Co worker brought Donuttery to the office yesterday. Solid move. One of the best donut shops in the county. Had to show some love and respect. Their vegan options are also phenomenal. Cheers BIG EARS

Bowling in a travel league has its perks and the league always brings in donuts and this weekend, the donuts are from here! These are very good donuts. The yeast donut was light and airy with a little chew. Fabulous way to allocate daily calorie intake. Please come and create your own adventure.

Not only does this place has the best selection of donuts in OC but the have the best lox bagel as well. They give you lots and I mean lots of salmon and they don't skimp on the cream cheese either. My go to place when I want a Lox bagel

Why 5 stars? Because despite growing out of my donut phase, I really loved these. --- --- --- When I was younger, I could eat donuts with the best of them. Now, I feel like they directly hit my blood sugar like an atom bomb and always result in me feeling like a bucket of crud after. So when I was told I should visit The Donuttery, I wasn't *that* excited about it, but I ended up making my way over after all. I wasn't even really hungry, but I knew I needed to put some sustenance in my belly before ingesting donuts, because that's a recipe for maximum crudness. So I ordered the bacon burrito as just kind of the best option available. And that freaking bacon burrito was actually awesome. You gotta love when you find a happy accident like that. I just kept eating it despite not even being hungry. And then came the donuts. I asked what the most popular items where, and was told that the malasadas were, so I grabbed a couple of those, a mochi, something with coconut shavings and a couple other random ones. Most of these were amazing. Especially the malasadas (she was right). I really had no belly room left, especially after eating most of the burrito, but there was no way I was going to just leave the uneaten donuts in our hotel room, so I took the little bag they give you for ice, and threw them in my backpack. Many hours later, in my kitchen in Texas, I inhaled those bad boys and didn't regret one second of it. If I ever hear of anyone going to the area, this will be at the top of my recommendation list. As a matter of fact, I just did exactly this earlier today. Why 5 stars?

If you're in the neighborhood definitely stop by and grab a treat for yourself. They have tons of options from standard old fashioned and kruellers to mochi, and gluten free options. We sampled a few and my favorite was the glazed old fashioned and blueberry cake. Oh, but the chocolate chocolate cake was rich with frosting! We sampled the croissant donut holes which were a delight. They have a non stop stream of customers, thankfully they're open 24/7.

The store is almost always busy but they always have a great variety of selection of yummy donuts! It's a small chill spot to enjoy a quick coffee n donuts. I love all of these different donuts I tried and not pricey at all!

I love a good ham and cheese croissant! The ham&cheese, jalepeno croissants here are delicious. The jalepenos are baked right in, and there is a ton of cheese to ham ratio. Get them fresh, if not ask them to warm it up for you. Croissant is comparable to Seaside. Service is fast and friendly. Store is quite tidy and all the accompaniments for your coffee and more are all on the table at the center of the store.

Chocolate lover's dream. This 24-hour donut shop is filled with FRESH donuts. Service is so quick and friendly. The donuts are absolutely delicious. The blueberry and chocolate donuts were about $3 per and the chocolate chip bar one is $4. We devoured these. Note: They have a ton of vegan donuts!!!

I am still on the hunt or a good apple fritter donut. We were in the santa ana area and realized that this donut place had some good reviews and vegan options too. I had the apple fritter and blueberry donut Both were very good donuts. Apple fritter had pieces of apples inside and a nice crunchy texture on the outside and soft inside. I do wish there was a tad more pieces of apples. Blueberry donut moist and flavorful. Not too sweet and just really nice bounce to the donut. Service was fast and friendly. There are seats inside and out.

It's been years since the last time I came to the Donuttery. I had good memories of the food and donuts so when I was in the vicinity, I decided to swing by. Kind of a mistake. It was after 10 on a Wednesday night and the place was fully packed. That seemed like a good, if annoying, sign. Luckily, they had two registers going so the line went pretty quickly. My standby donut order is blueberry cake donut so I ordered two of those, then I looked around. The place had been given an overhaul of sorts since my previous visit about 7 years ago. Gone was the family-run ramshackle look. In its place is a sleek design concept. Way fewer tables to sit and eat, which led to all the people loitering around inside and outside, standing and eating from paper bags. The outside people with no place to go sit made it hard to park as some were standing in or very close to parking spots. Removing tables was a bad idea. I think there might have been like 2 tables but there were so many people standing around inside and out, I didn't get a good look. Anyway, I also looked at the racks of donuts to see what else I would like to order. I saw a whipped cream-filled yeast donut that looked good so I got that and ordered an apple fritter sight unseen. Boy, I wish I had seen it before I bought it. That fritter was burned to heck and greasy greasy greasy. It's a donut, I expect greasiness but the burned aspect of it made it absorb so much extra oil. It was a disgusting mess. One of my blueberry cake donuts was also burned. And the whipped cream donut had a terrible plasticky chocolate coating. Those 4 donuts also cost me $15. What is going on here?? Before my return, I was sad I live too far to come to the Donuttery often but now I'm glad to for it. I'm sad about the downfall of this once great place. Staff was still nice so that's a plus.

YESSSS these donuts are elite! Soo many options to choose from, the place is clean and relaxing, and service is friendly and patient! It was soooo hard choosing which donuts I wanted lol, but I ended up finally deciding on "chocolate chip bar, Nutella, Glazed, Oreo, and Blueberry"! They are sooo big and sooo delicious! Also tried the butterscotch iced latte, soo good!

A fun spot for donuts with a very large variety that includes malasadas. The parking lot is on the smaller side, but there's still a decent amount of spots available. There's very limited counter seating available inside. They have a large variety of donut options and they also have several gluten free flavors. The service is quick and they're able to keep the line moving fairly quickly. We ordered one of each of their different malasada flavors they're a little bit more on the dense side and it can be difficult to tell which is which from the outside. I enjoyed the guava malasada the most. It had the most flavorful filling and was closer to a jelly consistency on the inside. The pistachio, vanilla, and passion fruit flavors were more of a lighter whipped cream like consistency inside. These were on the sweeter side and had more of an artificial flavor. The malasadas were good but I'd like to go back and try more of their regular donut options next time as well.

Any dairy free, gluten free, and keto donut? As in all this in one.

No, I asked about a keto gluten free but all they have is gluten free. It is SO good!

Just tried the new Keto donut. It was DELICIOUS, which brings me to my question. What sweetener is used in place of sugar? Also what flour type. Just trying to decipher the macros. Thanks love them!

Hi! Thank you for the feedback. We use coconut, almond flour, and some monk fruit sweetener. For the frosting, it is stevia-sweetened semi-sweet chocolate and stevia-sweetened white chocolate.

    Is there currently outdoor seating?

No, they only do takeout in person or order online takeout or delivery.

It's a pulled chicken sandwich that is absolutely delicious--honestly, it's the most unique "actual" sandwich you can get in the area. The Perfect Order: * The Build: You have to get it on Dutch Crunch bread with no tomato. * The Flavor: The Dutch Crunch is amazing, especially with the honey on it. The sandwich itself is almost like a chicken sloppy joe--it's bomb. * The Perks: I love that they still include those little caramel apple suckers with the order. It's a signature touch that I hope they never stop doing. * Rewards: Their point system is very favorable. I frequently get free drinks, chips, or discounts on my sandwiches. The Critiques: * Ingredients: Like a few other spots, this one makes me feel a bit "off" afterward. Since the meat is tossed in sauce and they add more to the bread, I suspect there might be some MSG involved. * Pricing: Things are getting expensive across the board, and I feel like most places--this one included--are overcharging by about $3. Five stars would only be achievable if the pricing was more reasonable. Final Thoughts: Despite the price and the "food coma" afterward, the #111 is too good to pass up. It's a solid four-star experience every time.

It was a late lunch so I called to see if a reservation is needed for 2 ppl. Not at all so we jumped into the car. Such a wonderful restaurant in an unassuming plaza. Lots of parking. There's an outdoor seating area and a good size restaurant inside. We were greeted as we walked in. Btw, the HUGE glass door entrance, I love. There Were a few open tables and we were welcome to sit where we wanted to. Two classes of water were brought to the table and a waiter came with the menu. My mom is vegetarian and I am not. I asked the waiter for his vegetarian dishes and he provided me a pasta dish. That was exactly what my Mom was wanting. Linguine with a light pink sauce with mushrooms and you can add zucchini, bell pepper and broccoli. I ordered a sangria. That was just amazing itself. And a linguine dish with shrimp. Warm, sliced French bread and a small dish of butter was brought out first that was so good. Usually the bread and butter that is brought at small restaurants like these could be just mediocre or not good at all. This was warm and just tasty. We also ordered a Caprese. The plate came out with big chunks of mozzarella tomatoes, and both were sitting on a marinated pesto covered set of basil leaves. That was so good. The combination of the vinaigrette, mozzarella basil tomato pesto was exactly what we were looking for so refreshing. Our entrées were huge for $20 a plate. We had to take 3/4 of it home. That was so not expected. Pasta and the pasta sauce were amazing. Very freshly made. Dishes were made to order only and not sitting around. I asked if they were doing something special for birthdays and I pointed to my mom next to you know, the waiter came out with fresh homemade Tim. They also sing to my mom wish she was so sweet. I am loving this place and will be coming back. Thank you so much for the staff for making my mom feel so wonderful on her birthday. The food was amazing Services amazing. The parking is easy in a small shopping center,, we didn't even need to use Pym particles to shrink the car to fit into a spot. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so we chose outdoor seating, so we could dine in alfresco and the service was excellent. Both the main server and her assistant consistently checked in on us and made sure our drinks were filled. Service is very friendly and they basically had Spidey-sense for exactly when we needed refills. We ordered their chef special steak, which is an Argentinian grilled ribeye, but with an Italian sauce. We also ordered the shrimp, which is also a fusion of Argentinian and Italian. The flavor team-up was so good it felt like Tony Stark and Bruce Banner working together in the lab. For an appetizer, we got an empanada. This is one of the best empanadas we've had, as the crust was very airy and crispy, but not heavy and overly dense. Excellent texture and flavor,, honestly mighty enough to lift Thor's hammer tbh. Also, ordered Argentinian sausages. Excellent texture and bold flavor. It may not have a spicy kick as an Italian sausage, but quality meat and insides. Dr Strange would happily take us on a tour inside and out of this sausage with his yellow portal openers. Oh wait, we are the sausages, so guess he can't. Interestingly, enough, we didn't think that bread could be so excellent! We are big fans of French and Vietnamese style baguettes that are slightly crispy on the outside, but very light on the inside. The bread here was crispy on the outside, but also light and a little chewy on the inside, but in the best way possible. So it has its own flare and flavor. We asked, and they indeed bake this in-house, and you could definitely tell! They mentioned that they make their sandwiches with this baguette bread that is baked on premise and in-house, so we will definitely have to come back and try it again. That bread is basically the reality Infinity Stone of the menu. Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent ambience! Kinda as relaxing as chilling at the Avengers compound after a long mission.

Their claim to fame, the strawberry croissants, taste as spectacular, light, crispy, airy, and deliciously subtle and fruity as much as the original location. The main problem is they definitely seem to have way less stock on hand, and things can sell out fast. I had to come back another day for my favorite item of theirs, the rusk - extremely light and crunchy bites of buttery sugared mini toast. I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful. I love that they carry bulk platters of their strawberry croissant and have them displayed right as you enter. They also have various other desserts and pastries, even some savory sandwiches and sushi, packaged goods, and coffee. I'm here pretty much just for their strawberry croissants and rusk, though their other items seem nice if you want goods for a convenient picnic.

You don't need to fly to the East Coast to get a legit lobster roll. This place nailed it…read more We tried the Clobster roll which is a mix of crab and lobster, the Cali truffle roll, lobster bisque, clam chowder, lobster pasta, and the lobster mac and cheese. Washed it all down with their fresh bottled lemonade in strawberry and regular. First thing, the bread. So good. It honestly tastes like it's baked fresh daily and that alone makes a difference. Second, they are not stingy with the lobster. Every bite actually has lobster in it, not just filler. Everything was rich, fresh, and super satisfying. The bisque and chowder were the perfect add ons and the pasta and mac and cheese just took it over the top. The vibe is really cute too. It gives under the sea meets Fisherman's Wharf. Easy location, friendly staff, and they even have coloring contests for kids which is such a nice touch. Highly recommend if you're craving a solid lobster roll without leaving Orange County. We'll definitely be back.

Service was good and there's a decent amount of seating inside with cute little marine themed decor. Lobster roll combo with the soup ($32) - I got the Maine style (cold) lobster roll which had really good flavor and the amount of lobster was really nice. I wish they pushed the lobster down into the roll a little more instead of stacking it on top to make it look fuller because it made it a lot harder to eat. The side salad was okay. I liked the clam chowder a lot. Fries and tater tots were perfectly crispy! Flaming hot lobster fries ($25): This feels a bit overpriced for what it is and kind of lackluster. Fries were good and crispy but the cheese wasn't melted well. Lobster is thrown on there and I think it would be better with cheeto dust versus the random cheetos thrown on top. Fish tacos ($15): You get three tacos which is decent pricing. The fish was crispy and flavor is basic but good. All in all, a good spot to get your lobster roll fix without having to drive too far!
