I loved Helen's service she's super kind and welcoming. She was ready for us as soon as we walked in and made sure we had the best experience. Every time I come in, she has a smile on her face, even when it gets a little loud and busy. She's always so kind!

I just came here for a little Sunday pick me up, we got 4 donuts 2 ham and cheese croissant one with jalapeños , and a Vietnamese coffee all for under $25. We sat inside to enjoy our warmed up croissants and it was so delicious paired with the Vietnamese coffee. If you want a little spice try the one with jalapeños! Then we bit into our donuts and it was amazing. Fluffy and not overly sweet. The chocolate cream filled one was my favorite but I also tried the raspberry filled one with a glaze top and it was delicious! My go to donut is the chocolate topping with peanuts 10/10. It's a cute little donut shop on the corner of Brookhurst and Lincoln. They have a few tables inside. I saw their menu has breakfast deals smoothies and much more besides donuts and coffee. While being in there, a man came in maybe under the influence demanding ice and they handled the situation in a calming matter to make the other customers feel safe and comfortable to prevent the man from getting further agitated as he already was before coming in. I'd definitely recommend stopping by here for an affordable treat!

The only donut shop my kids will eat! They seriously have the most delicious and always fresh donuts. The staff is super friendly and always makes my daughters feel special. I can always get my kids out of the house on time when I bribe them with a trip to Granny's. (Just gotta make sure I have cash first)

This place was open late on Saturday night. They close at 9pm so I made it just in time for a quick dessert and it was so worth it! I can't remember how many donuts we got but the total was $8.50 which isn't bad for a few yummy donuts. The guy behind the counter was super nice. There wasn't much to choose from since it was late but what they did have was really good. I do plan on returning. I'm a happy customer. *Edit: I forgot to mention, this place is cash only!

Rule #1 DONUTS ARE ALWAYS FRESH regardless of the time of day! Always. And THAT is why I stay going there. I've been going to this donut shop for about 30 years. The current owners are the sweetest. They always have fun things for holidays and seasons. Blueberry glaze is 10/10

CASH ONLY - ATM INSIDE Came here on a slow Monday afternoon for a quick pick-me-up after a friend suggested this donut shop in Orange County. This friend is always on point with her food and drink recommendations, so I didn't take the recommendation lightly; I was off to the races. I had another Yelp event at Hapa cupcakes in Fullerton, so this Brookhurst / Anaheim location of Granny's donuts was perfectly en route on my way back home! There seem to be other locations in Orange County, one in Garden Grove and another in Costa Mesa. I wanted to try the basics first, so I gave the raised powdered sugar and brown sugar crumble donuts, which were just $1 each! Added a milk tea with boba which was prepared in a flash and I was ready to go in a jiffy. The donuts were airy and fluffy and I had sugar all over my face the moment I sat down in my car (no, one donut didn't make it home). The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly, and smiling (mask was on, but I could still tell :D) and would definitely return here again soon! Shout out to HELEN for being AMAZING and nice chatting with ya! I'm sure I'll be back to satisfy my sweet tooth soon enough.

Excellent customer service and tasty donuts! I called to place an order for four dozen valentines themed donuts and they had them all ready to go as soon as I arrived. Thank you so much!

Not even a real bagel and very little cream cheese for what I'm assuming was $4-$5!!

I heard about…read morethis place from coworkers and TikTok but every time I drove past there's ALWAYS a long line and didn't want to wait that long. It's a small mom and pop donut shop with a drive-thru, it's a bit dark and inconspicuous, especially at 4 am when I went. I ordered 3 of their blueberry donuts with a Vietnamese ice coffee. The donuts were fresh and warm with a nice blueberry flavor, extremely delicious. So they definitely live up to the hype! The donut itself weren't overly cakey and had a nice crunch to them due to the glaze that's over them but still very soft on the inside. However, the Vietnamese iced coffee was just okay as the coffee flavor wasn't strong enough and it tasted like a regular iced coffee with cream. Also, I wished the ice was crushed instead of cubed. You're off getting better Vietnamese iced coffee from 7 leaves or any other place. Maybe I had a bad batch so try it you may like it. Regardless, I won't be coming here for the iced coffee just the donuts. The gentleman taking my order was very nice and so sweet. He was quite welcoming and so happy, we had up a very small conversation. I think he may have been the only one working that morning so it took a little longer than expected like 7-10 minutes but I am not complaining as the donuts I believe are made to order and I was also the only one in the drive-thru line so I didn't feel too bad. I will definitely be back! I would like try more of their donuts and maybe a different drink.

I'd always heard about Randy's Donuts, so while I was at the Anaheim Packing House for dinner, I…read morefinally decided to see what all the hype was about. I picked up a small assortment so I could get a good feel for what they offer. Before I even got to the donuts, I have to ask: why does the box have four holes in it? I understand it's probably meant to resemble donut holes, but it seems like an odd design choice. For donuts that aren't exactly cheap, I'd rather have a box that keeps them fresh than one with decorative cutouts. Now for the donuts: Chocolate Raised: The donut itself was surprisingly light, airy, and soft with a nice chew. The texture was exactly what I want from a raised donut. The problem was the chocolate icing. The first bite tasted good, but after a few seconds it left an almost burnt, slightly bitter aftertaste that became more noticeable with every bite. It completely overshadowed what was otherwise a really nice donut. Glazed: This was easily my favorite of the bunch. A good glazed donut is the benchmark for any donut shop, and Randy's did a respectable job. The glaze had a pleasant sweetness without being overwhelming, and the dough was soft and fresh. For some reason, though, it felt a little denser and heavier than the chocolate raised, even though the flavor was much better. Maple: The maple flavor itself was enjoyable and had a nice, rich sweetness without tasting artificial. The icing was noticeably thicker than I expected, almost like a layer of frosting instead of a thin glaze. While it tasted good, that extra thickness made the donut feel heavier and richer than I usually prefer. Blueberry Cake: This one just wasn't for me. The cake texture felt dense and dry compared to the raised donuts, and the blueberry flavor didn't really come through. Instead, it had an artificial sweetness that left me wanting to move on after just a couple of bites. Cronut: It's essentially a glazed croissant, and that's exactly what it tasted like. The outside had a nice crispness, the inside was flaky and buttery, and the glaze added just enough sweetness. It was enjoyable, but it also wasn't anything that really stood out or made me think, "I need to order this again." Overall, I'm glad I finally gave Randy's Donuts a try because it's such a well-known name, but I don't think it's a place I'll be returning to. The glazed donut was the standout, the dough on the raised donuts was genuinely good, but the flavors and overall experience just didn't live up to the reputation for me.

The banana matcha was good too, although it could've used a little more banana foam this time. The lines can get pretty long, so I was glad it wasn't too busy today. My favorites are the fish sandwich pastry and the jalapeño cheddar pastry. This time I also tried the salt and cookie butter croissant, the s'mores Danish, the Nutella banana Danish, and the turkey and cheese croissant. The setup is simple; walk up to the window, place your order, and try not to get distracted by the display case packed with donuts that look like they belong in a bakery competition. The employees inside were ready to answer any questions and worked diligently to get orders processed. There are a handful of outdoor tables if you want to enjoy your treats there, but be warned that it can get busy in the morning. After one visit here it's easy to understand why. What really sets them apart is their willingness to get creative. They have the classics, but the adventurous specialty donuts are where the magic happens. I tried the Girl Scout inspired Samoa donut, and it absolutely delivered. A soft, pillowy donut with a rich chocolate-coated bottom, topped with a generous layer of caramel and coconut. The flavors were balanced deliciously. The chocolate added depth, the caramel brought just enough buttery sweetness, and the coconut gave it texture and a slightly nutty finish. Best of all, it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Going back for this one soon! If coconut is not your thing, but you enjoy chocolate and whip cream I recommend the whipped cream stuffed chocolate Long John. The chocolate icing had a nice cocoa flavor without being overly sweet, while the whipped cream filling was light, airy, and pleasantly smooth. What really stood out though was the donut itself because it was soft, fluffy, and fresh. The freshness was obvious from the first bite. The donut had that perfect texture--light and airy inside while still substantial enough to hold all of those toppings. It managed to feel indulgent without becoming heavy. Even the atmosphere here adds to the experience. Standing outside with a fresh donut and coffee in hand while watching the steady stream of customers come and go gives you the feeling that you've discovered a local favorite rather than a chain trying to imitate one. If you're the type who usually grabs a plain glazed donut and moves on, this is the place that might convince you to branch out. Between the creative flavors, fresh ingredients, and consistently delicious execution, it's easy to see why people line up in the morning. Some donuts satisfy a craving, these donuts create one!
