Zack deserves a raise just for surviving my friend's donut decision. My friend stood there for what felt like an entire season of a TV show trying to decide which keto donut to get. Zack never rushed him once--he was patient, friendly, and had a great attitude the whole time. The funniest part? My friend works out like crazy, counts every macro, and analyzes every bite... only to spend all that time deciding before finally saying, "I'll take all three." Double Dark Chocolate, Vanilla, and Chocolate changed his mind went OUTSIDE got more money for 3 more. Thanks for hooking us up & much for narrowing it down! Huge shoutout to Zack for the exceptional customer service and for making us laugh. Great employee, great energy, and amazing patience. We'll definitely be back!

This place seems to be like the In-N-Out of donuts... there's always a crowd and people are coming and going all the time. Parking: we went at night when the other businesses were closed, but I can see it being a problem during the day if the other businesses are just as busy. Service: service was quick. Unfortunately the girl behind the counter was not having a great day- not welcoming or very helpful. Ambiance: busy busy busy! Ordered seven donuts for $21.78. Tried four of them. My personal review: *Raised crumb- 2/5 it wasn't really crumb, more like sugar. *Chocolate glazed- 4/5 Chocolate was rich *Chocolate cake donut with sprinkles- 4/5 donut itself was yummy but the sprinkles were a bit too crunchy *plain glazed-5/5 probably my favorite. The glaze had a nutty/ coffee flavor to it- yummo In all this place wasnt bad, but it wasn't the greatest. Plus side are the hours this establishment has.
A doughnut-lovers paradise! Upon entering, you see racks and racks and a clean display of their doughnuts. They have a variety of flavors, shapes, and glazes. While the price is bit higher than your standard bakery, the quality in each bite is worth it. I ended up going with the doughnut holes, ube custard, original mochi, blueberry. All so good and decadent! The staff is knowledgeable of best sellers and give good suggestions as well. The most interesting out them were the ube custard; vibrant, deep color of purples, creamy ube custard filling, complementing the like airy cake like dough. Can't go wrong with any option here!
These donuts are so delicious! We haven't been here in a year and we made sure that our drive included a stop to get these donuts! The gluten free are my go to and are super moist, flavorful, and addicting. We even ventured to try the vegan cinnamon roll. The vegan roll is just as delicious! Thank you for the wonderful service and yummy donuts!
Went in during National doughnut day to try this place out. The place was simple and very welcoming. The people greeted me as soon as I came in. The employee that helped me was very polite and helpful on trying to figure out what to get. I honestly came in for just a couple, but left with so many more! The classic raised glazed was pretty good. The texture of the doughnuts were overall not dense and overall fairly fluffy. A couple were a little doughy, but most were good. The glaze was not too sweet which is nice. Most flavors were solid. This place is known for their Malassadas and I can confirm they are delicious. I haven't had too many in my life, but I can definitely tell when a place has their specialty! Service 8.5/10 Food 7/10 Overall 7.5/10
Co worker brought Donuttery to the office yesterday. Solid move. One of the best donut shops in the county. Had to show some love and respect. Their vegan options are also phenomenal. Cheers BIG EARS
Ironically, I don't really like donuts because I don't like heavy, doughy textures. But, I did try their Gluten-Free Pandan Donut. Guess what? It was so light and delicious! The Pandan frosting was good with light sprinkles and 1 was perfect. My daughter ordered their Jalapeno Cheese Bagel with cream cheese halfed and it too was light and crispy. We enjoyed and now know what to get when there.
Bowling in a travel league has its perks and the league always brings in donuts and this weekend, the donuts are from here! These are very good donuts. The yeast donut was light and airy with a little chew. Fabulous way to allocate daily calorie intake. Please come and create your own adventure.

Now, I feel like they directly hit my blood sugar like an atom bomb and always result in me feeling like a bucket of crud after. So when I was told I should visit The Donuttery, I wasn't *that* excited about it, but I ended up making my way over after all. I wasn't even really hungry, but I knew I needed to put some sustenance in my belly before ingesting donuts, because that's a recipe for maximum crudness. So I ordered the bacon burrito as just kind of the best option available. And that freaking bacon burrito was actually awesome. You gotta love when you find a happy accident like that. I just kept eating it despite not even being hungry. And then came the donuts. I asked what the most popular items where, and was told that the malasadas were, so I grabbed a couple of those, a mochi, something with coconut shavings and a couple other random ones. Most of these were amazing. Especially the malasadas (she was right). I really had no belly room left, especially after eating most of the burrito, but there was no way I was going to just leave the uneaten donuts in our hotel room, so I took the little bag they give you for ice, and threw them in my backpack. Many hours later, in my kitchen in Texas, I inhaled those bad boys and didn't regret one second of it. If I ever hear of anyone going to the area, this will be at the top of my recommendation list. As a matter of fact, I just did exactly this earlier today. Why 5 stars?
Delicious! Saw this donut food truck at the Vegan Street Fair in Westwood during CicLAvia. They had an array of vegan donuts. We got the cinnamon roll, apple bear claw, and 2 glazed donuts to eat after I bike ride. The service was fast and friendly, just how I like it! Another thing I like...delicious, fluffy donuts that aren't too sugary. These were great and I hope to see them at another festival in LA.
I love a good ham and cheese croissant! The ham&cheese, jalepeno croissants here are delicious. The jalepenos are baked right in, and there is a ton of cheese to ham ratio. Get them fresh, if not ask them to warm it up for you. Croissant is comparable to Seaside. Service is fast and friendly. Store is quite tidy and all the accompaniments for your coffee and more are all on the table at the center of the store.

24 hour donuts with a huge variety! Not only do they serve the traditional gut busting donuts but they have a large variety of specialty donuts such as vegan, gluten free, and keto. Traditional wise their apple fritters are sinfully delicious and will knock a few years off your life. Glazed cinnamon roll shaped donut thing is delicious too. The Keto donuts are pretty tasty but I didn't enjoy them as much as Niya Bakery or Keto Bakery. Service is friendly and there's plenty of seating and parking. Great place for you around the clock donut cravings! read more

Once in a while when I'm in the area, I'll stop by The Donuttery for a sweet treat. I think it's a little overpriced, but they do have good fancy donuts, so once in a while is fine. On my last visit, I got the zucchini bread. I really like their zucchini bread because it's really moist and not too sweet. Each order comes with 2 slices for $5.75 plus tax. The zucchini bread tasted good, but it fell apart pretty quickly, so I think I may have gotten a batch that wasn't baked properly. When I do get donuts, I usually go for the chocolate Long Johns or the custard malasadas. Both are tasty! read more

Come here quite often. However, last Monday morning I came and got like 10 mochi donuts, and all of them were dry not like usual. Looks like they tried to save some money and sold us the old batch. Almost $5 for 1 donut, they should have done better and not be so greedy like that. read more

If you're in the neighborhood definitely stop by and grab a treat for yourself. They have tons of options from standard old fashioned and kruellers to mochi, and gluten free options. We sampled a few and my favorite was the glazed old fashioned and blueberry cake. Oh, but the chocolate chocolate cake was rich with frosting! We sampled the croissant donut holes which were a delight. They have a non stop stream of customers, thankfully they're open 24/7. read more

The donuts were all so delicious! This was our first time stopping in and we received service pretty quickly. We wished we would've received more care with our order and didn't feel so rushed when picking the flavors and asking what they recommended. The place was busy and you could tell the regulars were greeted with a much happier tone than us non-regulars. The ambiance felt less about customer experience and more about getting your order completed and moving to the next online/in-person order. We also ended up spending almost $60 for 6 - mochi donuts & 6 - gluten free donuts, however, all in all the donuts were yummy and we're glad we stopped by while in the Huntington Beach area. read more
First time here. Luckily, I was in the area so decided to try them out. Unfortunately, I love donuts. Cute little shop. Very clean and just a wall of donuts to choose from... I was almost overwhelmed. I took one star off because they young girls behind the counter were anything but helpful, almost appearing like they were working there by force, dishing quite a bit of indifference and eye-rolls with the donuts. Luckily, the older lady was very pleasant and happy, so it somewhat balanced out. Now... let's get to these donuts. On a whim, I ordered a couple of their gluten-free options. Traditional chocolate cake w frosting and then a white cake with TOFFEE topping! My 4-year old demolished the chocolate one, begrudgingly letting me take a small taste. I ate the toffee one- O.M.G. So good and you would never guess there's something missing. I would eat again anytime. I also ordered the "crème brûlée" version regular donut (see pic)... initiallyI thought, "so small "... but good things come in small packages! I love crème brûlée- but in donut form? It was utterly heaven... I had to eat it slowly to enjoy each tasty bite. I didn't even mind the icing falling on me... remnants of my experience! I will be back. There's so many to choose from that I think I should try them all! read more
I am still on the hunt or a good apple fritter donut. We were in the santa ana area and realized that this donut place had some good reviews and vegan options too. I had the apple fritter and blueberry donut Both were very good donuts. Apple fritter had pieces of apples inside and a nice crunchy texture on the outside and soft inside. I do wish there was a tad more pieces of apples. Blueberry donut moist and flavorful. Not too sweet and just really nice bounce to the donut. Service was fast and friendly. Chocolate lover's dream. This 24-hour donut shop is filled with FRESH donuts. Service is so quick and friendly. The donuts are absolutely delicious. The blueberry and chocolate donuts were about $3 per and the chocolate chip bar one is $4. We devoured these. Note: They have a ton of vegan donuts!!! read more

I was first introduced to The Donuttery about 10 years ago. I fell in love with their blueberry donut. It was something I never had before and was so scrumptious. This was a nice delightful treat that my manager would bring in to the office every once in a while. When I was in the area, I would pop in and treat myself to some donuts and share with my coworkers and family so that I wouldn't feel guilty eating it by myself. I recently stopped by after an appointment and I was not surprised that the prices have increased significantly compared to past years. There was no major sticker shock before when I picked up a dozen of donuts. That's OK, I should cut down anyway. I'll just pick up a half a dozen next time. read more
A fun spot for donuts with a very large variety that includes malasadas. The parking lot is on the smaller side, but there's still a decent amount of spots available. There's very limited counter seating available inside. They have a large variety of donut options and they also have several gluten free flavors. The service is quick and they're able to keep the line moving fairly quickly. We ordered one of each of their different malasada flavors they're a little bit more on the dense side and it can be difficult to tell which is which from the outside. I enjoyed the guava malasada the most. It had the most flavorful filling and was closer to a jelly consistency on the inside. The pistachio, vanilla, and passion fruit flavors were more of a lighter whipped cream like consistency inside. These were on the sweeter side and had more of an artificial flavor. The malasadas were good but I'd like to go back and try more of their regular donut options next time as well. read more
It's been years since the last time I came to the Donuttery. I had good memories of the food and donuts so when I was in the vicinity, I decided to swing by. Kind of a mistake. It was after 10 on a Wednesday night and the place was fully packed. That seemed like a good, if annoying, sign. Luckily, they had two registers going so the line went pretty quickly. My standby donut order is blueberry cake donut so I ordered two of those, then I looked around. The place had been given an overhaul of sorts since my previous visit about 7 years ago. Gone was the family-run ramshackle look. In its place is a sleek design concept. Way fewer tables to sit and eat, which led to all the people loitering around inside and outside, standing and eating from paper bags. The outside people with no place to go sit made it hard to park as some were standing in or very close to parking spots. Removing tables was a bad idea. I think there might have been like 2 tables but there were so many people standing around inside and out, I didn't get a good look. Anyway, I also looked at the racks of donuts to see what else I would like to order. I saw a whipped cream-filled yeast donut that looked good so I got that and ordered an apple fritter sight unseen. Boy, I wish I had seen it before I bought it. That fritter was burned to heck and greasy greasy greasy. It's a donut, I expect greasiness but the burned aspect of it made it absorb so much extra oil. It was a disgusting mess. One of my blueberry cake donuts was also burned. And the whipped cream donut had a terrible plasticky chocolate coating. Those 4 donuts also cost me $15. What is going on here?? Before my return, I was sad I live too far to come to the Donuttery often but now I'm glad to for it. I'm sad about the downfall of this once great place. I came to The Donuttery for the first time and it was like a kid in a candy shop. Back home in San Diego, we have hardly any good donut shops. They either are mid or they close early. I was so excited to see the variety of donuts in size and flavors and they are open 24 hours!!! I was selecting a few donuts and the gentlemen assisting me mentioned it would be cheaper to get a dozen. Just great customer service! He was patient and explained each donut flavor I had inquired about. 2 days later, I'm still eating donuts and I can't tell you how fresh they still taste. Most donuts lose their freshness by the next day but the quality The Donuttery is giving, is top tier. A must stop!!! Can't wait to make it back! read more
I rarely make it to The Donuttery, but after going out of my way to make a stop here to ensure a Vegan donut for one of the members of a party, I remembered why this place is so popular. There was a line out the door when we arrived, but they get through it quickly. There are a good three or four employees helping customers at any given time. They have a lot of Vegan options and GF options along with your regular donuts. They keep everything separated and safe. The staff member even bagged the Vegan malasada I ordered to make sure it did not get mixed up with the regular donuts, which was appreciated. I ordered seven other malasadas for the upcoming party. They had made flavors on those alone consisting of Nutella, ube, vanilla custard, guava, and passion fruit. I decided to get four extra donuts for us to have at home apart from the party and it was hard to make a decision. We went with two chocolate bars, a sprinkled donut and a strawberry donut. Prices are a little steep, $27.49 for a fancier dozen, but donuts, like everything else, seem to be inflated. The donuts are larger and thicker than a lot of other donut shops, and the flavor was on point. The donuts were far from dry too. Hopefully the next time I have a wild craving for donuts I will be near The Donuttery. It's too hard to just pick a couple. read more

If you're looking for a donut shop with endless options - this is your spot. From the classics, to new twists, vegan and gluten free, they have it all. Plus, averaging $3 a donut is an awesome deal compared to anywhere else in the country with this level of variety and quality. The staff is extremely helpful and patience as we asked questions and their opinion on the their favorites. We ended up getting a 6 different donuts and they were all top notch. (The guy who took our order even threw in an extra donut for free since we were going back and forth of what to choose) We ended up eating the donuts over two days and they were still fresh on day two. My favorite donut shop to date and will be looking for an excuse to come back and try more! read more

Let me tell you a sad story. Two of my most favorite donuts in the world are the French Cruller and the Apple Fritter. I went to The Donuttery at a recommendation of my boyfriend, he kept saying that it was pretty good. I ordered the french cruller and the apple fritter there today, and I was honestly disappointed. The apple fritter was a bit burnt, and was not moist at all like any of the local shops that I've been to. The french cruller, which I was surprised that they even had in the first place, was not good either. I greatly preferred the Dunkin Donuts french cruller to this place. I really wish that I could have said that this place had met my expectations as the greeting of the large racks of donuts right in view looked amazing, yet I was disappointed. read more
$22 for 5 donuts and a muffin...what?? So worth it though! My husband is a donut connoisseur, always looking for a donut shop whatever city we are in. I dont mind it a bit, its hard to just choose 1, especially here. The donuts are big and beautiful. Hubby never really strays from his regular buttermilk, old fashioned cruellers, and cronuts. On the occasion he'll get a filled donut. As for me, I like the red velvet, chocolate or filled. Also maple glazed. Depends on my mood. This time hubby got a cream cheese muffin. That was heavenly! So soft and firm if that makes sense with a light cream cheese filling. That could be a new favorite if they keep it. All the donuts are exactly how you expect them to be. Soft and delicious. Except for the buttermilk and old fashioned. They're supposed to be firm outside and podcast like inside.. Introduced this place to out of town family, and they also enjoy it. Beautifully crafted donuts and more. I usually make this shop a stop when celebrating a birthday or any event at work. Donuts are always a hit no matter what flavors I bring back, although the co-workers enjoy the Bacon Maple Bar the most. Staff are always friendly and cheerful. read more
Donuttery has honestly gone downhill from where it used to be :( it's on the pricier side for donuts and honestly not worth heading there unless you're really craving donuts late night. (Got 8 donuts for $36, they were specialty so I get it - the quality was just not there) I got the red velvet with cream cheese, blueberry, maple bar and some more assortments for the family. I had the red velvet with cream cheese - the donut itself was so dry and dense, while the frosting was super sweet with barely any taste of cream cheese. The maple bar was okay, but the maple glaze was insanely thick - one of the thickest I've ever seen - and I typically order maple bars at any donut shops I go to. Blueberry donut was the best tasting one I had, crispy and not too sweet. Inside the store there's lots of seating and wifi for students wanting to study. We were helped quickly by the team there. read more

We make them basically throughout the day based on availability, no fixed schedule, it varies. After frying, malasadas have to be cooled in order to fill them with creams and jelly filled. If you are shipping them, it is best to ship them next day…

Hi! Thank you for the feedback. We use coconut, almond flour, and some monk fruit sweetener. For the frosting, it is stevia-sweetened semi-sweet chocolate and stevia-sweetened white chocolate.
