The minute I left the place, I knew I had to jump on here and write a review. I had never been here; but this morning at 5:30am I stopped to pick up donuts for my staff, as we were celebrating a birthday. I walked in and they greeted me so nicely! Almost too nicely for 5:30am on a Friday! But I was so thankful, they made me a wonderful iced coffee and picked me a dozen sprinkle "birthday" donuts! This is our go to donut shop. It's close by, the staff is friendly, the donuts are great, and the coffee too! We usually get it to go but there is a small amount of seating inside and outside. I don't eat donuts too often. And honestly I didn't think there could be a big difference in donuts until I tried D's. They were soft but with good consistency, even the cake ones. The best part is that a day after, they were still nice and soft to eat. I know I am not doing a very good job describing them. I think the D stands for Delicious. I remember my first D's Donuts. Someone brought about 20 boxes into St. Joseph's for a meeting, and they had too many so they started giving them out to the different departments. I had this delicious pink sprinkled delight. It was the best donut I'd ever had. I hunted down the person who got them to find out where they came from. Fast forward about 2 weeks. I went for donuts before an early wedding planning meeting. I was really impressed to see that they had some reduced sugar options as my mother-in-law is diabetic. We picked up about a dozen donuts and some low sugar treats. Boy were they a hit! This donut shops Is awesome! I've been coming here for years and the quality and price just can't be beat! Their donuts are always super fresh. I'm a huge fan of their Apple fritters. They are made fresh daily and literally the best in Anaheim hills and Yorba Linda combined, and yes I've tried them all! Sweet and crunchy on the outside and soft and appley on the inside. They usually sell out pretty quick so once in a while I call and ask to have one set aside for me, I love it for desert in the evening....actually munching on my other half of fritter that I saved from earlier as I type this lol. What can I say about this place except Damn good! My friend had some at her soon to be mother in laws house and told me I had to try her favorite donut from there. It was a marble glaze and after one bite I know I wanted to marry this donut if it were legal. I asked where she got such amazing donuts and when she told me I was shocked. It was right down the street from me. How could I have gone 7 years of living down the street and have never tried it. I am usually the one who finds all the good desert/breakfast places. Well since then, I have been going there for our donuts because I know they are fresh and if I take my son in, they will give him free samples of their donut holes which he loves. I'm particular about 3 things. Soy allergy, but these don't make me itchy. Crullers 5 stars: Craveable but small .basic cruellers are what cruellers should be. The icing on some are not. The pink icing is superficial tasting. With icing, they're too sweet for me now. I need to pre order plain ones next time. Donuts 3 1/2 stars: I really wanted to like this, but I miss the gluteny feel of a great glazed donut. Not craveable to me. Applefritters 5 stars: Craveable. My favorite donut shop in Anaheim Hills. Great place that is family owned and operated. They've been an Anaheim Hills institution for many years. They're right next to the middle school so expect mobs of kids before and after school. Donuts taste good and they make plenty of them so they don't run out of everything the way some other donut shops in the area do. They sell lots of other thing besides donuts which is good because as much as I love donuts, I don't think my doctor would be too happy with me adopting a donut diet. Good croissants, especially the ham and cheese. Also, a good selection of drinks. A slushie machine is always a plus. They also sell candy, ice cream bars, cigarettes, and lottery tickets so its a one stop shop on the way to work or on the way back home. read more

I tried their apple fritters and bear claws and I have got to give it them , they nailed it . The apple fritters here actually have some apple in it unlike most other donut stores . They would skimp out on that part for some reason and the fritter would be dry unlike here which it is not . I am sad that they no longer do marble donuts like the previous owner . That was MY FAVORITE along with how they did their glaze donuts . Despite the change in taste from the previous owner , I would say their donuts are better tasting overall . Good job ! read more

Went over here after subway next door was a huge disappointment. I got a 1/2 dozen donuts and an apple fritter. Took them home and everyone enjoyed it. I got myself a coffee which was average, but good. The customer service was excellent. It was my first time in here and the lady was very helpful.
