Recently we noticed there has been some major value engineering. For example the size of a large pizza is same as what used to be a medium. What is now meat lover is now a vegetable lover pizza, with mostly onions and tomatoes. So we are now paying 25% more for 25% less. Also no one at the place wear masks, or fully. Skimpy toppings on a meat pizza-inconsistent quality depending who is making the pizza. We loved next door to this pizza joint and order their Whopper Pizza (beef and bacon) regularly. Of late their meat has decrease by 30% and shall no longer sell a $16 pizza as bacon and beef but diced tomatoes instead. The pizza was dominated by dough, cheese and tomato, with the tiniest bits of meat and almost non existent bacon that I have to call and asked them why there is no bacon. The response was "we put some bacon but not a lot"..... there was no apology. Ain't coming back to this pizza joint no matter how close it is. read more

Since I've only been ordering food for delivery, I can't comment on a few things but I can comment on the taste. Let me just say - I've been ordering (almost weekly) Pizza Factory's AMAZING 2 for 1 specials since I moved to coquitlam (over a month ago). I love being able to create my own pizza and at such an affordable price! My bf and I absolutely love Pizza Factory!! Our only constructive critique would be concerning the amount of sauce on the pizza. Sometimes, it's just right but most of the time it's a bit dry. Once, we even got a pizza with too much sauce. But for the price and overall goodness of the pizza, I think I'll keep ordering here (or at least until I find another piza place gem in Coquitlam)! read more

My family ordered pizza and they made a mistake with our order. They sent us a smaller pizza than we ordered and paid for. First person we spoke with said it was a very busy night and it would be hard for them to send us a new pizza would we accept a credit for a free large. Very polite and respectful interaction. Week later we are again ordering pizza and try to use our free credit. They have no record of it, speak with who I am told the manager/owner will call me back. He was disrespectful, refuses to honour the original credit. Insinuated that I was lying because I couldn't remember the name of the person I spoke to a week earlier, was told "next get a name " and then promptly hung up on with out any more talk of repayment of the overpayment we made the week before. I just got off at the skytrain on my way to an errand and saw this pizza joint across the street. I was skeptical at first about this place given the exterior but had a funny feeling that this pizza could be good. So I decided to come back and try a slice on my journey back. And boy was I glad I did. They didn't have much variety for single slice pizzas but they did have this delicious pepperoni pizza. In fact it was the only single slice topping pizza option they had. But did I mention that it was delicious!? The pizza dough is perfectly crisp on the outside but buttery soft on the inside with the right amount of springyness with each chew. I like the fact that they have large tables so if you have a group of friends you can share a big pizza pie to yourself. It would be nice to have more seating in the restaurant but that is how they designed it. It would have been nice if they had a variety of different pizzas for single slice orders so that isn why I am deducting one star. But for $2 a slice and getting the dough right I am sure the other pizza pies are good. The pepperoni for sure is really good. Basic, simple and hard to do exceptionally well. I only intended to get one slice to try this place but went back for seconds because it was that good. read more

Both times they had had made my order large instead of what i ordered I paid $15.00 more the first time so i thought maybe just honest mistake. I have been buying pizzas at Pizza Factory for several years and have enjoyed many pizzas during this time. Sadly, the past few months, they have begun to scrimp on toppings-- the last pizza having sections with no toppings even an inch and half in from the edge. When I complained, the girl offered to replace the pizza. When I returned to pick it up, they gave me the exact same pizza with a little extra cheese sprinkled to cover it up. Not surprisingly, the whole pizza was dried out. Sometimes they try to pass off someone else's reject pizza for a fresh pizza too. If they don't want to sell their pizzas for the same price anymore, it would be better to raise the price, than play these sorts of games with their customers. Not sure if I am going back now. They'd get one star because they need to get the message to stop playing tricks. read more

Manager was very rude. Ask to replace tomato sauce with bbq he tells me 2 dollar charger for sauce. This very unprofessional I have order other Pizza places no one has charged for sauce and 2 dollars. I said look at my order history I always get it bbq sauce no one has ever charged me in 2 years ordering with them. He tells me go order else where then very bad customer service. I went in and asked for a medium vegetarian pizza. They told me someone had just ordered a large vegetarian and they could give it to me for half price. When I got home and opened it I found that they just lied to me, and the pizza was covered in italian sausage, which I cannot eat because I'm a vegetarian and have been for six years. I did check to see if it could have been beyond meat and I learned they don't offer that in their menu, so it was undoubtedly sausage. So yeah they basically just straight up lied to me to pawn off a pizza. read more

A few nights ago I was stranded with a spicy senorita at Burquitlam Station. We were both incredibly hungry and noticed a flickering light from across the street, it was a pizza place, and we were sold. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted warmly by the chefs and manager who took our order. As we waited we enjoyed cuddling by the TV watching Game of Thrones and using the free WiFi (Talwan). In 15 minutes our pizza was ready and with high hopes we dug in... First bites were amazing. Not sure if we were just incredibly hungry but the cheese pizza we ordered was perfectly crafted and clearly had been tossed with pride. The best part was the pizza was not greasy like the other guys and after finishing nearly 3/4 of a pizza myself I don't recall feeling bloated or gassy.
