My favourite pizza place when I lived in Richmond. I've moved to Surrey now and have been searching for a comparable pizza spot. Haven't found one yet so whenever I'm in Richmond I make it a point to order pizza to bring home. Their crusts is even better reheated the next day, extra crispy and just as delicious. Writing this long overdue review. I don't leave reviews but often refer to reviews when trying a new place. Recently we tried another pizza place (not round table) for the first time and was left VERY very dissatisfied. It's because of that I decided to leave them a review and felt the need to leave one for round table as well. I've been spoiled by round tables pizza and felt guilty for trying a different place. We often order from round table during events and gatherings and everyone asks where the pizza was from. Our niece loves the all cheese pizza (so do I). For the last 5 years, since moving to Richmond, this has been our go to pizza shop. Our faves are the meat lover, all cheese, pesto spinach chicken, hot and spicy, and Canadian. Every now and then we order the lasagne. It's packed with plenty of flavor and lots of sauce. Only wish it was a larger portion to account for the price. The chicken wings are ok but not the best. I'm a big wing guy and order the wings now and then to see if they've improved. But I get it, they're known for their pizza, not their wings. Just in case you order a can of coke, it doesn't always come cold. Great pizza though and will continue to be a part of our gatherings. read more

One of the best pizza places in Richmond, and they have numerous awards too, including 1st place for "Best Late Night Pizza for 25+ years" - so you know they're open late. It does take some time to get your order (lots of take-out orders, and possibility of being understaffed during COVID-19 during peak hours). My order: Everything Special: I really liked how there was also a layer of meat on the bottom of the crust in addition to the toppings. Generous portion of toppings overall and good quality ingredients. Crust is a medium thickness providing a good crust to topping ratio. I know Round Table Pizza been in Richmond for decades and supporting local community events at some high schools in the past so, I want to try and support these local establishments instead of big chains during these times! The wait for our pizza wasn't long and it was a straightforward pickup process. For the food, the lasagna and wings are also decent! Ordered a large meat lovers & a large feta special for $35.70. The meat lovers was ok, never been much of a fan of it but my sons loved it. The feta special was very good. I don't normally eat pizza crust cuz I find it too doughy but Round Table's was delish cuz their toppings are almost to the edge, leaving only about 1cm of crispy crust! The quality and quantity of Round Table Pizza has definitely declined in the fast few years, with their pizzas now being quite thin, oily and light. We used to indulge in their fully loaded pizzas and become stuffed after 2 slices, but it seems that everything has shrunk in size. The price is still decent as you can order 4 large pizzas for approximately $65 and easily feed a dozen or so people. My favourite pizza of the night was Tropical Hawaiian. I would say that they're quite quick when making their pizzas. They only require 30 minutes in advance notice but the pizzas are usually done within 20 minutes or so. Staff is always friendly in person & this is one of those places where they understand that North American pizza should be filled to the brim with toppings =). They have some really creative pizza creations that are super tasty! (the margarita chicken pizza I had last night had bocconcini cheese spread throughout. Omg. Delish.) I found out about this place because I came here for a free pizza day promo that I found out about on social media, & ended up winning a contest for 2 free large pizzas! And the best part? Ordered 2 pizzas online but they got the order wrong. When I called to inform them of the mistake they told me they didn't have the capability to offer a refund. they could only offer a credit. When I trefused the credit I was told the only option was to apply online for a credit. I eventually gave up trying to argue with them and went back online...BUT guess what...there was no option to apply for a credit! All I could do was email them through a generic gmail email address. Absolutely ridiculous that they can not refund you for their own error. I will never order from this scam of a restaurant again! read more

I've really been trying to branch out from the classic Papa Johns and Dominos delivery, so on my last girls night in, I was hanging out at my friend's house in Richmond, I hopped on the Yelp app and found round Table just a block away from her house. I called in and placed an order for a medium, half meat lovers, half Hawaiian and was able to pick it up in 20 minutes. I was greeted right away, they had my order ready, and the pizza quality was the bomb.com. If I'm in the area I'll definitely be ordering from Round Table again! read more

Awful customer service. Ordered a 4 topping pizza for pick up. Arrived 30 minutes later at the store and was told they don't have 1 of the ingredients and just about to call me. Like seriously? I ordered another pizza and waited 15 minutes and was not pleased. When I got home the pizza had anchovies on it which I clearly did not asked for. It was the most salty pizza I have ever tasted. I am not sure if they added the bonus anchovies like it was to make up for my earlier troubles, or they are just plain incompetent (I believe the latter). So they wasted my time, my money and I did not have a meal since I had to throw out the pizza for being otherworldly salty. Worst pizza experience ever read more

Ok the pizza here is pretty good so I'd give that maybe 4 stars but it's hard to understand the people on the phone sometimes when I'm making my order. They talk so fast and I feel like there is no sense of customer service on the phone or in the store when you're waiting to pick up your pizza. They just ignore you until your pizza is ready and call you over. The pizza is great. I always ask for well done. They load up the toppings. It's been my go to place forever. New ownership in recent years has definitely hiked the prices up. I always pick up (10% off) I order the same thing every time and rarely pay the same price. Always within a couple bucks. When I moved to Richmond, I found Round Table just around the corner. They add a good amount of toppings and it tastes good. It can be greasy, but I don't find it overly greasy for thick slices with a fair bit of cheese. The staff has always been friendly. I always pick up since I live close. The pizza is okay, but had it arrived warm it would have been even better! We waited 80 minutes to get the pizza delivered - and we were only 3.2 km away! We called back after receiving the pizza to tell them that it was cold, the guy on the phone said "The pizza is not cold!" Very disappointing. The pizza has potential to be good, if it ever arrived fresh and hot. They use decent ingredients, but the service is piss poor. The next day, the pizza box was disgustingly greasy (see picture.) DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I ordered by phone, and was told that it would be ready in 20 minutes. Upon arrival, the pizzas were not ready or even made. I asked the staff if there was perhaps a different location where my order could have gone, and they replied "no, this is the only location in Richmond". They took my order again and told me to wait 7 minutes, and I complied without a single complaint. When I finally got home, my vegetarian greek pizza had a layer of salami under the cheese. When I called back to tell them what had happened, they refused to refund me the cost of the pizza as I did not want it anymore (well not from this place at least). I do business with people that respect the aspects of business. If I pay for a good, I expect that good to be precisely what I ask. Fine Timing, Awful service I ordered over the phone, and after being lectured about not offering prepayment I told them I was a business and magically it was resolved. They were able to get it to us within the hour during lunch rush which was very nice but the driver was rude. He called me asking where we were and when I tried to confirm our street name he then showed up, told me his life story of being retired from Air Canada and began going off about not liking when people ask what street he's on even though he was the one who asked... : ) Happy to say neither my business or I will be ordering from them again.
