A solid donut/coffee/drinks/lunch and breakfast sandwich place. I've been here a few times, but now I'm in the neighborhood more often, so this might be more regular for me. Donuts are pretty dang good, and I base that strictly on the maple bar, which is how I measure a good donut shop. The maple bar here works. Maybe a little thin on the maple (you can tell it's dipped and not frosted), but it's still tasty. I like donuts that are softer in the middle, and this one fit the bill. I also tried their blueberry donut, another measurable of mine, and it passed the test that I would get it again. I've also had a bagel sandwich, and it was what I expected. It was warmed to the perfect temperature, which I appreciated not having to wait for it to cool down. They have a few tables in front so you can eat outside and sell lottery tickets if you want to play a few scratchers while you're there. The people were friendly enough, but I wouldn't call them warm and fuzzy. Although a regular came in after I did, they were very friendly with him since they knew him. read more

I originally discovered D's Donuts in 2000. The owner at the time (Candi) was a gem. Always kind and even slipped you a few donut holes. The customer base derived of many locals. Sadly, I learned that about five years ago, ownership changed. Values and respect and honesty seemed to have went with the previous owner. I was charged 13% tax on a cash transaction! If the donuts weren't so dense, perhaps that would make the high tax rate worth it. What an absolute shame! read more

We discovered this gem of a donut spot while randomly looking for breakfast and was not disappointed! We love supporting family-owned businesses and the employees that work there are super friendly and kind. The shop is located in a shopping complex next to Big Lots so there's plenty of parking available. I ordered the tuna melt and chocolate iced donut. The tuna croissant was delicious! There were fresh lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles inside so I got a satisfying crunch from the vegetables while also enjoying the savory tuna salad and flaky croissant. For the chocolate iced donut, the dough was light and airy inside. I honestly did not expect anything but ended up being super impressed by their quality. We confirmed with the cashier that they do not use any whole eggs in their dough so their donuts are vegan. The donut shop itself is intimate inside with limited amount of seating. They also have a table outside to sit at as well. I saw that several people seemed like regulars, always a good sign of an excellent establishment. Whipped air in the shape of a donut. Light, fluffy, super moist, and soft. You don't even feel guilty having one of these because honestly it's just air...sweet sugary yummy fat-free air. It's like delicately fried cotton candy, melt in your mouth deliciousness. I haven't been to D's Donuts in a couple of years. I walked in to discover that it must be under new ownership, complete with a reconfiguration/remodel. Normally, new ownership means some sort of decline. Not here, friends, not here. I'd venture to say that there's been a significant upgrade. Much more personal and friendly service. Donuts might have improved as well. I've been coming to D's Donuts since adolescence, so it's quite the endorsement to say that the new owners have made D's even better! D's offers THE best classic donuts in the area. Personally, I think they knock Krispy Kreme out of the park! I came in there for two dozen donuts this morning. I asked them for two Boston cream doughnuts added to the boxes along with two jelly donuts. We only got one Boston cream doughnut out of the floor. I asked them not to put coconut in the box because there was an allergy and they decided to do that anyways, so have the employees to my job could not even enjoy the treats we brought. We've tried to call them. They won't answer the phone and when they did. They wanted to come to my job to pick up the donuts and take them away if I wanted a refund for anything. highly disappointed read more

This place is the best for breakfast treats, sandwiches, bagels, croissants and coffee. First of all, their donuts are classic and amazing. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I love that they have sprinkle donut holes too, because I don't see that often. My other favorite things are their breakfast sandwiches. I love the #8 which is a fresh croissant with ham, bacon, egg and cheese (pictured). Their croissants are out of this world!!! And I think this is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. I got disappointed though cause I was salivating on some of their cute looking donuts on Yelp but when I arrived, all the donuts looked so ordinary.
