It's been a minute since I've visited Tee's, but I'm happy to report that the quality of their donuts has not faltered. The cake donuts are still solid and not oily (the right way to make a cake donut!) and the yeast donuts are light and iced appropriately. They have a lot of options for donut toppings like sprinkles, nuts, and cereal, with very pretty colors. If your kids or the kid in you don't see something that brings a smile, then you aren't a happy donut kind of person and shouldn't be buying donuts anyway! read more

Photos won't do this place justice. 9 years here and I discovered them this morning. I have to get out more! The potato taco includes egg and cheese on flour tortilla. I was greeted with a warm smile and very prompt service. Families know this happening place and kids were enjoying all the treats. Found Tee's Donuts about a mile away from where I was at the time and it's a little tucked away but they were open at 1pm! Lots of selections including my favorite blueberry! As well as a great selection of savory goods like kolaches. Got a couple blueberry donuts, kolaches, and filled donuts, which were filled with filling of choice on the spot and not pre filled! The blueberry was great and not too doughy and very packed with blueberry flavor. The kolaches were not all bread like many I've had recently! I LOVE living a mile away from Tee's. This place reminds me of when I was a kid. It's old school and no frills. The prices are insanely reasonable, and I thank them for that. The guys working the counter are just the best. They are guaranteed to make your day better with their kindness. The yeasted donuts are incredibly fluffy and fresh. The blueberry cake donut is exactly how you want it to be -- a slight crisp with a denser crumb, but still moist nonetheless. They pump out fresh donuts every few minutes; I love I can see them being made in the back. They also have simple and delicious breakfast tacos. My favorite is the sausage. read more

We love this local donut shop. The kolaches are the best in town - but we always still manage to walk away with at least a dozen donuts too! Service is friendly and fast. This is a little hidden away but completely worth it. It's a clean little shop with fast service. It's pretty utilitarian on the inside, so I wouldn't go here for a particular ambiance but the food is 100% worth it. I've tried a good number of things here: * Cake donuts are melt in your mouth delicious. * I actually also even really like their regular donuts, when usually I'm a cake donut or savory fan. * Kolaches are amazing ratio of sausage to really soft bread and you won't regret giving their large one a shot. I'd say these are one of my favorite places for kolaches. * Sour cream donuts are tender and moist. * Apple fritter was a little overly sweet for me, but I think that's more a personal preference than any flaw on their part. read more

This is a great little donut shop in our neighborhood that I've been going to for a better part of a decade. They've been around for about 15 years and switched owners maybe 3 years ago. They recently changed the name to Tee's because of another donut shop moving into the area named Super Donuts. The donuts are still delicious. They also have kolaches but I'm not sure if they do tacos anymore. The service has always been outstanding! read more

Super Donuts is now Tee's Donuts. Same owners, new name. And it's as good ever! We've had the delight of getting to know the sweet family behind Tee's Donuts for the past three years or so. Every time we come in, we are made to feel at home, whether it's the owner, his sister, or his son. *Everyone* in this family is so friendly and welcoming. We're always greeted at the door, and our young daughter loves to come here because they always make time to give her some love and attention. (I'd like to know their trick on how they can be so cheerful bright and early in the morning!) Came in here at about 12:15pm. Was craving donuts and tacos. Place is simple; it has a counter, cooler for drinks, and tables. It's hard to tell what kolaches and donuts are what so be sure to ask the staff. So far they have been pretty friendly. The tacos were good and the cream filled donuts taste as they should be. I give the donuts a 5 and the tacos a 2. The donuts are fresh and come in a variety of flavors. You can't go wrong with a donut from here. The apple fritters are really good, too. The tacos, however, are bad. Just get a kolache instead. The tacos are heated up in the microwave and are very dried out. The salsa they give you is similar to Pace picante. I wasn't expecting the best breakfast taco here, but I thought it would be better than what I got. read more

I stopped in this AM to buy donuts for my office as a nice Friday treat. As I bent down at the counter to search for the cinnamon sugar, I kindly asked if they had any, as I did not see them. The female clerk mumbled a response, so I stood up & repeated my question (w/ a hopeful look), as I could not hear her when I was bent down w the counter between us. In a snarky, dramatically-enunciated reply, she stated, "How. Many. Do. You. WANT?" I'm sure the shock on my face at such an unnecessarily rude response was written all over me face as I muttered a slow, shocked "Wow, I'm... sorry?" Rather than smiling & apologizing if she came off rude, she snapped back AGAIN w attitude that would rival that of a 16 year old, "Im not being rude. I told you, but you kept asking." Right. I guess I'm just an idiot for not hearing your initial, half-assed response from behind the counter glass. I told her, "You know what? Nevermind," and walked out. Her only response: "OK!" (In the cheeriest tone she'd used all AM). Wow. Word of advice from someone who manages a small business: Get that woman away from the front counter so you don't lose more long-time customers like me. Also, 6:30am is WAY too early to act like a you-know-what; bite your tongue & provide quality customer service... Or your small business won't last long. read more

Don't get the kolaches! I have gotten them multiple times because they look delicious, but unfortunately the sausage meat they use is so low quality that it started grossing me out trying to eat it. The coffee and donuts are fine, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. But I would be willing to pay double for an acceptable quality kolache. read more

A co-worker brought in donuts from Super Donuts last week. Although I had already eaten breakfast, I could hardly contain my excitement. I love donuts, and after seeing a sign for Super Donuts earlier in the week, I had been hoping for an opportunity to consume Super Donuts' new offerings. As part of my research for the consuming public, I consumed as many different donuts over the day as I could, while still being fair to my other sugar-craving co-workers. And here's what I have to report... glazed donuts and donut holes were tasty; chocolate iced yeast donuts were a bit disappointing, as neither the icing nor the unglazed yeast donut dazzled me; the cake donuts, both plain and blueberry, were pleasant surprises. Overall, I still miss the Dunkin Donuts on every block in Chicago and Boston (not that Dunkin has the best donuts in the world, but they're pretty darned good at a well-run franchise), but Super Donuts will be a satisfactory fill-in when I'm in the area. read more

Finally got by this place for the first time. I still can't get used to Kitchen Door being gone. This place is about 100 yards down from where it used to be. They have a great selection of donuts, kolaches and other bakery goods like croissants and breakfast tacos, sausage biscuits, etc. I also like that they're open 7 days a week at 6am. I'm sure I'll be getting stuff from here on the way to work some days. I read how good their apple fritters are, and as someone who loves a good apple fritter I can say theirs may be the best I've ever had. I also got old fashioned glazed donuts and ham and cheese kolaches. I wish I could say these were as good. They weren't bad, I just thought the donut was no better than those at HEB and I definitely disagree w/ the other reviewer about Super Donut's kolaches. Kolache Factory's are much better in my opinion. I always like the ham chopped in a kolache and theirs is just a rolled up lunchmeat slice. The kolache itself also looks more like a Mrs. Bairds dinner roll more than a kolache. Regardless of these things, I can't wait to try the choc covered donuts, eclairs and custard filled ones. They sure look good. Service is fast and friendly. It seems like it's a family-run business and these folks are working very hard. I have been searching high and low for a replacement Apple Fritter since Dunkin Donuts got rid of their fryer. I've tried Randall's (too dry), Krispy Kreme (not enough apple flavor), the famous Lone Star Bakery in RR (wrong apple flavor and just too weird to eat it with orange glaze), and several other wanna-be's. Super Donuts, I swear, makes them identically to the way Dunkin used to! The same apple pie filling with apple bits, the same dough, and the same perfectly done glaze. Ah, sweet mystery of life at last I've found you... The other donuts I tried today included a dozen of their regulars. A good ,dense, yet moist, blueberry cake donut, a few of the usual jelly filled, and a chocolate frosted creme filled. And they threw in a dozen holes free to boot... mixed cake and glazed. The glazed donut holes were fresh and airy. $5.50 for a dozen, and 0.99 for my fritter. Good deal. read more

When I review donut shops, there is normally a part of me that just wants to spit the facts. That is boring. In fact, I always try to tell a story when talking about these little mom and pops that crank out goods that are ridiculously bad for you. I offer you a childhood donut-filled memory. My friend and I were at a church Laser Tag lock-in until 6AM. My mother picked us up, and I had this sixth sense with her (don't all momma boys and mommas have that connection?) in which I always knew when there would be donuts at the house. So, I walked in at 6:15AM. Lo and behold, donuts were on the table. I was still somewhat on a Laser Tag high, so I engulfed 7 full donuts. This is most likely upwards of 200 calories. Then, as expected, I passed right out. Until next time... donut joint readers. Super Donuts is one fine establishment. They hit all the areas in terms of offerings: cinnamon rolls, fritters, assorted frosted, assorted sprinkles, and simple hot dog rolls. The cinnamon roll tray was honestly one of the most sickeningly delicious looking baked good containers ever. The buns were literally sitting in a 1" pool of frosting. They double-wrapped my cinnamon roll in parchment in order to keep my hands some what sane and sanitary. I ordered the cinnamon roll that literally had a mountain of raisins on top. When I opened my bag, it was the walnut one. No complaints. As expected, my cinnamon roll had a whole clump of walnuts. The dough itself could have been more soft and tender. Oh well; I cannot complain, as $1.59 for a huge piece of fat-laden carbohydrate-dense breakfast staple is a steal. All of my favorite offerings of a local donut shop were found in this one item: blueberry cake donut with chocolate glaze topped with peanuts. Why do I like cake ones so much? Well, the dense, crumbly texture is a good change from all of those fluffy, plain glazed fried goods I so often go for. The apple fritter was a bit more dry than I would have liked. The flavor was all there, though. Support Super Donuts! Sounds like a fundraiser... far from it. Just go buy donuts, for crying out loud. read more

(Lack of 5 stars due to sprinkle variety) This is a great little donut shop off Far West. I walked here for donuts a few weeks back and drove there this morning - open both times! They do close up around 1 or 2pm, but the human body doesn't require donuts at that time of day! Anyway, since I live in the 'hood I'll be going back to Super Donuts. It's a great addition to Far West, they've got great sausage croissants, breakfast tacos, kolaches and of course donuts. Friendly employees, too! And cheap! read more

My sister came into your establishment today with her service dog & little girl she was babysitting. The woman at the cashier asked if she had service dog documentation my sister showed her and the cashier scoffed and said "Ya right", my sister then placed her order, paid, received her change and then proceeded to give it to the cashier as a tip for the gratuity jar and the cashier proceeded to scoff and verbatim said "No thank you, keep your change." This is so beyond rude & does not reflect customer service, we will not be inclined to return to this establishment. How horrible is it to make someone with a documented service dog, who wasn't even making a sound/any sort of disturbance, that is absolutely terrible. Will bot be returning. read more
