10/27/25: I came for a solo happy hour. Cantina 33 is a hidden gem serving up flavorful Latin eats. The vibes are colorful and cozy, and the drinks? Only $8-$9. I had the Sangrita and Pisco Punch. I got the Cantina Platter, 3 tacos, wings, and chorizo wontons for just $20! I definitely had leftovers. Everything was so good, especially those chipotle wings and the sweet & savory wontons topped with caramelized onions and honey. The carnitas tacos were perfectly satisfying. Cantina 33 seems to be a hidden gem amongst brunch spots! Went on a Sunday around 1:00 PM for a late brunch. We had the place to ourselves which we were surprised by! The decor is really cool and the music could've been my exact playlist. Lots of early 2000's r&b and hiphop so the vibe was perfect. Service was friendly and efficient! We opted for the bottomless brunch. For only $40 which includes sangria or mimosas, an appetizer, and an entree, I thought it was a great deal. Our server offered us pitchers if we would be sticking with our drinks, which we did so that was greatly appreciated. The appetizers were tasty! Really enjoyed the arepita sliders. I think the move for an entree is the steak and eggs. You get a sizeable portion and the flavor was good. Giving this spot 4 stars based on the overall value, although I did have an unfortunate incident at the very end which tainted the experience a bit. Bought a Puls'd brunch deal for 90 mins bottomless tacos and drinks. Shrimp tacos were the star of the meal. Chicken and carnitas were mid. Drinks were great. Mimosa was really good and loved the margarita. If I went back, I'd focus solely on the shrimp tacos and margaritas. Spot was pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon, but the playlist was a vibe. Brunch was supposed to be 90 mins. Reso was for 1:30p, which was around the time I arrived. Tried ordering one last round of drinks and tacos at 2:50p and was told the 90 mins were up. Ultimately ended up getting them, but it didn't feel good having to go back and forth about an additional margarita and 2 tacos; especially when I knew I was right. I'd suggest monitoring and noting when your 90 mins begins to ensure they don't try to cheat you out of time and gaslight you about it. read more

Nice spot for some good drinks and a quick bite! A friend and I stopped in on Monday at 4:30pm for a quick hangout. There was only 1 other person inside sitting at the bar as I believe they had just opened at 4. Carlos the bartender greeted us right away and seated us! He was super friendly and attentive, he gave us good suggestions and feedback, and made us feel very welcomed. It's not a big spot but it's nice and cozy with adequate enough seating/space. The decor is super cute and comfy! They had a happy hour going which was a plus! Drinks: we started off with SangriTas (sangria and margarita mixed), these were really yummy! Round 2 I had the passion fruit mojito and my friend had the strawberry- they were both tasty and refreshing, not strong though, but that's mojitos I guess. We finished off with the Pisco punch- this one really packed a punch and was tasty! Food: started off with the chicken anticucho (chicken skewers). It was good, the chicken was tender and not over cooked and we were given 3 different sauces on the side which went well. We also got the arepita sliders, O.M.G! These were sooo yummy! The shrimp was seasoned to perfection and the avocado and everything else on it was the perfect accompaniments! For entrees I had the chaufa mixto (it's a fried rice with a mix of all the meats but I passed on the beef) and my friend had the jalea de mariscos (fried seafood platter). I LOVED my chaufa! We have been more than a handful of times and never leave disappointed. My kid loves the chicken sandwich, and my sister-in-law and I love the margaritas. . Like others have mentioned, they include the tip, and I don't mind. I am sure they have their reasons for that. If I lived close, I'd be on the HH wave bi-weekly. I came here last year during the pandemic when only outdoor seating was available. The food was good, but it definitely was even better when I returned. The first time I went we ordered ceviche, corn off the cob, wings and tostones, tallarines verde, and lomo saltado. Everything was really good. This time we ate indoors. They had really fun decor with an Instagrammable sign and Halloween decorations everywhere. The best part of course was the meal though. As a Peruvian I can totally vouch for this spot! Been meaning to come here for a while and I'm so happy I wasn't completely disappointed First off I got the Anticuchos with chicken and Huancaina, Traditional Ceviche, and Peruvian Wings. The anticuchos were juicy and tender and the ceviche was so fresh! On the other hand I would not get the Wings again, didn't care for them or like the breading. They were soft and I would have liked them crispier. For dinner we got the jalea and arroz con mariscos. Both were super yummy! We ordered pina coladas, which did not come after waiting 20 mins and the waitress and bartender were just talking so i ended up calling the waitress over and asking for our drinks. The drinks came about 5 mins later. I ordered nachos with beef i did not like them at all. They were store bought chips, they might of been Tostitos chips. They were really salty. There was not enough toppings, my meal was all chips. The tops consisted of tomatoes, onions, melted cheese, sliced beef, and jalapeños. They present it nicely in a coffee can they pull off to have it fall on your plate. But that doesn't make up for the flavor. My friend liked her salmon she got, it came with potatoes on the side and spinach with cheese. She did not like my chips either. The guy from the kitchen who brought out my food noticed i didn't really eat my food and i just told him i don't feel like there was enough toppings. I didn't mention the chips, but i should of.
