Why Not! If you're on a quick run and eat breakfast tacos this is the place to be. It's right across from the domain in a shopping center. They are pleasantly nice and serve you quickly. Their coffee is amazing as well and they have other drinks so she can see on my photos. The ladies are professional and who doesn't like a breakfast taco at a reasonable price.! they make you smile and have a wonderful day!

Ordered: Glazed Old Fashioned Donut (~$1.25) Blueberry Glaze Donut (~$1.25) Aya's take: Family-owned non-chain donut shops seem to be a dying breed so it's awesome to still see places like Donut 7. This is a no frills spot with everything from donuts to tacos to kolaches. Both the Glazed Old Fashioned Donut and Blueberry Glaze Donut tasted fresh, not overly sweet, and were great delicious treats to go with our coffees. If you're in the area and want some solid donuts, check out this Austin-born business!

Place is incredible. How America should be. Great fresh tasting donuts and coffee. Plus love the cream filled options. Prices are awesome. Service at all the locations I've been to are super friendly. This is the type of place you actually WANT to tip more than 25%. God Bless Donut 7.

A great little spot that offers anything you could want for a quick, easy, fun breakfast! From tacos to kolaches to donuts and sweets, drop in and order whatever you're in the mood for. Service was quick, easy, and friendly, and we walked in around 9am on a busy Saturday morning and were in and out in less than 10 mins. The croissant kolaches are so yummy! Unique and the perfect marriage of 2 of my favorite things. Flaky, soft, buttery croissant with savory sausage and cheese. The donuts were good. Your standard donut shop stop. The cinnamon roll donut was my favorite, as were the cake donuts!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. No frills place quick bite or grab and go. Self service seatings. Good amount of donut varieties. Their donuts are cake like so if you like that, you will like them. I like them and liked that they're not too sweet. They are also not too big so can easily eat 2 or try 2 different flavors if you can't decide. We got a few kolache as well and they are delicious (balance of sweet and salty).

Best place for a quick pick me up. Great selection of breakfast goods but also lunch. We got three large jalapeño kolaches, dozen donut holes, two breakfast tacos, Bavarian creamed donut, and a coffee all for $21. GREAT pricing! Food was also delicious. Made fresh on the grill and microwaved as well. Coffee is good too. The service is fast and super friendly. The ambiance is fun, quick in and out for everyone.

This place satisfied a Sunday morning craving for donuts AND breakfast tacos! The donut selection was great compared to a popular local spot that was out of everything except creme filled oddities. The chocolate glazed, chocolate frosted, and plain old fashioned all hit the spot. The tacos were simple and delicious with great salsa. The location is convenient and in a shopping center with other popular businesses. It's a cute place to sit in or you can get takeout. It also has the friendliest, nicest staff. Highly recommend!

Had chorizo and egg taco and later a raspberry filled donut. All were delicious. I waited a while before eating the tacos and they were still hot due to how they wrapped them. First time trying them out and I'll be back

May be one of the best Mexican steak tacos I've had. Flavors sing on your tongue. We came here for breakfast and ordered the chicken, beans, and cheese taco, a Mexican steak taco, glazed donut and maple donut. Donuts were decent, but those tacos were amazing.

We walked from the hotel and ended up eating here twice! I had the extra cheesy volcan tacos they were so good I could smell how they tasted when I walked in. The carve asada was a little salty but it didn't stop me from devouring them! If you come in down the alley like we did you'll walk through what looks to be a little bar area walk-through there and then follow the signs to find the tacos. There were some people walking in with small children as we were walking out and they looked confused walking into the bar and I showed them just keep going you'll find the tacos and then they laughed. Everyone inside was nice and very friendly they run a super efficient operation and it's very clean. Soon as someone gets up somebody cleans the table because somebody's already waiting for a table. The whole thing is like an assembly line you get in line you order you get in line you get your food you walk around the corner and you get a table. Keep it moving people! This is just an amazing taco place with some amazing people highly recommend if you are in the area to go for it. The second time we came back and got more tacos to go and had to pay for parking around the corner so I don't know that it's convenient unless you're walking because parking was really expensive over there I think we paid $20 for 15 minutes.

We weren't even fully through day #2 and were already sick of BBQ. He broke the seal first and suggested Mexican. I found Taqueria De Diez in my bookmarks, and dinner plans were set. This was one of those meals where I was walking out with a pep in my step because I got exactly what I needed. I ordered a carne asada quesadilla + two tacos: Campechana and adobada. I don't even know what my favorite thing was. They were all excellent. The only slight miss were the beans, which were kind of oddly watery. But everything else was perfect, including the jamaica agua fresca. I ended up returning the next night and ordered a carne asada burrito. I didn't love it quite as much, but this is still an easy 5-star review for me. Note: this is not the easiest place to find. You literally have to walk in between some big, orange road blockers (is that what you call them?), to enter an alley. You then walk into a small bar, and then from there, you enter the actual restaurant. It's like a taco speakeasy, and it's glorious.

I ordered an al pastor, lengua, and asada taco, and honestly, they were all so good. The asada was my favorite, but the other two were right behind it. The chicken was shredded and could've used a little more seasoning for my taste. I'm also not a huge fan of lettuce in a burrito, so that may have played a part in it not being my favorite. That being said, I'm definitely coming back because those tacos were SO good. Next time, I want to give the burrito another shot and order it my way. Sixth Street's neon and noise are basically next door, the Capitol sits up the hill, and the whole area is packed with people, bars, and that classic Austin mix of polished downtown hustle and late-night chaos. Velvet Taco is pure counter-service: you walk right up, order at the register, and then grab a seat. There's plenty of seating, so even with a couple of kids in tow it was no problem finding a spot. The place leans hard into what can only be called white-people tacos--soft, sad flour tortillas that taste like they came straight out of a grocery-store package, loaded with every wild creation the kitchen can invent. Global mashups, brunch hybrids, burger impostors, the works. No one is pretending these are the real deal. I went for the chicken-and-waffles taco, which was actually built on a thin, real waffle instead of a tortilla. Surprisingly good--crispy, a little sweet, chicken holding its own. The burger taco tasted exactly like a cheeseburger that had wandered into a tortilla and decided to stay. We also tried the shrimp taco (fine), one daughter got the kids' chicken taco (perfectly kid-level), and the other ordered the chicken tikka (spicy, saucy, and very much in the "why is this on a tortilla?" category). Everything was okay. Comparable to Torchy's in that same creative-American-taco lane. If you're looking for a true Mexican taco, stay far away. But if you just want to play around with some decent flavors on a cheap flour store-bought tortilla while sitting in the middle of downtown Austin, this is your spot. Not my favorite. Glad I tried it. Won't be back.

I had only stopped by this Food Truck (area) to try Desnudo Coffee, and spotted this business. I had heard some good things about Veracruz, but I was planning lunch elsewhere. Well, that other spot was CLOSED ON WEDNESDAYS! Seeing my situation, I saw it as opportunity to try the options at Veracruz --- including the famous from Food Network, migas taco. I ordered 4 tacos: the migas, migas poblano, shrimp macha (!!), and the Dona Reyna tacos. All of these specific tacos were priced between $6 and $6.75 per taco, not bad in Austin, and not bad considering the quality of said tacos. As you can see from my order, I opted on the more "novel" choices and they did not disappoint; that said, I do HIGHLY recommend the two variations of the migas taco and the shrimp macha taco. Oh, the shrimp macha was so FIRE, the flavors were bold and smoky with a kiss of heat. The migas tacos were FULLY LOADED, and the scramble with the tortilla chips were flavorul. The steak taco had too much fat in it. If I was strictly bashing this review on the food. I'd give it a three. It's not worth the price. Now, the service seemed to be decent until I didn't put a tip on my takeout order. Things seemed to go south. When my name was called, I grabbed the small paper bag and paused. No guacamole. If I hadn't have looked, I could've walked a really long wasteful before noticing. Maybe long enough to not go back. The last behind the counter, said okay I'll get it. It felt like a chore. I said thank you and made the long walk fighting the heat of the dragon's breath once again. The story does not stop there, I thought 3 tacos, a drink, and guacamole couldn't honestly cost $43. The guilt of spending that kind of money on such little food that was also just average, screamed in my conscience. Well, that was because the woman also had not given me my tres leches, which was going to be for my wife.
