I was a little hesitant checking out this place in the wintertime because a lot of reviews say this is a takeout only spot. That was my first impression too when I walked by Steveston and saw this place to have a very tiny ordering area. However, they actually have a small indoor dining room for you to enjoy the pizza, a saving grace for this winter visit when it was below freezing temperatures outside. We got the Serpent which featured smoked salmon, shrimp, and 5 lobster tails. For 120CAD (after the price increase), this was still a crazy deal. The pizza is fairly large and it was a lot of food to share even amongst 4 people. They load up some potatoes on the pizza that made it more filling, and the generous amounts of seafood is definitely no joke. The seafood is plentiful and fresh, and I still think about it as I write this review. In the US, a few lobster tails at a restaurant already costs as much if not more than this pizza itself, so we were in for a treat. Parking is plentiful around here and it is really close to the harbor so it is a good mini trip out to check out this place!

During my visit in Vancouver, a friend took me to this pizza place at Steveston Harbour which is a port area of south Richmond. Pizza wasn't on radar of food to try in Vancouver nor is Vancouver known for pizza. But after seeing pictures of the pizza of this place I had to try it. Steveson is a take out pizza joint with unique and creative pizzas. They have pizza classics like pepperoni and Hawaiian. But I was here for the seafood pizza. I've never had seafood on my pizza and I love seafood so I was looking forward to eat this. I ordered Butterfly pizza which is categorized under The Castle. The toppings on the Butterfly are Shrimp, prawns and smoked salmon. It was $65 and 12 inch pizza. They have other seafood pizza that comes with lobster and/or crab legs. The Butterfly was the cheapest one of the options. The most expensive one was the C6 for $850; they literally put caviar on that sh*t. The Butterfly come it's a big box because the pizza is stackeddd. It was about a 15-20 min wait but it was totally worth it. The topped with huge pieces of shrimp, prawns, and smoked salmon. This was my first time eating a seafood pizza and this pizza was sooo good. Eating beside the harbour while the sun was setting was chefs kiss. They loaded it with shrimp and the smoked salmon was the perfect amount. The pizza was thin crust which I appreciated because it didn't get full as quickly and got to more pizzas. I don't know what cheese they use but it was so good too. It had that perfect golden brown charring. Everything about the pizza was so good. I would give it a 9/10. Highly recommend.

A celebration review - it's been almost 10 years since my first review of Steveston Pizza. I've been chomping down SP for over 10 years now!?! WOW! Mangiare! It's thick, it's chewy & it's scrumptious! I've thoroughly enjoyed the high quality level of pizza that SP has just mastered to a T! There's a wide variety of pizzas to select from so be sure to check out the online menu. When ordering ahead, allow for up to an hour before pick up, as it can get that busy. My very fav pizza - the Mediterranean (Feta, olives, fresh tomatoes, green peppers and onions) with no olives but add extra pineapple = heavenly. My other favourite pizzas are ... - Water (Shrimp, salmon and basil pesto) - The 5th Element (Sesame crust, basil-kissed tomatoes, a love letter of mushrooms, hearts of brie and mozzarella) & lastly ... - Harmony (Chicken breast, baby spinach, feta, roasted red pepper with a light basil pesto drizzle). The master pizza creator, Nader, who started it all pops in occasionally to help out. He has absolutely created some of the best pizza ever. If you are out & about in Steveston Village, this is a must check out Pizzeria indeed. Most people grab their pizza & cross the street to eat on the small grassy area across the way, where you can sit & enjoy people watching. Many patrons of SP will buy the Lobster Tail pizza - sort of a 'look at me' pizza ala IG. Fun fact - you can find Steveston Pizza in Manila! Why Manila? I have no idea!? Amo la pizza!

Amazing pizza varieties. The Castle type pizza is a bite expensive but is a must try for something different. I ordered the one with tiger prawns and salmon and is uniquely special. This is a fast food outlet so these is little service to elaborate and ambiance is clean.

I'm from Los Angeles California and I came all the way to Richmond to try this pizza and it didn't disappoint! 5 lobster tails, jumbo prawns, smoked salmon, and more shrimp. It was delicious. There were 3 of us and we could not finish though we normally consume small portions. I would come back again and the pizza was $126. Came on a Sunday afternoon and didn't have an issue looking for parking a couple blocks down. I do think the dining area would have been nice if it was connected to the ordering area because they had to buzz people inside but the door gets kinda stuck or the employees don't notice someone wants to enter. This is kinda inconvenient for its customers who have to help open the door. I'm glad that they have a water dispenser and restroom for us to wash our hands though. There's a decent amount of seating and I wish they had better lighting so my pictures don't come out so warm But overall, food was solid.

Foods - Famous for Seafoods pizza Service - just take out & eat next door, seating area. Ambiance - casual Worth trying - we ordered the Serpent pizza again, loaded of seafood, prawns, salmon, Canadian lobsters. Highly recommended to try at least once.

Quite yummy and creative ingredients. The water pizza was delicious with crunchy shrimp and smoke salmon topped with basil pesto sauce. A bit pricey but then again inflation has been crazy.

Small shop with many options and seating next door. We got the Italian pizza ($35 after tip). Flavors were great, packed full of Italian meats and very generous portions. Would say it's worth trying out, even tho it's a bit on the pricier end.

Small corner pizza place in Steveston Fisherman Wharf area, known locally for their seafood pizzas. Called ahead and ordered one of their signature Serpent pizza, and it was ready for pick up when we got there 20 minutes later. The pizza came in a black box that looked kind of like a big shoebox. It was quite the exuberant-looking pizza, with 4 cheese baked lobster tails, a whole bunch of shrimp, some smoked salmon slices and arugula on top of mashed potatoes on a thin crust pizza. The lobster tails were decent sized and smelled great. The taste was pretty decent too. At $88 including tax, this was the most expensive pizza I've ever had, but considering the amount of seafood on the pizza, it's not that expensive. Three of us only finished 3/4 of the pizza. Definitely worth trying. They have even more expensive pizzas on the menu.

    Lobster tail pizza

Would definitely go back for another lobster pizza next time we are in Richmond It's a perfect combo, (5) lobster tails, smoke salmon and fresh shrimp with mash potatoes

First time here! Overall it's quite a high price compared to other pizza joints. They offer various novelty flavours, which they are known for. We went for the less expensive and more common pizzas: Meat Lovers and Hawaiian. Both were great! Jam packed with toppings and LOTS of cheese. Would love to try the other flavours. Service was good but they are very busy, so order ahead or be patient to pick up your order later.

Wanted to check this place out after seeing it featured on Strictly Dumpling, and it did not disappoint! We got the storm (shrimp, crab legs, lobster tail, smoked salmon) and it was even bigger than we expected. All the seafood was fresh and super tasty, and to my pleasant surprise the pizza underneath was pretty decent as well. It had good structural integrity despite being on the thinner side, and definitely was made with care instead of being an afterthought. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but solid and quite the hearty meal. Definitely a highlight of our trip to the Vancouver area!

If you have a hankering for pizza and want to support local / try something other than the big chains, then Richmond Pizza is a candidate for your list! === 2. FOOD Small Pizza ($13.50) - The Everything Special - which is really code for "the kitchen sink": ham, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, beef, olives (which I skipped), onions, green peppers, pineapple, and tomatoes - there's so much, it seems like a deep dish pizza! What's different here is that the crust is soft, but there's no edge/end that rings around the pizza. So if you were looking for one of those to hold a slice or you simply like the bread part of the crust, you're out of luck. But the pizza's pretty solid and not oily - recommended! === 3. SERVICE For takeout service, it's decent, especially for a newcomer to the restaurant; the patient explanation of options and recommendation worked out well! === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's a small joint - more like a takeout storefront for pizza. There may have been window-based bar-style seating at some point pre-pandemic; however, there is no seating available now, leaving a decent amount of space for walk-in patrons, wheelchairs, and baby strollers. Parking may be a little contested given the small number of spaces in the complex's lot.

Recently we tried another pizza place (not round table) for the first time and was left VERY very dissatisfied. It's because of that I decided to leave them a review and felt the need to leave one for round table as well. I've been spoiled by round tables pizza and felt guilty for trying a different place. We often order from round table during events and gatherings and everyone asks where the pizza was from. Our niece loves the all cheese pizza (so do I). For the last 5 years, since moving to Richmond, this has been our go to pizza shop. Our faves are the meat lover, all cheese, pesto spinach chicken, hot and spicy, and Canadian. Every now and then we order the lasagne. It's packed with plenty of flavor and lots of sauce. Only wish it was a larger portion to account for the price. The chicken wings are ok but not the best. I'm a big wing guy and order the wings now and then to see if they've improved. But I get it, they're known for their pizza, not their wings. Just in case you order a can of coke, it doesn't always come cold. Great pizza though and will continue to be a part of our gatherings.
