Watermelon lemonade
Jillian S.

BEST little coffee shop with countless options and flavors to custom make your drink. First morning , I had a blueberry bagel and a vanilla hazelnut hot coffee with cream. The beans are flavored so I didn't need flavored creamer or sugar! They definitely do not skimp you on cream cheese, which is my usual complaint with bagel shops. The coffee was so fresh, we went back the next two morning of vacation. The second morning, I got a sausage egg and cheese bagel sandwich with a watermelon lemonade. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I wish I had one of these where I lived. Support small businesses, not Starbucks!

Gross bread, not toasted, missing all ingredients but the tomato for some reason

I come here for lunch several times a month. Today I got 3 turkey clubs. They are always on point and delicious. Today I was appalled. You would think If you spend $30 on sandwiches they would at least have the ingredients it says they have. Guess not, won't be back. Just paid $30 for what could have been mistaken for poorly prepared hospital food

Small little coffee shop with a wide selection of flavored coffees. Definitely a smoother milder blend that fits their name mud house:)

Brunch spots are a dime a dozen these days, but finding one that actually delivers on the hype is a…read morerare feat. Milkweed manages to stand out in a crowded scene by focusing on what matters most: incredibly fresh and flavorful food. The menu spans breakfast, brunch, and lunch with a level of seasoning that hits the mark every time. These are my favorites so far: -The Sweet Dutch Baby: A crowd-pleaser that manages to be both airy and indulgent. - Corned Beef Hash: Super fresh and flavorful. You get an entire roasted roma tomato. - Cheesy Spinach Omelette: Simple, fresh, and very cheesy. - The iced coffees and teas are well-crafted as well. - For those looking for a lighter start, they offer great "healthier" alternatives like smoothies and loaded fruit and yogurt bowls, making it an easy choice for groups with different dietary preferences. The Experience The atmosphere is very homey. Staff are friendly. Place is clean and doesn't have that diner stickiness. The service can be a bit of a rollercoaster. There are moments when it feels like you've faded into the background or been forgotten entirely. But the food is worth the wait. If you're looking for a quick "in-and-out" meal, this might not be the place. But if you value high-quality, delicious brunch offerings and don't mind a slower pace, Milkweed is a local gem that delivers where it counts.

Wow what a great meal!…read more We went as a party of five. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodated us running late as well. Our server was so kind and gave us helpful advice on our order. We ended up ordering the Jerk Duck drumettes which were incredible -- super soft fall off the bone duck in a tangy sauce with some spice. Truly perfect and I think we all licked our plates clean. We also tried the fried okra which had little okra sticks set in a yogurt dip and was a really nice compliment to the drumettes. Last we got the Plantain chips which were so good -- definitely some of the best plantain chips I have had because they cut them so thin! And the dipping sauce was yummy also, would definitely start your meal with this. For mains, we shared the Suya Fennel, Goat Ragu, and Prawn Curry. I'm not sure I've ever eaten a fennel dish before but the Suya Fennel was so yummy with different textured vegetables in a creamy sauce. The prawn curry was also incredible with five fat prawns in a tangy coconut curry sauce with a side of fried roti/paratha perfect for cleaning up all the sauce. They also were easily able to accommodate a nut allergy and put the cashew cream on the side for us! The goat ragu was also yummy but came out like-warm (not sure if that's how it's supposed to come) and was overshadowed by the other mains a bit. For dessert we ended up trying all three -- the Cardamom Semifredo, Chocolate Raspberry Clafoutis, and Mango ice cream and love all of them! I think we all agreed our favorite was the Cardamom Semifredo because it's so unique -- the texture of the cake is almost like rasmalai and it comes with crunchy puffed rice which was a perfect balance. Definitely worth trying if you're open to trying something new! We also loved the mango ice cream with peanut brittle which is thicker than typical ice creams and also like a mango lassi ice cream. The chocolate clafoutis was super solid and similar to a lava cake, and perfect if you're looking for a chocolate fix, but not as unique as the other two. Overall we had such a great time at Comfort Kitchen. The service was great, the food was great, and the vibes were great. We will certainly be back!

We visited around 8:30pm, 2 hours before close, & had no issues grabbing a table for 2! Service was top-notch & food was amazing. These are the dishes we ordered: -Aachar Beef -Fried Okra -Jerk Duck Drumettes -Fried Trout -Prawn Curry w/ Roti Everything we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS! The Aachar Beef consists of 8 sliced grilled beef, laid over some green tomato aioli w/ some fingerling potatoes + pickled shallots. Had great flavor & every ingredient paired well w/ each other. I personally LOVE okra, so the fried okra was right up my alley! It came with garama masala yogurt, which was SO ADDICTIVE to eat. Now, if you're like us & ordered the Jerk Duck Drumettes as well, PLEASE try dipping the fried okra in both the jerk sauce AND the yogurt dip... it's such a lovely flavor bomb! I highly recommend the Jerk Duck Drumettes for anyone who is a fan of duck... or even for those who don't usually like duck honestly. It's not gamey at all & was super tender. The sauce was finger-licking good! It packed some heat, as did the crab fat hot sauce that came w/ the fried trout & the prawn curry. Normally in my reviews, I have a clear favorite for dishes we order but I have to admit... it's pretty hard to say which was my favorite from here because everything was just that tasty! The Fried Trout comes boneless, with some coleslaw & crab fat hot sauce that made for the perfect dip! Highly recommend if you like a bit of spice. The Prawn Curry was my favorite entree. I couldn't stop eating it & by the end of our meal, we had finished everything INCLUDING the curry and sauces hahaha. Seriously, you can't go wrong with anything you order from Comfort Kitchen! One of the best & most satisfying meals I've had in a while. I will definitely be back again soon. Parking: free street parking

When I'm on travel I love finding places with real, whole foods that don't make me feel like crap…read more I ordered from here every day. The prices are amazing for what you get :D The menu here is HUGE and has tons of options for customization. There are wraps, salads, smoothies, sandwiches, bowls, drinks - so many items to choose from! This place is located in the lobby of the Amazon Seaport Office. I got a Spicy Greek Breakfast Wrap ($13, +$1.50 for egg white sub) and a Santorini Sunrise Yogurt Bowl ($12). The portions are gigantic and the food is fresh. The Platters, both the breakfast and mezze are gorgeous. Pictures attached. The interior has ample seating and is bright and beautiful. They also prep your food impressively quickly given how many orders they seem to get! They get BUSY but I get why - the food is so good.

So far, I am a huge fan of the pita, hummus, labneh, anything with meat (smash burgers and brisket breakfast sando), and they have pretty decent mac. I'm excited to continue eating my way through their options. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. The restaurant is bright and bubbling. The servers are very kind and always helpful with menu questions. It can get quite busy but service moves quick. I have ordered ahead and ordered in person and never had an issue. If you are in a rush around lunch definitely do yourself a favor and order ahead. If you have time, the wait is never usually more than 10-15 mins and goes by quick.
