This is the CUTEST cafe in Boston! The plethora of greenery, plants, and succulent (which you can buy btw!) are beautiful and create a comforting, earthy vibe. There is also lots of seating either at a table or at the bar, and large windows creating a well lit space to get work done or enjoy a bite with your friends, allowing for that true "greenhouse" effect. Aside from how nice the decor is, I will say that it gets pretty busy at peak brunch hour. It was tough finding a table to sit and it felt like I was weaving between people just to pick up my drink from the front counter. I would recommend coming either earlier or later in the afternoon. Even with the crowd, though, the service was still quick and helpful! My food and drink came out fresh after only a few minutes of waiting. I will say, the prices are a little steep even for Boston and I'm not sure I'd come back here for anything besides their matcha. I really loved their soft scrambled eggs, their signature sauce, and their toasty croissant--the sandwich was cohesive and tasty. Though the food was great, it was also something you can find anywhere else, not making it worth the trip alone, unless you're planning to pair it with one of their delicious matchas. Being the highlight of their menu, their matcha is a large portion of creamy, high quality, and sweet matcha still with that signature earthy aftertaste. I would definitely recommend it if you're a matcha connoisseur like myself, it's one of the better options in the city!
When you think of a cute coffee shop with great vibes, you're thinking of this place. It's in a great location with amole seating and excellent service. They also sell various plants in the shop. I had a tasty matcha before walking over to the nearby playground.
Super generous portions. I'm so shook because this sandwich is HUGE! I ordered the Big Chic sandwich and was not expecting this much food for the price. I paid about $20 for a quick WFH lunch including the sandwich and a strawberry matcha. The aioli adds a bit more flavor to the chicken sandwich. The chicken in the sandwich is not too different from some everyday chicken tenders but I'm still so surprised one sandwich came with so much. Tater tots over fries any day for me too. Love supporting Asian-owned small businesses. The service was excellent as well-- cashier offered me a small bag without charging extra even though I didn't end up needing it. I gotta study here more!
This is a really cute cafe and super cozy! I love how they also sell plants inside. The workers were very friendly, and although it took a while to get our drinks, they were very apologetic about it and I also didn't think it was that big a deal! I tried both the matcha latte and boston salt coffee. WOW!! This is genuinely the best matcha I have ever had- it had the perfect amount of sweetness and the tiniest bit of saltiness in their creamy foam. I have never before been so impressed with my matcha. And the boston coffee was also great, even as someone who never orders coffee. It was a salty cheese foam on top with a deep coffee flavor in the drink. And I didn't get jittery from the caffeine at all! I am already thinking about the next time I'll come.
Visited Green Haus Cafe on a whim, and the moment I walked in I was captivated by the lush greenery. It's beautiful and almost enchanting -- I could have spent more time admiring each plant display like pieces of living artwork. The space is small, with about 10 tables, so you may find yourself sharing close quarters with others. The menu offers hot foods, teas, and coffees. I ordered a jasmine tea and, unfortunately, it just didn't work for me. I started with four pumps of simple syrup, later adding four more, trying to mask a soapy taste that lingered throughout. I couldn't get through it and ended up tossing it -- I decided not to force myself to drink something I truly didn't enjoy. Customer service was fine -- nothing above and beyond, but also nothing unpleasant. Just... okay. I did notice another customer step out with a drink, return shortly after, and request something to be added or changed, which made me wonder if others had similar experiences.

If the weather is nice, there are outdoor tables on the back patio too (that have umbrellas too if there is a light rain or a lot of sun). I came here with a friend with the goal of trying the matcha, and it did not disappoint! We had friendly service, and loved learning about the recommendations or new finds in the lil plant/gift section. Our drinks took about 10 minutes with a bit of a late morning rush. We sat outside and a server even brought our drinks out when they were done, which was a pleasant surprise. I got an iced matcha and my friend got a hot matcha latte. We both loved our drinks! Well prepared, not overly sweet, and not watered down. All good things! I look forward to going back and trying more of the menu. This is a place I am excited to also be in the presence of again! Green Haus Cafe is everything you want in a cafe and more!
Such a lovely little cafe filled with tons of beautiful plants. The whole space is tiny, so it can be difficult to find a seat on the weekends. Come early if you can. The service is amiable too, if you sit at the counter the baristas will make light conversation with you which is nice. I tried their Pistachio Latte and it was delicious. It had a pleasant pistachio flavor compared to most artificial flavorings. Their cupcake was mediocre though. I tried the strawberry one - it was a bit too dry and could've used more strawberry flavor throughout. Overall, I would definitely come back here though, the space is well thought out and adorable.

I really liked the strawberry matcha latte because they use a strawberry puree. It is a little on the thicker side because of the strawberries. The chai latte was good but I liked the strawberry matcha better. The cruffin was also delicious. I would definitely come back to this cafe!
It is a cute little hole in the wall with succulent decors and plants for you to purchase. I've been obsessed with the strawberry matcha and it was worth getting. It is creamy in texture and the strawberry tastes real with seeds instead of chemicals like most fruit syrups. My friend got the pistachio latte and the texture was perfect, the sweetness was good, but it had a wierd bitter aftertaste that I can't I also got the strawberry cupcake, but it wasn't as good it looked.
Highly Highly Recommend the Loaded Breakfast Sandwich here! It is customizable (you get to pick the bread and the sauce on it). I got it on a plain bagel with chipotle aoli. The scrambled eggs in the sandwich was good perfectly, very creamy and fluffy! The hashbrown in the sandwich was a great addition ad well. I also ordered an iced latte with pistachio syrup and oatmilk which was just ok, I would not get it again. The matcha lattes look good so I will try that next time! The staff was very nice and patient with me while I was deciding what to order as well! The cafe is decorated very well. Lots of plants for decoration and that you can purchase! There are cute cupcakes and pasteries you can purchase as well. There is seating, but it does get busy during the weekend. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here for the breakfast sandwich and the vibes!

The service was friendly and they delivered my order right to me. I ordered an iced matcha latte with almond milk and an almond croissant. I enjoyed the matcha latte, which had a good amount of sweetness and matcha flavor. The almond croissant was a bit tough. Overall, a welcome addition to the neighborhood! I'd definitely come back.
I continue to be obsessed with the matcha here. Best matcha in the area by far. I walk an extra 20 min because it doesn't even compare to others. Plus the interior of greenhaus is so peaceful. I recently tried their new Oreo matcha and it is INCREDIBLE. Would highly recommend if you like a sweet matcha. We went to visit Green Haus Cafe after a coworker suggested this place for their matcha lattes. They are Vietnamese + family owned! We tried two drinks, a lunch sandwich, + hash browns: - strawberry matcha latte - iced lychee jasmine tea - lil chic sandwich (maple syrup fried chicken, hash browns, & melted cheese on an English muffin) The English muffin sandwich was room temperature. Chicken patty was room temperature, guessing it is frozen store bought. So, it wasn't very satisfying to eat to be honest. But funny enough, the cajun tater tots were hot lol. (They're separate dishes that they put together in a to-go box) The drinks were decent. Not the best matcha I've had in the city. Jasmine tea taste was apparent so I liked it! It had canned lychee & lychee popping boba. Both drinks had a lot of ice. It normally takes me a while to finish a drink but I was finished with the lychee tea within a few sips. For the price, I don't personally think their drinks + food are worth it. Drinks had wayyy more ice than drink & sandwich was cold, with the exception of the hash browns being hot! Don't think I will be returning any time soon unfortunately. Really a 2.5/5 but the service was good, so I will give it a 3. read more

Nice cafe to sit and do your work. The drinks came out we ordered: Drinks 4/5 Lychee jasmine tea- lychee + lychee popping boba Strawberry Matcha Latte. I felt both drinks were made well, smooth refreshing. The matcha flavor is I'd say a level 3 on a scale of 5 for how matcha it tastes! Strawberry syrup wasn't too sweet. Would come back for drinks when in the area. Now as a preface, we did come an hour before closing time, but u wanted a snack and to try some of the food. I ordered the lil'chic sandwhich. Chicken tenders with cheddar cheese, and cajun taters. The good-- the taters were HOT, crispy and prepped well. Enjoyed this! The sandwich unfortunately was not remotely warm never mind hot. It came out below room temperature. Nice concept with the maple syrup. Tenders are the premade ones, but large and crispy. Just wish it was actually served hot. Borderline cold for my order. Since it was near the end of the day, I also didn't bother to get it remade and make the staff stay longer. We did have exit with 15 min to spare before actual closing though. This is a great spot to study and munch on delicious bagel! There are indoor and outdoor tables, perfect for any weather, and the interior is filled with plants, even some for sale. There are lots of people working/studying here, so it was relatively quiet for some time before the lunch rush. It didn't take too long for a table to open up, and there's usually some countertop seats available all the time. I tried their honey walnut bagel cream cheese and it was so sweet and creamy, such a perfect blend!! I also sipped on their iced jasmine tea, which wasn't too sweet and balanced out my bagel very well. Their tables are also super clean and their bathroom was fairly well maintained. Next time, I would love to try their crab Rangoon spread, which was sadly sold out today! read more

Food was so good here. They also sell plants, super cute cafe. The jasmine lychee tea was really good here as well. It's def not a restaurant vibe, you just go in seat yourself and order your meal. They do not tend to you. I had the loaded breakfast with the garlic aioli. Their haus aioli is like a honey mustard I guess and im not usually into honey mustard so I opted for the garlic aioli. such a cozy cafe! we came here before exploring the area and almost all the tables were filled! we ordered their lil chic breakfast sandwich, crab rangoon bagel, matcha latte, and iced green tea. their tea was delicious. just the perfect amount of tea and sweetness. their crab rangoon bagel was delicious. I was a bit skeptical at first but the combination of flavors was fantastic. we ordered it with their everything bagel, which I would say is the way to go. their lil chic was a little drier than I expected. in my opinion, everything tasted better separately, but when you put it all together in the sandwich, it was dry for my taste. overall, I would return to this cafe. they have a bunch of food items that I wanted to try and it seems like the perfect spot to study or catch up with friends. I would suggest coming earlier since it seems like their tables fill up quickly. read more

We enjoyed our time here. Came for a weekend morning date. It wasn't too hard to find a spot after ordering, and the coffee and food came out quickly. Next time I will have to try a croissant or croissant breakfast sandwich, since the pastries looked tasty. The succulent cupcakes definitely provide a wow factor, and are very on theme. My pistachio latte was wonderful, and my bf equally enjoyed his iced version. I got a bagel, which was quite soft, not the chewy texture I'm used to with a bagel. I really enjoyed the sweet strawberry cream cheese, which tasted like it was freshly made, and was tastier than any cream cheese flavor I've tasted. My bf got a breakfast burger. The atmosphere is quite relaxing- love to be around lots of plants. You can poke around to shop for plants too. read more

The moment I walked inside Green Haus Cafe, I was impressed by the layout and the number of plants decorated throughout the store. The cafe was crowded with people on a Saturday, but they had plenty more seating in the outside patio at the back. My friends and I ordered Lychee Jasmine, Mango Matcha, Boston Coconut Coffee, and Hanoi Creme Coffee. The drinks were on the pricier side for the sizes. Unfortunately, none of the drinks were that impressive. The best was probably the Lychee Jasmine, but it is not worth the price you are paying for when there is no tea flavor in the drink. All you can taste is the lychee flavoring. The most redeeming attribute of the drink is the presence of one lychee floating around in the cup. The Mango Matcha just tasted like mango. The matcha taste was overpowered completely by it. The Boston Coconut Coffee looked the best but was overly sweet. I tasted the coconut flavoring, but the coffee was nonexistent as you only taste sweet, sweet, and sweet. This drink was left unfinished as a result. The Hanoi Creme Coffee tasted okay, but it had a similar issue as the last drink. There is barely any taste of coffee as all you can taste is sweetness which got mellowed out by the milk. I had high hopes for this cafe but ended up leaving disappointed. I will go elsewhere for better drinks. read more

We came here for brunch and got the Loaded Breakfast Sandwich which comes with scrambled eggs, American cheese, smoked bacon, hash brown, avocado spread and house aioli. We also got the Haus Brunch Chic which comes with Chicken, lettuce, and tomato, brioche bun slices, with house mayo. Both dishes were amazing and the interior decor is so cute. It was so cute in here. I stayed here for quite a while bc it was a great place to get work done. Everything I bought was quite nice. I got the matcha latte with oat milk and lavender, the succulent cupcake, the French toast bagel toasted with cream cheese, and some eucalyptus bundles. I am SO excited about this new spot in Mission Hill. A literal green oasis, every plant in the cafe is actually for sale. If you look closely, there are price tags to every plant piece! They do offer some bites, but their drinks really knock it out of the park. I've been loving their iced matcha with lavender (add simple syrup!!) and their jasmine tea. The tea is straight out of northern Vietnam. You have to try it for yourself, but it's LEGIT. I'm also a huge fan of their Loaded Breakfast Sandwich with the Green Haus aioli. Easily a top contender for my fav bfast sandwich in Boston. I ask for it with the croissant and it's amazing. On the sweeter side with the sauce fyi! There's WiFi and a good amount of seating, so it's a great work from home spot. The workers are lovely and the vibes are great, excited to see what they have in store later, but for now, they are killing it! read more

The ambiance is unparalleled. There's a cozy vibe, the store isn't too loud, and it's clean. The large windows and plants are super cute, too. WiFi is pretty fast, and there are lots of students doing work there. This being said, though, I wasn't the biggest fan of the food. I got the haus chic, a fried chicken sandwich with tater tots. It looked and tasted like Tyson's frozen chicken cutlets placed on a brioche bun. The dish was quite oily, and my friend and I both didn't feel great after eating. The matcha latte was slightly better, but pretty watery. Given that this cafe is still new, hopefully the food quality will improve in the future. read more
