I recently visited this cozy Italian spot on a Friday evening, and it was packed! clearly a local favorite. The portions are quite generous for the price so you definitely get value for your money. The salad was tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary. Everything was fresh but seemed like something I could probably whip up at home. The buttara was delicious. The addition of prosciutto really elevated the dish and brought a savoury note. The pizza was also good; the crust was thin and soft though not as crispy. The service was friendly. It's a casual neighbourhood spot for a chill dinner date or a night out with friends.

Really delicious pasta and the atmosphere was bustling but also personable and friendly service from the servers. We sat in the outdoor patio which was warm and they gave us blankets too so I really enjoyed myself. I would say I've had slightly better pasta elsewhere but this place was very enjoyable. I would go back.

Went to Il Posto with 2 other couples. I know it's popular so reservations were made. They do not accept reservations between 5 and 7pm. There is always a wait even at 7pm that we had our reservations for. We were on the inside in a small room along with other tables. Still very noisy but not enough to shout. That is because this is a very popular restaurant. The food was very good and everyone enjoyed their meals immensely. At the table the marinated Sicilian Olives were ordered even though he did not like olives he found these absolutely delicious. Caesar salads were had by three of us and the romaine was crispy and not flooded with sauce. The baked focaccia was perfect . Main courses were wild prawn linguine - lots of prawns. Meatballs were huge and there were three of them. 2of us shared a pizza. The have a real pizza oven heated by wood fire. The smell emanating from the cooked pizzas made your moth water in anticipation. The last dish was Gnocchi Bolognese. Three of us tried it and all loved the taste of it. They have a happy hour from 2 to 5. Good place to stop and eat before hitting the ferries if you are going that way. Good wine list.

First time coming and it took them about 40 min for our food to come, the ambience of this restaurant is quite nice and the lighting is good. I think the burrata pasta is nice but I think some protein would be good, the other food was pretty mediocre in my opinion but i haven't tried any of there pizza so I'll probably change my mind when i come back again, overall it's a nice place to go to on a Friday night but not outstanding

Went there with high expectations since i ve seen a lot of great reviews. Service and ambiance : 10/10! Food wise : meh it wasnt bad but nothing wow and the pizza didnt really taste italian. The bruschetta was amazing to bd honest but the rest is fine no more. Would I go back ? Really hesitant to say yes!

You have to submit them on their website and just wait for confirmation. After a few days, I followed up, receiving an email that they already have us down! PORTABELLA MUSHROOM SOUP V 12 SLOW ROASTED & PUREED WITH A TOUCH OF CREAM & FRESH HERBS - good but came warm. Arancini special - must get! So cheesy and perfectly crispy! GRILLED ROMAINE SALAD V 16 CHARRED ROMAINE HEART, ROASTED GARLIC DRESSING - a must! Perfectly dressed and really flavourful! ILLUMINATE MARGHERITA V 24 BOCCONCINI CHEESE, ARUGULA & CHERRY TOMATOES - light airy crust, good toppings, but came warm! TORTELLINI ALLA PANNA 26 PROSCIUTTO & PEAS - delicious and not too salty! GNOCCHI GORGONZOLA V 26 AGED ITALIAN BLUE CHEESE - good but really rich! 2 orders of the mushroom ravioli special - good but they both game and were different. However, we really enjoy the food and coziness of the room so we have continued to make Henry's one of our regular dining experiences. We were going to make reservations for later this month when I noticed a line on their website saying that a 20% gratuity had been added to the bill. I thought that maybe it was a line that had been added on because of New Year's Eve or at that the prices on the menu now reflected the 20% gratuity and no further tipping would be required. My husband sent an email to Henry's asking them to clarify what the policy was. We received a response from Jasmine "20% will be add on. It does not refer only to groups but also to each individual consumer". Sadly, we will not be going to Henry's anymore. The food is very good but the prices are already very high. We were at a Seasons in the Park last night. Their prices are less than Henry's. The setting is nicer, service was outstanding and food is very bit as good as Henry's.

We walked into the restaurant without any customers. A server seated us right away. Her service was great knowing that it was our first time to eat here and letting us know what was special and what we should try. We ordered mussels with white wine, tomatoes and herbs as appetizers and our main dishes were Penne Alfredo and Linguine Pescatora. Penne Alfredo was just a simple dish of penne with white creamy sauce and Parmesan cheese, but OMG! It was extraordinarily delicious! Chef Henry could cook this simple dish so well that I could 100% guarantee it is hard to find such a good simple dish in Greater Vancouver. Linguine Pescatora was full of seafood (shrimps, mussels, clams, scallops, and calamari) in a light spicy tomato sauce. The seafood was fresh (not frozen ones) and the texture of linguine was firm and chewy. Everything was irresistible. We would love to visit this restaurant and try other dishes in the near future. It was worth a trip to come all the way to Port Moody and eat the pasta here. (This pasta restaurant was originally located in Vancouver West.).

So, we decided to go to the Richmond location as it has free parking and it's been awhile since I have eaten there. Luckily, we made a reservation ahead of time as the restaurant was full and the lobby busy with tons of families. We were seated within a few minutes of arriving and our server, Tyler, greeted us right after we sat down with hot fresh bread that was so good! Much better than the New West ones we have gotten, for some reason. My boyfriend ordered the spicy sauce spaghetti with salad and I got the Penne with chicken and salad. As we're starting our new year's resolution of eating better, we stuck with our waters. The service at this location was attentive, friendly, and speedy! Tyler was efficient, nice, and worked really hard juggling multiple tables but always kept tabs on us and we got everything we need. We also had several other staff check in on us - the service here was better than any recent Cactus Club or more upscale restaurants that we have been to recently. My boyfriend and I were seriously impressed! Now I'm a slow eater and this is well known throughout my family, friends, colleagues, etc. but the service was so quick and efficient, without feeling rushed, we left within a hour and this is after enjoying my included ice cream and tea. The bill totaled $40 including tax. With the bonus $10 card plus $25 gift card, we only had to pay $5 plus a generous tip to our fantastic server, Tyler. We left full, satisfied, and with leftovers. Great location and staff!

The space was surprisingly good for conversation, even when it got busy, we never felt rushed or drowned out by noise. We ended up staying to chat for a while, and the servers didn't pressure us to leave, which I really appreciated. Service wasn't the strongest, but it looked like most of the team were younger staff who are probably pretty new, so I didn't mind too much. Overall, a comfortable spot for a casual meal and catching up with friends.
