THE. WORST. PIZZA. I. HAVE. EVER. HAD. I tried to think of a worse slice of pizza I have ever had in my entire 40 year lifespan, and possibly the cafeteria pizza in my elementary school back in 1993... The "lasagna" also tasted like HAMBURGER HELPER and not ONE SHRED OF MOZZARELLA could be found in it. I'm farely certain they used VELVETA or CHEDDER....

Came here for a second dinner with my partner and was pleasantly surprised. The service is extremely quick and the pasta is not only affordable, but very delicious. We got the rigatoni with Italian sausage. It comes with a very ample amount of sausage pieces. The sauce was really good, although a little too salty for my preference. And the pasta was a really delicious al dente. I really liked the chew to it, but it was a little too hard for my partner's preference. Understandable but it was still good for my soft mouth. The shop is really small so there's not a lot of space to sit down and eat. It's more of a takeout restaurant.

Located on busy Hastings street with little fold out tables and chairs out front. This place is no joke and makes really delicious fresh pasta! The menu has quite a few options for such a small place, but we ended up getting the rigatoni and pappardelle with peas and asparagus in truffle cream. Both pastas were delicious, and our little bougie 2yo yummed up the pappardelle. We didn't try the paninis, flatbread/pizzas, but definitely would come back to try some other menu items. All the staff were all super friendly, and were surprised by the complementary cannolis at the end of our meal. A little pricey for a take out style place, but the food is delicious and it's always great to support small local businesses!

Good place for a quick lunch for two. There is very limited space so I think they mostly do takeouts. Pasta was great and the staff were friendly too. I also got the cannoli and amaretti tiramisu to go. The cannoli had a nice ricotta flavour and crunchy shell. Amaretti tiramisu was a little too sweet for me, but I will give the classic tiramisu a try next time!

Every time I walk by seems like a really popular place. Finally tried their paninis and it was good! Average price is around 18$ and comes with olives and chips. Would love to try their pizza one day!! Great service too :)

It was crunchy, juicy, sweet and savory all at the same time. Will be coming back!

Goggle recommended I visit this place, since I was craving Italian sandwich. Glad it didn't disappoint! Staff friendly, Food was made fresh.

Nonna's Cucina food truck has opened a store on Hastings st They have a couple of seats in store and outside They mainly focus on Panini sandwiches and pasta I got their Nonna's Speciale sandwich $19.00 You can find their homemade bread, with fig's spread, sopressata, spicy capicollo, genoa salami, fiore di latte, peperonata, eggplant, tomato, arugula, dijon mayo They serve this with potato chips and olives The bread is crispy and so fragrant and the fig spread gives a good balance of sweet and savory to all the cold cuts I would come back to try their pasta!

+ It's not often that you come by Italian street food, and nonna does it best - who would've thought to put fig spread on a panini sandwich! This place's sandwiches were really unique so it really makes it stand out. - Not much seating on the inside so you have to sit outside, and the pizzas looked quite expensive sitting at around $30ish.

Decided to try this place after passing by a few times on Hastings St. it was a beautiful day so we sat in their outdoor seating area. We ordered the rigatoni pasta and the funghi pizza to share - both were so delicious!!! Rigatoni was so tasty and left us wanting more! We decided to order the full size of the pizza and figured we would take home leftovers. The dough was so light and fluffy and the topping amount to dough amount was perfect! Would definitely come here again to try their other dishes

    Ricotta Herb Gnocchi & Tiramisu

Very awesome pasta spot! It looks a bit of a hole in the wall (not dingy or anything, but very small and a little disorganized at the time that I visited - might not always be that way), but the pasta rivals much fancier Italian restaurants, not just in taste but also in presentation! I got the ricotta herb gnocchi and with just one bite I realized that I hadn't tried really good gnocchi up to this point. The gnocchi were so soft and almost melted in my mouth as I ate. Served in a delicious pesto cream sauce with sauteed vegetables. I especially liked the fennel. This dish left me feeling satiated but not heavy - it was a perfect portion size and also made right. I am not exaggerating when I say that I could've gone to a high-end Italian restaurant and been served the gnocchi exactly as it was and left very happy. So $18 for this is kind of a steal even if it's not budget pricing. I had a tiramisu for dessert - I love tiramisu and didn't realize they had it here so was pumped to try it. The dessert cups are prepared in plastic cups designed to be easy to take to go, so the presentation is obviously not as fancy as you get with the pasta, but still delicious! The cream had a great depth of flavour that you don't get with cheap tiramisu - it's the real stuff! This was $5, which is also a great price since it's cheaper than basically any dessert you'll get in a sit-down restaurant and tiramisu in particular can get expensive to make, so you know they're not overcharging. The caring service was another pleasant surprise given the size of the space! I and other customers were greeted very warmly when we entered and sent off graciously when we were leaving, the person who took my order cleared and wiped down the counter for me so I could sit without me saying anything and was really apologetic about the mess in a good-natured way, not the stressed-out food service worker way, though I assured them it was totally fine. And food will be brought to you if you dine in. Everything is made to order so it's not instant, but they prepared my food as quickly as I could reasonably expect it to be put together - I wasn't keeping track but it probably took about 10 minutes, if that. Lovely lovely place and I highly recommend! I'm not in this neighbourhood often but I'll definitely want to come back if I'm nearby again.

Visited the food truck and specifically wanted to try the Nonna's speciale' panini. It comes with chips and olives which was unexpected since I clearly didn't read the menu carefully but a wonderful surprise! Very nice workers on the food truck as well. It cost $19 which seems pretty standard. I really liked the speciale and the meatball. Hoping to go to the restaurant and try the pasta one day!

The service was also great, with multiple people checking in on us. The corkage, at $20, is very reasonable and the restaurant even comp'ed our tiramisu! We will miss it once it is gone. The food was quite decent. I thought the prices were a bit inflated for just pasta, but the portion size was pretty massive -- most of us took leftovers to go. The sauces in general were a bit bland and the pasta was definitely cooked to beyond al dente, which isn't my preference for dried pasta. That said, the toppings were generous, especially for the linguine crab that I ordered (would highly recommend!). Come by before they close permanently!

My friends and I recently shared a few dishes here, and while the flavors were truly impressive,…read morethe portion sizes left us wanting more. We started with the complimentary bread, which was a total highlight. Each person gets a fresh slice that has an incredible crust and a soft, pillowy center--dipping it into the oil and vinegar was the perfect way to start the meal. For our mains, the Gnocchi Asparagi e Funghi was my favorite - the gnocchi themselves were clearly handmade and had a great texture that didn't feel heavy. The earthy mushrooms and asparagus worked really well with the parmesan cream, which was rich but didn't overpower the other flavors. The Squid Ink Linguine ai Frutti di Mare was also solid; the lobster bisque base gave it a deep, savory saltiness that coated the clams, prawns, and scallops perfectly without making the dish feel too "fishy." We also tried the Candele Al Ragù D'Anatra. The duck ragu was tender and savory, and the combination of the parmesan fondue and aged asiago added a nice, sharp saltiness that made every bite really satisfying. Everything we ate was seasoned perfectly and tasted fresh, it's just a shame the portions were so small because the flavors were definitely there. The service was excellent and very attentive; I especially appreciated that they were constantly on top of refilling my water throughout the night. The ambience also hit the right note, making it a great spot for a night out. However, the portions are definitely on the smaller side and aren't super filling. Even though every dish tasted amazing, we weren't full by the end of the meal, so it's something to keep in mind if you're arriving with a big appetite.

The seafood ravioli was tasty and I'd have it again. The pappardelle was decent although didn't have as much depth or complexity of flavour as it could've. Service was nice enough. It's a cute, cozy spot in Gastown. Overall, it was just fine but given the abundance of great Italian restaurants in town I probably would go elsewhere when craving pasta.

The restaurant was cute, cozy, and could seat us right away so we decided to give it a try. We got the poached pear salad and enjoyed it! The pears were delicious and a very refreshing salad. It did come with burrata on top which was a bit disappointing since it wasn't gooey at all. For our mains, we split the pesto rigatoni and the special which was also a rigatoni with white wine, capers, shrimp and lemon. First off, the noodles are delicious on both dishes. They are clearly handmade in the best way possible. Very tender, delicate, and almost melt in your mouth. The pesto dish was perfect but again the burrata on top was disappointing since it was sort of tough/dry and not gooey. The special dish was very good but the lemon was quite strong. Initially it was a bit too much but it did grow on you over time and I did like the dish. We ended with a tiramisu and while it was delicious, there wasn't much of the bread/cake/cookie part as it was mostly cream. Overall, it was fun to try a new place but I expected a more for the price point. For $35 per plate plus salad and dessert it was a very expensive dinner and we weren't full.
