And the hubs was able to use their restroom while we picked up our to go order. I have a soft spot for Domino's since my grade school served slices growing up. Plus, I think they offer great deals at $8 per two topping med pizza. Tho this used to apply to any sauce, topping, etc. Not sure when that changed, but it's a bummer they no longer include different pizza sauces such as alfredo and all toppings such as chicken, etc. (I know some locations still include those "premium" sauces and toppings in this deal.) Broooooooo I think I'm getting too old. I was picking up an online order and there were multiple people with dogs just standing and chilling outside. Waiting on an order? Maybe, but most likely friends of an employee who was working and maybe trying to catch her on her break. Or convince her to go on break. I don't care, it's making Dominos look like the place to be. Oh my gosh it's so busy there's a line?? I walk in and there's an employee screeching at her two friends behind the counter. She kept screaming at them to leave but they wouldn't. At first I thought this was going to be an issue and I'm ALLLL ready to have her back but turns out it was just very very very loud friendly banter. To the point that her co workers flinched every time she shouted. They flinched every time she cussed (sh*t and b*tch) but didn't try to correct her so she's either got some seniority but is not the manager, or they could care less about customer service, or they're of weak character and have no pride, standards or integrity for or at their job. Both employees looked meek compared to the one yapping. Everyone looked tired and unhappy. Hey here's the tea: I know how much her car costs and one of the dudes with the dog is her back up plan and ALL of those people milling around inside and out are waiting for her but she's really good to her friends. Like she'll make them a pizza and not charge em because she loves and misses them. It's a Dominos in Placerville. What do you expect from the people who work there to those that order food from there? Including me. I'm getting old because maybe if I was 20 years younger I wouldn't have cared but in this climate and economy, if I want to spend money on not good for me food, I want to do it where I don't have to hear someone cussing and screeching to the point where everyone inside has a visible reaction of discomfort. Quality of food poor, quality of service even worse. Driver was rude and when we called management, the guys name was Mike, he was even more insolent. He proceeded to argue and then hang up on me twice. I don't think the owner of this location would appreciate this very much. We'll be getting a complete refund on this and the tip that was not warranted. read more

Absolutely top tier service! The manager Mike was in there all by himself on a very extremely busy night. ( Except the delivery man that was running in-and-out) At 9pm, Mike was literally running from oven to pizza prep to phone to cash register to serving the pizza and it was just an amazing thing to watch! And he was doing it with a good attitude even though you could tell it was very difficult and demanding. Obviously this man is very focused & very concerned about the customer and about the quality of everything. He was doing it with a good attitude even though I could tell it was very stressful. Obviously this man is very, very concerned about the customer and about the quality of the products and services that his store has for the community here in Placerville. My pizza was awesome and my salad was awesome and I am just amazed over and over about how Domino's Pizza has gotten so much better than 20 years ago. These employees are rude and like to pick fights with you when you ask about your order after it's running 20 minutes past the ETA. Poor kids can't handle a Saturday night rush and get overwhelmed easily and think it's necessary to direct their anger and emotions towards the customer. Id hate to see how they would respond in an actual busy setting if they can barely cater to Placerville. I didn't even want to put 1 star bc of Horrible HORRIBLE Customer Service. I ordered a pizza on the app and apparently forgot to add my apt number. The driver texted me to ask what number but I didn't see it right away. After waiting 2 mins from the original text he said he was going to drop off and "hope that I get it" he did not try and call or send another text or try and resolve the issue he was just going to drop it off and hope for the best. When I told which apt number he did deliver to me. He was pissed because he dropped it off at apt 2 and I'm at apt 5. Mind you I live in a tiny apt building you don't have to go far. Then after he left he sent a nasty text to reiterate that I need to put my apt number because it "wasted his time" his time of 2 mins? People make mistakes and it's my bad if I didn't put apt number but what happened to being friendly about it. We then tried to call the store to complain but both managers hung up and only wanted to say we didn't have apt number and did not make any attempt to apologize for the drivers shit attitude. I guess its perfectly fitting to deliver pizza to your customers that has been sitting in a warmer for an hour. (Not an exaggeration, literally when it said it came out of the oven to the time it got to our house). Please keep in mind I live about quarter mile away. It's common sense, if you are so busy it will take that long to go out, don't start the pizza yet... I don't know what magic Dominos adds to their food but its always amazing from THIS location. One time we went to a Dominos in BFE Nevada off of I-80, it was awful. Undercooked, slimy and gross. The food from here is always great, I order online and my husband picks it up on his way home from work. Thank you Domino's for letting me sit on my couch and put my feet up while I drink spiked seltzer water after distance learning my two young children all day and order food online. we ordered through the domino's app at 5:30 PM. Our order was for 2 large pizzas. The delivery driver arrived at our home just before 7:00 PM. The order he had was wrong. it was only one pizza, a medium. The driver told us that he had delivered our order to someone else and that he would take care of it. He then left. I called the store to see how long it would take to get the order correct. The person who answered the phone was very rude. I asked to speak with the manager or supervisor and was told there was not one. He refused to give me his name. He then said that we would get our order when we got it and hung up. An hour later my wife called the store to find out the status of our order. The order had not been restarted. She was told that they could not get to it because they were short staffed. Eventually they told us that they would void the payment. Not once did anyone say anything along the lines of we will make this right. The attitude was tough luck. Just called them up to order another one of their overpriced pizzas and they said I was outside of their delivery area (which they've delivered to numerous times in the past). I live 3.1 miles / 8 minutes away from their store.. I know I am being a lazy American having pizza delivered but give me a break. If you're not delivering this close, you're not delivering to anyone and that's starting to infringe on false advertising. Round Table said the same thing. Round Table has been losing people for years for price gouging but Domino's did a great job of regaining customers under their previous CEO who saved their company. Ordered two large 3 topping pizzas a few days ago. This location is quite large inside and the staff immediately upon my stepping in the door welcomed me and took my order. My pizza was made and in my hands in under 15 minutes. Once again my hat is tipped to the management at Dominos who admitted very publicly that their pizzas of years ago were just awful. The new pies they turn out are quite good...and at $8 for a takeout 3 topping large it is just a crazy value. Staff was friendly, the operation was well run, and the pies were just as good cold later in the evening as they were when hot out of the oven. That is the true test for me. Hats off to you Domino's. Read whole story please, this young lady named Demi is very rude. I am a paradise fire victim that lost everything to the camp fire. I have a wife 2 kids , dog and a cat. Today I tried to to order a pizza for my family from the dominos location in Placerville on Broadway. Me and my well behave dog entered the dominos location on Broadway to order a pizza. I was not greeted, the manger at the time a young lady named Demi said " your dog can't be in here , it not sanitary because we make food." I said , ok I ll put him outside. Then I came back in and said ," sorry my dog has to come with me everywhere right now, because I am a paradise fire victim and my family just lost are home." Demi then said," can you move your dog away from the door." I said there no where else to put him. She didn't care that I was a fire victim at all. So a nice lady inside that was eating said , " I will hold your dog while you order." I said thank you and went back inside. The young lady named Demi would not even look at me when she was at the register and when I asked her something she turned her back and walked away. Keep in mind that I am being very nice despit her rude attitude towards me. The service was horrible and rude at the least. Since this tragic event has happen to my family and friends, I have meet so many kind people. Now I have meet two really rude people that just don't seem to care.
