    Randy's Donuts

Randy's Donuts was one of the first places my family and I saw as we walked inside the Anaheim Packing district. It's right next to the pizza restaurant. Parking at the Anaheim district the evening we visited during the Holidays was super busy! We had to park a few blocks away and walk over. The moment I approached the counter in the food hall, I was pretty excited! This is one of the newer locations in Southern California for Randy's Donuts. My favorite is the classic glaze. Each bite of the classic glaze is soft and slightly sweet. The donut wasn't hard and had a light fluffy texture. The choices are not too extensive compared to other Randy's donuts location but it does have classic choices as well as some creative donuts. You can also get coffee here too! It's great to be able to get donuts and a hot drink, then sit in the courtyard at the Anaheim Packing district! Sometimes this spot can get relatively busy especially on the weekends, but I always have to get a glazed donut from Randy's donuts! It's one of my go to places while I'm in California for Donuts!

Stopped in to the Anaheim Packing District on the way to the airport. Randy's called our name with delicious donut options. This was the freshest, lightest, tastiest donut I've ever had! The crispy bacon melts in with the maple, and the bar itself was, like I said above, light and not weighed down with extra grease. Randy's is tucked in the back but their display case is what called our name, so many fun flavor options!

Went here today and no one was up front to help guests so we left. Went to have lunch cane back to have dessert and a worker literally looked at both of us and just walked away and went to the coffee station. No "hello" no "I'll be right with you" just started to make a drink and never took our order. After a few minutes waiting an no service we just walked away. They never asked us for help or were even interested in helping us. Sad customer service.

They really do live up to the hype. While I'm typically more of a mom and pop Cambodian donut shop type of guy, I do recognize that a local chain is very much the same thing. I just had a basic maple donut since the glazed was sold out, and I found it solid and at a fair price despite the location within the Anaheim Packing House, which admittedly is always an inconvenience to get to. I do want to try their other donuts, the Texas one was super tempting but I couldn't stomach the calories (and arguably shouldn't ever). They have some creative creations as well though not as many as the stores that specialize in it, but probably bring some of that no-nonsense ethos to their approach compared to the others that sort of deviate from actually tasting like a good donut. That's probably the biggest appeal of Randy's is that they have the small mom and pop flair and style to just making cheap, delicious donuts while not being afraid of modern trends, and I love that for them. TIP: Free parking garages around even if there's a walk. I believe they have another location in OC in Santa Ana that's probably less of a pain to get to.

    Love the Donut Box!

A yummy donut shop inside the Anaheim Packing House. Walked by and could not resist! The person who helped me was super nice! All the donuts look great and plenty of options. But I had to go with the massive chocolate sprinkle Texas donut! A perfectly sweet donut. Big enough to share for sure! Can't wait to come back!

2/3/2025 Newly opened a month ago. Haven't tried Randy's Donuts in such a long time. I've only tried it once in LA, but never gone back. Is that a bad sign? I've been a Sidecar Donuts fan for many years, I've never needed to go elsewhere. While I was waiting for pizza slices to be reheated at ZeroZero39 Pizzeria, I've decided to purchase their popular flavor, their Butter Crumb Raised Donut. BUTTER CRUMB RAISED Appearance-wise, it did look very sweet. Actually, all their donuts looked super sweet, so I was reluctant to try. I was told their butter crumb raised donut was popular, so wanted to try it. First impression is that it was fluffy and soft. Texture was good. It tasted fresh. However, it was covered in powdered sugar and it was very sweet. I was told there's butter pieces on top with the powdered sugar, so I thought there would be some buttery flavor, but it wasn't there. I couldn't quite make out the flavors. All I could taste was vanilla flavored raised donut with powdered sugar on top. There was an odd flavor in there that was indistinguishable. It was trying to taste like butter and had a little bit of saltiness, but still wasn't sure what it was supposed to be. I didn't finish the donut. Tossed it in the trash can. Sorry Randy's Donuts. Will not be back again. CUSTOMER SERVICE Only one person working. She was nice, patient, and greeted everyone passing through. Reason for giving one more star. LOCATION Inside Anaheim Packing District. On the first floor right across from ZeroZero39 Pizzeria. PARKING TIP Always utilize the 10 minute parking space in front Anaheim Packing District for food pick-up.

After quite a full lunch, donuts will always have a little bit more space in the tummy. Randy's Donuts definitely delivered a good spot!! Saturday lunchtime The Packing House was a buzzy place and at Randy's was no exception. Lots of yummy looking donuts to choose from and finally we decided on the Oreo donut and Raspberry donut. They were soft and full of goodness! We love Randy's Donuts!

I tried their iced butter cream latte and it was pretty good. Had the right amount of coffee and sweetness. The girl at the register was super nice. Would come back some time to try their other drinks.

Thrilled to have a Randy's donuts storefront open in the Anaheim Packing District. The other Randy's Donut locations tend to run out of specialty donuts toward the end of the day. I visited this new location in the evening & had a great selection. Everything on their menu was available. Great selection of donuts, fast and easy service!

Saw the iconic neon sign after eating my Po Boy upstairs and ordered a box of assorted donuts for our party of 6. Enjoyed the cinnamon danish and maple bar along with the apple fritter as the ones that I tried. Pro tip- if you have a group and want to share go to one of the other restaurant stalls to get a knife so that you can cut the pieces as depending on what you order, Randy's items are huge.

The employee at the front counter was handling food and packaging materials immediately after repeatedly touching the trash can

The staff member at the counter was extremely rude and unprofessional. While we were ordering, she repeatedly touched the trash can and went back and forth between handling trash and serving customers without using gloves or washing her hands. When we politely asked for our two orders to be placed in separate bags, she became visibly irritated and ultimately refused to complete our order. When we asked for the manager's contact information to make a complaint, she refused to provide it . " From the moment we arrived, her attitude was dismissive and hostile. We were polite and patient the entire time, but her conduct was completely unprofessional and unacceptable for a customer-facing role.

It's a small mom and pop donut shop with a drive-thru, it's a bit dark and inconspicuous, especially at 4 am when I went. I ordered 3 of their blueberry donuts with a Vietnamese ice coffee. The donuts were fresh and warm with a nice blueberry flavor, extremely delicious. So they definitely live up to the hype! The donut itself weren't overly cakey and had a nice crunch to them due to the glaze that's over them but still very soft on the inside. However, the Vietnamese iced coffee was just okay as the coffee flavor wasn't strong enough and it tasted like a regular iced coffee with cream. Also, I wished the ice was crushed instead of cubed. You're off getting better Vietnamese iced coffee from 7 leaves or any other place. Maybe I had a bad batch so try it you may like it. Regardless, I won't be coming here for the iced coffee just the donuts. The gentleman taking my order was very nice and so sweet. He was quite welcoming and so happy, we had up a very small conversation. I think he may have been the only one working that morning so it took a little longer than expected like 7-10 minutes but I am not complaining as the donuts I believe are made to order and I was also the only one in the drive-thru line so I didn't feel too bad. I will definitely be back! I would like try more of their donuts and maybe a different drink.

Parking: we went at night when the other businesses were closed, but I can see it being a problem during the day if the other businesses are just as busy. Service: service was quick. Unfortunately the girl behind the counter was not having a great day- not welcoming or very helpful. Ambiance: busy busy busy! Ordered seven donuts for $21.78. Tried four of them. My personal review: *Raised crumb- 2/5 it wasn't really crumb, more like sugar. *Chocolate glazed- 4/5 Chocolate was rich *Chocolate cake donut with sprinkles- 4/5 donut itself was yummy but the sprinkles were a bit too crunchy *plain glazed-5/5 probably my favorite. The glaze had a nutty/ coffee flavor to it- yummo In all this place wasnt bad, but it wasn't the greatest. Plus side are the hours this establishment has.

The banana matcha was good too, although it could've used a little more banana foam this time. The lines can get pretty long, so I was glad it wasn't too busy today. My favorites are the fish sandwich pastry and the jalapeño cheddar pastry. This time I also tried the salt and cookie butter croissant, the s'mores Danish, the Nutella banana Danish, and the turkey and cheese croissant. Everything was good except the turkey and cheese croissant, it was way overcooked for my liking, so I probably wouldn't order that one again. Overall, a good bakery with consistently tasty pastries and drinks.

The setup is simple; walk up to the window, place your order, and try not to get distracted by the display case packed with donuts that look like they belong in a bakery competition. The employees inside were ready to answer any questions and worked diligently to get orders processed. There are a handful of outdoor tables if you want to enjoy your treats there, but be warned that it can get busy in the morning. After one visit here it's easy to understand why. What really sets them apart is their willingness to get creative. They have the classics, but the adventurous specialty donuts are where the magic happens. I tried the Girl Scout inspired Samoa donut, and it absolutely delivered. A soft, pillowy donut with a rich chocolate-coated bottom, topped with a generous layer of caramel and coconut. The flavors were balanced deliciously. The chocolate added depth, the caramel brought just enough buttery sweetness, and the coconut gave it texture and a slightly nutty finish. Best of all, it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Going back for this one soon! If coconut is not your thing, but you enjoy chocolate and whip cream I recommend the whipped cream stuffed chocolate Long John. The chocolate icing had a nice cocoa flavor without being overly sweet, while the whipped cream filling was light, airy, and pleasantly smooth. What really stood out though was the donut itself because it was soft, fluffy, and fresh. The freshness was obvious from the first bite. The donut had that perfect texture--light and airy inside while still substantial enough to hold all of those toppings. It managed to feel indulgent without becoming heavy. Even the atmosphere here adds to the experience. Standing outside with a fresh donut and coffee in hand while watching the steady stream of customers come and go gives you the feeling that you've discovered a local favorite rather than a chain trying to imitate one. If you're the type who usually grabs a plain glazed donut and moves on, this is the place that might convince you to branch out. Between the creative flavors, fresh ingredients, and consistently delicious execution, it's easy to see why people line up in the morning. Some donuts satisfy a craving, these donuts create one!
