I had a craving for rotisserie chicken. The restaurant I used to have was already closed at 9:30pm. Luckily I found this restaurant on my way home and excited to try out. The chicken is soft and tender and well marinated. The service is good and quick. The decoration in the restaurant is pretty nice as well. I will come back again to try other dishes.

I have no clue why the reviews are so low - you can easily tell from the photo that the food is A+++. Service was quick, efficient and helpful when we requested suggestions. We felt very comfortable coming in on a Friday night and had an amazing date. Great sangria, too! If you choose to get these dishes delivered, I understand fully why you're missing out. I can't wait to come back and try more seafood!

Food was very salty. Wound up throwing it all out. We purchased the rotisserie chicken and yellow rice

The first thing placed on the table was their famous aji verde, the vibrant green sauce. I couldn't resist dipping my fork in for a taste--spicy, fresh, and absolutely addictive. We ordered a spread that truly showcased the menu: Mama Juanita's rotisserie chicken, perfectly seasoned and juicy; corvina; and a ceviche mixto loaded with shrimp, octopus, calamari, red onions, cilantro, rocoto pepper, and lime juice. It was so refreshing and flavorful that I found myself spooning up every last drop of the citrusy marinade. The lomo saltado was another standout--a savory Peruvian stir-fry with marinated strips of beef, served alongside crispy fries. We also added a side of maduros, their sweetness balancing the meal beautifully. The ambiance was casual, comfortable, and simple, with unique walls decorated in intertwined tree branches that added a rustic touch. The service matched the food--our waiter, the busboy, and the manager were all attentive, engaging, and genuinely friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Dessert was Tres Leches Cake. One bite in, and it basically melts in your mouth- no chewing required. It's sweet, soggy and by the end, you're not sure if you ate cake... or drank it--but either way, no regrets. Overall, it was a memorable meal full of bold flavors, great company, and warm hospitality.

The place was cute, big screen tv & friendly folk. We placed our order & part of the food arrived (the appetizers my husband had ordered as his main course) but my entree didn't show up for almost 20 minutes! We had tickets for the Lion King Broadway show so I asked about my entree & they told me it was being prepared. Since we were short on time, I talked to the hostess, explained the situation & asked if they could cancel my entree since I had already shared the appetizers with my husband & didn't want to inhale my main course before running out to the show. She was very nice about it. Apologized for the delay (which wasn't really their fault) & offered me a free drink if I came back. I never got to take her up on that offer because we left New York the following day. I didn't get to sample any of the entrees but the appetizers were decent & just for the customer service I would go back.

Upon being seated, we were presented with a regular menu, so I had to specifically ask for the lunch special one. We were also served tasty, salty, oh so crunchy corn nuts with savory sauces. My friend and I shared the Fried Calamari, which also came with fries! This was a nice surprise. The Fried Calamari was light with a nice crispiness to it. The fries were thick with true potato taste. For my entree, I went with the Lomo Saltado. I really enjoyed this dish, which consisted of sliced steak with red onion, tomato, steak fries, scallions, and mixed in a wonderful, deeply flavorful sauce, along with a side of white rice. The steak was tender, slightly charred, well seasoned, and juicy. The veggies were just the right consistency and added a fresh element. I also tried my friend's Veggie Fried Rice, and this was so tasty! The rice was cooked perfectly, with all the ingredients and spices making for a delightfully flavorful dish. Service was solid. Our waiter was welcoming and everything came out in a timely manner. The Lunch Special was amazing and so affordable! Even the regular menu appears to have reasonable prices. I would definitely return for dinner to try the Fettuccine a la Pesto Filet Mignon or Grilled Salmon.
