Portions are definitely family style! We ordered the rigatoni bolognese, vodka rigatoni, pepperoni pizza, and their house spaghetti and meatballs. Food: the food was incredible. All the pastas were perfectly al dente. My favorite was the vodka rigatoni and their pizza was a beautiful hefty square Detroit style like pizza and was probably one of the best pizzas I have had. The spaghetti and meatballs was delicious and you can taste the slow hours long simmer taste with sauce and ginormous meatballs. Tip: you definitely need reservations as we tried to adjust our reservation for an earlier dinner and that wasn't even possible because of how popular they are.

An absolute gem in North Vancouver and our favorite Italian restaurant in all of Vancouver! My…read morehusband and I were visiting last year for his birthday and ordered a pizza here one night and absolutely loved it. Fast forward to just a couple of weeks ago, and we were back in Vancouver to celebrate another special occasion, plus I was running a half marathon. We made reservations via Open Table about 1-2 months before our trip and noted that we were celebrating a special occasion (anniversary). When we arrived, the hostess and our server both made a point to wish us a Happy Anniversary, and even offered us some complimentary flutes of Prosecco! This was unexpected and so thoughtful of them! It was also the night before my half marathon, so I hesitated to drink, but what the heck...why not?! It was a special occasion too after all! (Even so, my hubby drank most of mine haha) We're both plant-based athletes and fitness professionals, so we truly appreciate that they have really good vegan and vegetarian options here. I got the Pomodoro pasta and my husband got the Pesto di Nocciole, plus we ordered the Charred Broccolini to share. Every dish was absolutely perfect and so full of flavor. Definitely enjoyed carbo-loading for my race! A huge thank you and grazie to our server, Gary! He's so kind and welcoming, and we appreciated him making our evening so special!

Tasty Italian food…read more We came in without a reservation on a Saturday at 5:30pm and it was busy. Many families eating early but glad we got a table by the door. We didn't realize there was happy hour ending at 6pm. We got the Polpette al forno ( meatball & homemade bread) $7 , Spaghetti bolognese special $29, and finocchiona pizza. The food tasted amazing, and their chili oil is a must The staff were very friendly, made recommendations and gave coloring sheet and crayons for our kiddo. It was very busy and glad we finished within the hour. The Ambiance was busy and cozy. Lots of street parking in the area.

Our experience started off terribly. We had made reservations, but when we arrived to the…read morerestaurant it took several minutes before anyone came to greet/seat us. After finally being seated, it took another extended period to be offered water and our menu. We were told by someone who I assumed was the manager that they were short staffed and they just changed their menu, so things would be a bit delayed during our experience. We could tell she was stressed out, but she still offered excellent customer service. There was another server who did not seem to know much about the menu. When we had a few questions about some of the items on the menu he said he wasn't sure. We got the garlic knots, braised lamb shank, sable fish, tartufo pizza, vongole, and tiramisu for 5 people. The garlic knots and pizza were definitely my favorite part of our meal. There were both delicious and full of flavor. The lamb was dry and overcooked, and although I liked the crispy skin on the sable fish, I wish the fish itself was more soft and buttery. The vongole was a touch spicier than I expected, but the pasta was perfectly cooked. The tiramisu was dusted with too much coco powder for my personal preference, but was otherwise good. I think taking into consideration the wait times and how some of the food missed the mark, I would rate our experience 3.5 stars. They offer a dog friendly patio.

Very cute mom and pop place The servers were fast and knew what they were doing. They had servers just for grating cheese and pepper and taking away plates and others just for taking your order Carpaccio (21) - we enjoyed the carpaccio. Not overly done with cheese or greens. Not too chewy either Prawns appetizer (22) - cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Could do with a little more vegetable Linguine vongole (26) - tasted like the sea. Noodles could have been less cooked but then again it depends on your audience. The clams tasted fresh and were sweet. Seafood pasta of the day (26)- had squid in it. Also tasted like the sea (in a good way). Pasta was the same as the one above except the toppings were different Arugula pizza (24) and Primavera pizza (24) - the pizza dough is obviously the same on both but both were delicious. Well cooked and chewy. The toppings were different. I preferred the meat one more just because I love proscuitto. Well balanced. Would recommend the pizza over the pasta Tiramisu (12.50) - pretty standard. Not overly sweet. Generous portion for the price. Wouldn't order it again Overall I thought the food was not bad and the service was pretty good. The seafood pasta flavours were something you can't make at home. The pizza was also good. This is a cute neighborhood joint. The prices are also good

I would definitely recommend sharing this dish. For the price, it is definitely worth. I wish it came with a bit more sauce but I loved the amount of cold cuts they put inside. Very nicely balanced. Overall would recommend this place for lunch PS if you order a pasta or a pizza I believe you get $5 off the pasta or pizza (I'm not sure if this is only during lunch)

I highly recommend ordering the meatball. B and I both agree they have the best meatballs that we have ever tasted so far/as of writing this review. They offer three kinds of oil for the pizza: parmesan, spicy and basil. I really like the parmesan flavor. service was great here. B got 2 of the Strathcona Lager. The honey & pepperoni pizza was delicious. They were very generous on the pepperoni. I really enjoyed it. The garlic bread was more than garlic bread. It was actually stuffed with cheese. loved our food a lot and highly recommend coming here if you have not. The decor was also nice and comfortable. One thing to note is that the reception at this restaurant is awful. I am guessing it is because of the metal roof or something. The service was great and we also liked how helpful our server was.

We called asking if we can use a Travelzoo coupon and still have the deal, and they ok'd it. Food: We were a party of 6. We came for the $49 DINNER FOR TWO deal. Then one of us found a Travelzoo coupon, which is a deal for 4 pax. It was perfect for us. There was plenty of food, more than we thought. We were so full. A few caveats: * The menu for both deals were laden with carbs. Pizzas and Garlic Bread were both very, very good although pizza, pasta and bread seemed a bit too much. Would have been nice to switch bread with wings or ribs. *We were served 3 kinds of oils to go with the pizza - Parmesan Oil, Herb Oil and Chili Oil. The oil flavors were not distinctive enough and the pizzas were good alone without the oils. Overall, we had a great time.
