Some great friends of mine swear by this pizza! So I've eaten it four times over the past couple of years, at their house, with delivery into Port Moody. Never had a problem with long delivery times or cold pie. The ingredients are always fresh and the crust is top notch. Occasionally you'll get a sparse topping quantity, but a quality large size pizza for just over $20 is a steal. They have a ton of VEG pizza here as well, unique but not off the wall, try the Green Garden. Also a big fan of the Prosciutto Arugula and the Spicy Italian. This place is just lovely. Great service and quality cheese is used on their pizzas. They even offer vegan cheese, which is very hard to come by. The prices are about the same as other pizza joints, but this place just tastes better. The location is pretty as well. Not the actually physical store, as that is fairly plain, but the plaza its located within. Stocked with desirable amenities, coffee shops and spas, the place is just pleasant and accessible. I would recommend this place, it may not have the advertising power of pizza hut but its definitely better than those chains. The staff have a small business mannerism in that they treat you like a valued customer. I've gone about a dozen times and if I wasn't watching my weight, I'd being going far more often! read more

I was anxious to check this place out after noticing it had almost 5 star review here on yelp I was thoroughly disappointed. I mean, the food was OK - but it was average and nothing like the amazing cheesy goodness like the yelp reviews had promised I was curious and I actually checked previous reviews of the other people who had reviewed this place - they are pretty generous with their stars This place wasn't totally disgusting or anything - clean interior, little bit of sitting space for dining in. They were OK but they would have to do a lot better to have me come back there I haven't tried their calzone - just their pizza. One thing that pissed me off was how 'wide' the crust was (are they trying to save on their marinara sauce & cheese?) and how skimpy they were with their cheese - I shouldn't be able to notice the pattern in which the cheese was laid out, because it covered only about 2/3 of the sauce-covered portion. Their ingredients were just average as well. In terms of pricing, I guess they are average as well. I had high expectations and hopes before going here - and left disappointed It wasn't the worst pizza ever, but I don't think I would be going back here anytime soon for their pizza. The pizza was good, the wings are bad. We tried one regular crust pizza and o e cauliflower pizza. We enjoyed both. And it was delivered quickly. Fresh toppings and lots of them. The wings however were terrible. Soggy and flavourless. We ordered the salt and pepper wings and the Thai wings. I understand that they are bakes and not fried,....but these were bad. I moved to this side of Coquitlam a couple of months ago and I wanted to try new restaurants near by. Yesterday, I ordered for pick up 2 calzones : 1 Soppressata and 1 Italian supreme. Was a hard decision because of all the options they offer. They were great! Fresh and delicious Ingredients- 100% Mozzarella! Probably just a bad experience.. Took exactly an hour to deliver a medium pizza and 10 wings which is fine. However, once the food finally got here my tandoori chicken wings were just plain dry chicken wings. Luckily the Brie pizza was good. read more

I've been going here for over a decade. It opened up with I started going to middle school right behind the place, back when they did pizza by the slices (they don't anymore). Still go here and their menu is always evolving with new pizzas. Yes, some of their gourmand pizzas are a bit pricer but they're well worth it. Plus, they got great pick-up specials. A large pepperoni to go is $13. I also really like their wings. I go their sometimes just for them. Plus, the guy who runs the place is a friendly, and I enjoy chatting with him while he makes my order. read more

We're so lucky to have one of the best pizza joints in LML right here. Been a regular since they started up several years ago.... and they have kept it consistent. Favourites? After my first experience with the food in Westwood Plateau Village (Plateau Donair), I must say I was hesitant to give Plateau Pizza a chance, but I'm sure glad I did! The staff is quite friendly and they were super chill about the fact that I was humming and hawing over the menu for ages. I ordered a small southwest chicken pizza minus the jalapeno peppers, and it was delicious! This is a really good place to hit up if you've got a hankering for pizza. They have the good ol' classics for those who enjoy the tried and true, and some more unusual toppings for the trailblazers. A pizza to satisfy no matter what you're in the mood for. Not a fan. Calzone dough was just like a lazy piece of pizza dough folded over, soft and deflated, nothing like the crispy full baked dough we were expecting. Gluten free pizza dough was served to me almost warm and with no crispness to it. We ate in and that's obviously not their thing... no plates and plastic cutlery. I don't normally review too many places, but when I come across one that has a combination of excellent staff and food quality I must share it with others. Review of: 1.) Over all Crust: Very nice crispy bottomed pizza crust and then when you bite into it you get an excellent chewy fresh baked flavour. Crust is not too thick or thin and not greasy what I like. I know some people like that thin cracker crust from me and Eds or a pan style crust full of oil from pizza hut, for the rest of us this is the one. Reminds me of the pizza I had when traveling across Italy. 1.) Ham and Pineapple: I like to try a classic when going somewhere for the first time. This Pizza was excellent, one of the better Hawaiian pizzas around with lots of gooey delicious cheese, fresh sweet pineapple, tangy red sauce and good size pieces of ham sliced thin. Nothing worse than big thick hunks of ham, the pizza was finished off with a sprinkle of oregano which elevated this pizza above other pizza parlours. 2.) Deluxe Supreme: Many delicious fresh toppings on a tangy tomatoes base. The sausage was juicy and the peppers and onions fresh. I loved the fact that they used fresh olives that have been pitted by themselves that beats the canned olives any day. Full of flavour. The Addition of asigo cheese on this one really is what finishes it off to take beyond. 3.) Spicy Italian: Now the spicy Italian, this in my opinion was the best of the three I had. This pizza was full of layers of flavour with the capicollo chorizo and artichoke being the big flavours on this pizza. The artichokes were tender and not stringy or woody which can be a problem when not done correctly. The Goat cheese was so perfect; a smooth addition to this combination with the fresh tomato and garlic made this truly a delight on their amazing crust. 5.) Restaurant and Store Front: A very nice pizza parlour in the high end west wood plateau area. Kept very clean, I thought the place must have been brand new, but they have been around for a while. For a good reason, great pizza, great staff, and kept up very well. Have a few nice tables outside of the shop to enjoy a fresh pizza and pop when the sun is shining. read more

Great Pizza. Was staying at my daughters and looking for a relaxed evening in and she recommended we just order a couple of pies from Plateau, what a treat. I am usually a thin, crispy crust guy but Plateau's thicker crust was outstanding, not doughy or burned but perfectly cooked with just enough bite. The toppings were fresh and ample with just the right sauce to cheese ratio. My son-in-law and I had the Hot Capone, a great combo of hot capicollo, red onions, Italian sausage, hot banana, and jalapeno peppers and garlic. Sounds like it would be hot but it was just the right combo of heat and spice. My daughter and wife had the ubiquitous Ham and Pineapple that was excellent, not too sweet but very flavorful. We were really surprised at what a great little pizza place this was, rivaling many "classic" pizza restaurants. read more

After reading the reviews, I honestly thought that Plateau Pizza would be a hit. What I'll say was that the service was good and the people were nice, however, the pizza wasn't good at all. It was bland and flavourless. I ordered a large pizza with two toppings and for what you get on the pizza, it was overpriced. There was not enough sauce and the sauce tasted like watered down tomato paste. The toppings were scarce and it wasn't a cheesy pizza. I really hope this review helps other people. read more

I have been a long time customer of this place and wanted to share my latest experience. I picked up some dinner at a restaurant next door for my wife and I and bought a couple of soft drinks there as well. Went in to pick up some pizza from Plateau for the kids and, as I was paying for them, he started to charge me for the soft drinks. I told him that I just bought them next door and showed him the bag of food as well that I had just picked up. he started to accuse me of ripping him off. I was stunned and asked if he would like to go next door and talk to the other restaurant with me. he wouldn't. I was pretty upset driving home after this incident, so I called Pateau Pizza and asked to talk to the owner/manager. He got on the phone and I had explained that I am a long time customer and what I experienced with his staff. His response was "Thank you" and a click. No apology! WTF!! Needless to say, I will not be going there again. If this is how they treat their customers, they have a lot to learn about business. read more
