    Interior of the restaurant

Clean restaurant, cool colors and interior, fast service. Beef 1000 is a cold roast beef sandwich with a lot of beef see picture nice taste. Don't expect any sides with any of the items. The food comes in a paper bag with the logo on it. Moderate pricing.

Window service only but you can order online and service is quick. Tried out the Ham Dijon sandwich. I was expecting it to be a lot bigger based on the photo on the online menu. The ham was prosciutto rather than a deli ham, and there could have been a lot more of it. However, the flavors of the pickles/butter/dijon was very well balanced. I would try other sandwiches, but wouldn't get this one again.

Came for their Super Cluckin Sunday honey mustard chicken sandwich. It was really tasty and tender. The edges of the bun were buttery and perfect. The sauce was a bit too sweet for me and a wish it was a tad crispier.

    Roast Beef 1000

Biting into a roast beef 1000 is the definition of a slice of heaven. Soft pillowy bun, piles of flavorful fatty sliced beef, and a zesty thousand island sauce that is a party in your mouth. What more could you want in a sandwich? This online order only, walk up window operation that operates only a few days a week during lunch hours can be a bit annoying but maybe the scarcity is what makes it even more special when you do happen to get a sandwich on a blue moon.

Cutty's is a sandwich shop in Brookline Village. Their menu is minimal and to the point. They make only a handful of artisanal sandwiches and a couple of soups. They sell pickles and various spreads too. Theirs only one thing to get for me. It's the Beef 1000. It's slow-roasted beef, crispy shallots, 1000 island dressing + sharp cheddar on Iggy's black pepper brioche bun. My goodness it's good. Tender, sliced so thin yould read through them. Sweet shallots and tart dressing. Salty creamy tangy cheese is balanced beautifully with the soft peppery airy brioche bun. Truly a must try samich.

Super cluckin Sunday bbq ranch chicken sandwich

Pros: -Super Cluckin' Sunday chicken sandwich. I've only had the BBQ ranch so far but will be sure to try the Honey Mustard ASAP. Order ahead on the Monday before (instructions on their website) because it sells out and pick up is a breeze The BBQ ranch chicken sandwich is delicious. The chicken is tender, sauces are tasty and overall it is a delightful experience that I can't wait to repeat!

    Incredible egg sandwich today!

Great egg sandwich this morning, with bacon. Plus I had the turkey for lunch this week too. Lucky me! Incredible food, with a nice online ordering experience. Food ready as promised.

    Pork Rabe (Saturdays only)

I am so in love with Cutty's. I had this twice during my stay in Brookline and if I had more time, I would have it again. I sampled the following: -Pork Rabe -Tomato Soup -Honey Mustard Fried Chicken Sandwich (+ Spicy Goo for $1.50) -Tandem Coffee All items were delicious and well-priced for portion size and taste. You can taste the quality of ingredients and the food comes out quickly with a friendly smile, which is a plus! What makes these sandwiches great is the ratio of ingredients to a perfectly toasted bun. I really fell in love with the Chicken Sandwich they offer on their Super Cluckin' Sunday once a month. The crispiness and meatiness of the chicken sandwich was perfect against the sauce and lettuce. The spicy goo wasn't too spicy-- there was a pleasant amount of heat. It was well-worth the wait. I am just sad I don't know when the next time I'll have this again!

The roast beef was completely underwhelming. It was small and not worth the price. Just seems like generic grocery store roast beef.

The pork filling was seasoned well and the crunch made each bite so satisfying. These were gone instantly. DAC BIET A rich beef broth loaded with rare steak brisket tripe tendon and meatballs. So much flavor and such a generous portion. Comforting, savory and the kind of bowl that warms you instantly. MI WONTON Light clean and comforting. The wontons were stuffed generously and the broth was flavorful without feeling heavy. A great balance to the richer bowls we ordered. SPICY MISO BEEF STEW This was incredible. Spicy miso broth with tender slow cooked beef and all the toppings. The spice level actually enhanced the flavor instead of overpowering it. Deep savory and so satisfying. TAN TAN MEN One of my favorites. Spicy creamy broth with ground pork bok choy and bean sprouts layered over chewy noodles. Rich bold and full of flavor in every bite. We also added marinated soft boiled eggs to our ramen and they were perfect. Soft jammy and full of flavor. Highly recommend adding one to any bowl. Overall Soup Shack really hit my craving. Everything tasted fresh portions were generous and the spicy bowls had so much depth. Loved this visit and will definitely be back.

I might get some angry comments for saying this but pho Viet has the best cold cut banh mi in all of Massachusetts!! I will post again when I go next time and get some pictures. You order at the counter, find a seat, and the food comes out pretty quickly. We had the summer rolls and the vegan ramen. The summer rolls were fresh and flavorful, and the peanut sauce was especially good. The vegan ramen was also enjoyable, with good-quality ingredients and a satisfying broth. My only real critique is that I wish there were more options to add heat. I tend to like my noodle soups on the spicier side, and I would have loved more chili oil, hot sauce, or other spicy condiments to customize the flavor. There was also SO much broccoli and that really took over the soup, I wish there was a bit more variability or balance in the veggies. Overall, the food was tasty, the quality was solid, and the service was fast.

5 for food 2 for service…read more We love the NYC version of this restaurant, and were excited to visit the Boston spot for mouth numbing dishes. Starting with an iPad menu, our ordering experience with our waiter was subpar. We ended up with extra things ordered that weren't part of our initial order. In good news the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fire and the waiter poured 5 glasses of water for 3 of us. So we could cool down without needing to flag him down. With the only non-Asian waiter in the restaurant, he struggled with basic elements of service. Inattentive. Requests went unmet (lemons for water). We sat for more than 15 mins after asking to box up leftovers and to close our check. This was all a little embarrassing, as we brought my boyfriend's father. After singing praises of the NYC spot, this was a disappointment.

The food was exceptional across the board. If you're visiting, absolutely try the tofu--it's what they specialize in and it's outstanding. I ordered the Spicy BBQ chicken with scallion pancakes. The chicken had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors, which I really appreciated. The scallion pancakes were definitely authentic--far superior to most restaurants I've tried. The service was quick and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food in a welcoming atmosphere!

I first received some banchan - cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, fried fish cake, and stewed radish strips. They were all excellent. The cabbage kimchi had a rich seafood stock flavor with some smokiness to it. The radish kimchi had actually absorbed flavor rather than just sitting in brine. The fish cake had a hondashi-like umami, and the sliced onions tasted like they came out of a gyudon - soaked through with soy sauce. They also brought out a small sample of their housemade tofu before the main dish. It was soft and silky. The seafood soondubu ($18.99) was equally excellent. The tofu had enough flavor to stand on its own; it wasn't just a protein filler. The seafood had some smokiness/ wok hei to it, which wouldn't be out of place in a bowl of jjampong. The soondubu here might be a couple of dollars more than other nearby establishments, but it's well worth it.
