lot. Without it, I wouldn't have finished my meal. Saw a lot of cute dogs while eating in the window seating! Will be back

Not bad! It's a cute spot near the Savin hill T stop. They're open for breakfast and lunch. There isn't much seating inside so it's best to take anything to go. The cashier was nice and my order came out pretty quickly. I ordered an ice coffee and the Phoenix. The coffee was alright and the sandwich was good. If you're looking for a quick bite to go and you're in the Savin hill area check it out!

Sunny Saturday noon. Scant streetside parking. Came by for a quick iced coffee (3.25 small) and grilled cheese (4.5). Great vibes. 8 window-facing seats inside. 2min for coffee, 5min for grilled cheese.

They have a welcoming outside and a very cute inside. The staff is nice even when it's busy. The sandwich's are the pull for me. The bread is always good and I always leave happy. The prices are fair but they could do more with the filling of the sandwiches

Honeycomb Cafe is 100% hit or miss. The very first time I visited, it was stellar! The cashier made me feel so welcome and was super friendly. She made recommendations and we chatted like neighbors do; job well done to her! The second time we ordered smoothies and were told they were outta straws after they processed our payment. Very annoying, but not a total dealbreaker though we waited quite some time before returning because of this faux pas. Third and fourth visits, the cashiers barely spoke. No greeting. 100% transactional, which I don't expect from local spots. It feels like their kindness is exclusively reserved and exercised for regulars, which is a bummer. Smoothies -- good, but overpriced for what you get. 16oz in a styrofoam cup? Hmm.. Food -- I love the avocado toast. And my sister has been satisfied with the BLT.

This is the cutest little neighborhood coffee shop ever! I'm skeptical about cat people, but for Honeycomb Cafe, I'll make an exception ;) ! From the moment I came in, I wanted to order something off of the menu. Instead, I chose a plain hot coffee to start my morning. After all, when you're in Boston, you have to pick your food choices wisely! I will certainly return for a full meal!

Overall the service here and the speed of service was great! Super cute small place inside, in a cute little downtown area. My partner got the bird is the word which was overall a good Sammy. However, I got the pop it lox it drop it and it wasn't necessarily as described. I was kinda bummed it didn't come with the scallion dill cream cheese as the menu stated, instead there was a LOT of plain cream cheese. The lox sandwich was just ok. I'd come back to give them another try as it could've just been an off day.

Was on the hunt for a BEC and found this place. Super small on the inside not really a sit down place but is homey w gag decor. Ordered the Breakfast sandwhich (BEC) on an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese (pro tip). Came out super quick. My friends ordered variations of the breakfast sandwhich and didn't have their socks knocked off. It's not the greatest BEC i've ever had but it was quality. They were dissatisfied with the egg ratio whereas I didn't mind it at all. The everything bagel tasted real not manufactured. Not sure if they make them in house but that's a hearty bagel. Overall no complaints on my end- pleasant experience. Jalapeño cream cheese is bomb btw

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. Overall, this is a fantastic breakfast spot with great food, a fun atmosphere, and solid gluten-free options.

Other than that I'd stop somewhere else for a brunch.

The smell of bacon was too good to keep moving past it and we decided to head inside. Best happy accident!! Any place that has staff wearing shirts that say "Stoked for yolks" and has an array of pig decor- jackpot! The small menu was deliciously stacked with breakfast and lunch options; the griddle was sizzling, there's a drink fridge, and a spot to stand and consume. My husband got a turkey and I did a ruby melt; SO GOOD! I perused the menu, and the breakfast options all looked incredible! If you find yourself on this end of Tremont and you smell amazing bacon, follow your nose to Mike and Patty's - you will not be disappointed! Also, staff was super friendly! There's a small park with shaded benches about 2 blocks away (Elliot Norton Park) which is a great place to sit down and devour the food. I ordered the Mission Breakfast Burrito and it was delicious. As of August 2026, the website lists the burrito as $14, but the price on the in-person menu was $16. I would give the burrito 4 out of 5 stars because of the way it was wrapped - about a third of the burrito was just egg and cheese and the toppings (avocado, red onion, hash browns, salsa verde, crema) were crammed on the other side of the burrito. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. One random detail that stuck out to me was that their drinks in their refrigerator were very cold - no lukewarm sodas here! I would come back here to try their signature "Fancy" sandwich. Overall, this is a very solid breakfast spot in Boston!
