They realized we had a dog so they set another table for us on the patio. We were seated and within minutes, the hostess told us dogs weren't allowed to be in this specific section of the patio. An ALL OR NOTHING statement was said, ".....we could stay where we were but the dog needs to on the sidewalk. OOPS! SORRY, but we did not seat ourselves! We were seated at the table knowingly we had our dog. HOSTESS WERE IN TOTAL CONFUSION! We were then seated at a bar height table with our shih tzu. We ordered the La Casalinga and boscaiola. I was under the impression the La Casalinga was a arugula salad. It was more a romaine salad sprinkled lightly with arugula. I would have never ordered if I had known this. Our salad arrived with 2 spoons. Yup, 2 spoons and no cutlery. We had to ask for cutlery. Our boscaiola was acceptable and not spectacular! I said "we would prefer to sit in the covered patio" She said it was okay but kind of made kind of a big deal about it. Treating me like I was being difficult when actually I was very polite considering how they were treating us. Reminding us repeatedly that a larger more important party is coming in an hour and treating us like we were a burden. It honestly just seemed like the servers are only thinking only about their tips and not wanting to serve a small family. She ignored our table the whole time. I didn't get any Parmesan. We didn't realize there was happy hour ending at 6pm. We got the Polpette al forno ( meatball & homemade bread) $7 , Spaghetti bolognese special $29, and finocchiona pizza. The food tasted amazing, and their chili oil is a must The staff were very friendly, made recommendations and gave coloring sheet and crayons for our kiddo.
