Loaded Hashbrown the Baller
Beese C.

I'm disappointed at how inconsistent this place has gotten. My last several orders have been nothing like the menu items as advertised. Used to live the loaded hashbrown. Lately mine have been completely missing things - some days no sour cream, some days no scallions. Today's seemed to have all the right ingredients but it looked really smooshed when I opened it - weird because I ordered in person and walked out with it, no delivery. When I went to pick it up, all the cheese and topping lifted up cleanly on their own. Underneath was a plain, cold hashbrown. This cheese seems like it was sitting out in its own and thrown on a hashbrown at the last minute. Look at my pics, none of that cheese is connected to the hashbrown. Even worse is what they've done with the Baller, possibly their most popular sandwich. I'm getting so much less bacon than I used to on this. Used to be a nice pile of crunchy Iberico bacon, now it's two completely flat strips, no crunch at all. Take a look at the photo of my sandwich and compare that to what they've done advertise online. I can't go back to this place as the quality has been worse literally every time I've ordered.

Flavors - 3.6/5 Textures - 4/5 Presentation - 4/5 Value for Money - 3.8/5 Loved how fresh the ingredients were! I tried the fancy and the baller, and I'd recommend the fancy. Pretty well constructed, needs tomato or something fresh.

How exciting it was to see a Mike & Patty's in JP on a Saturday morning! We knew we had to grab breakfast here. Most of the tables were occupied but we snagged one by the window. We ordered a sassquatch and a side of the hashbrown. The sassquatch though slightly burnt was delicious. The grilled squash with the chili oil (very mild, could've used some more for sure!), the delicious maple aioli, the fried egg on the milk bun was a wonderful combination. All three stars are for this breakfast sandwich. The hash brown was a let down in multiple ways. First of all, look at the size for $3. And it arrived cold. I could get a whole box at TJs and there are larger in size, tastier, and crispier. For $3, they should've given three of these. Don't waste your money on the hash brown, you will be disappointed.

I heard so much about this place and I'm so glad I stopped by. I ordered the Fancy and added a hash brown. It was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! I did not get anything else with the sandwich but there were a ton of drink options. The inside is on the small side but there a few tables if you want to sit down and eat. The service was great and quick. There is a step at the door so watch out for that when you walk in. I'd definitely get another sandwich on a weekend morning.

I'm new to the JP area and am so glad I found this place. Clean, bright, and welcoming spot for a sandwich or brunch fix. You order at the counter, and while there might be a little bit of a wait for the food to come out (15 mins or so), it's worth it! I got the fancy which had eggs, bacon, cheese, avocado, on multigrain bread - a nutritious way to start the day!

The English muffins are delicious! If anything, grab a few plain ones to try. I typically order the Carolina Caviar but, I've tried a few of the other breakfast sandwiches as well. All very good. This location, really all of them, are super busy on weekend mornings. Order ahead for pickup is highly advised. I waited about an hour for 4 breakfast sandwiches one Saturday morning. Unfortunately, the muffins were burnt.

The crispy cauliflower was my favorite dish of the night, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The rigatoni bolognese was solid and comforting. The Chianti-Marsala braised beef short rib was insanely tender and cooked perfectly (just wish there were a few more mushrooms!). Also have to mention the dirty martini was so good. Overall, such a great spot with a fun vibe, amazing service, and really tasty food. I'll definitely be back!

I've been drooling over the passion fruit krembo and the pear tart so I had to give them a try as well. Pear tart- absolutely perfect, so mellow and sweet and I loved the poached pear in the middle! Passionfruit krembo- honestly stronger on the coconut and meringue flavor than on the passion fruit? Tastes almost like a lemon meringue tart to me. Orange blossom latte- frankly didn't get any flavor of orange blossom in the latte, until it melted totally I could taste it a little in the coffee. The vanilla was also really light. It's a pretty unadulterated coffee (as is typical for a cold brew) and I kinda like my coffee sweet and creamy, so I was not too impressed on a first taste. But once it melted I liked it a lot more. Probably will stick with black sesame next time. Note- they serve their pastries glued with sugar (?) on a cardboard round. Im not too sure how to eat it like this so I ended up prying them off the round.

I'm not sure what they offer on their regular menu because they only gave us the happy hour menu. I wonder if you're able to order something from their regular menu during happy hour? Anyways, we got three things from their "Shy Hour" menu: - Chipotle cheddar bacon smash burger ($10) - ranch fried chicken sandwich ($10) - 12 chicken bites (60¢/each) + sauce flight $2 Chicken bites were good. Not dry at all & I highly recommend paying the extra $2 for the sauce flight to try all the sauces they have. The chicken bites do come with a choice of one sauce though & is 60¢ per extra sauce. Burgers were cooked well. They were juicy & not dry at all. Very good flavor for both! I really liked the chipotle cheddar bacon burger. It was slightly sweet (maybe had a bit of maple syrup or honey?). Both burgers came with fries. The fried were your classic frites; reminiscent of McDonald's fries to us but less salty & crispier. Overall, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would, since I'm not much of a chicken fan. I would for sure come back again, especially for their happy hour! Great deals & nice portion sizes.

I could taste each individual ingredient with every bite, which is a unique experience that only happens when everything is fresh and flavorful as can be. I think this place just ruined subs for me because no other will come close to being THIS good. If I were on death row, this sandwich would be part of my last meal.
