BLT with tater tots
Robert C.

Limited open hours, but that's okay. Just plan your visit. the restaurant was very clean. The servers were busy helping their customers. My coffee cup was never empty. I ordered the BLT with tater tots. Service was quick without being rushed. Great place for a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch

Ordered thru DoorDash at 11:18 am food here at 12.42 pm for two simple breakfast. Dollies special $11.99 & sausage with egg sandwich $9.99. Only 6.7 miles from Covina to my house La Puente.

Crispy bacon w/perfectly scrambled well done "add-on" eggs.

Food is great. Service has always been great. Ambiance is dated but the food and service makes it worth it. Prices are average as well.

Undercook hashbrown

This restaurant is very out dated and dirty. We ordered Dollis special for $8.99. Comes with 2 eggs, 2 sausages or bacon, hash brown or fries and toast or zucchini bread. Our server was very nice but the kitchen is really slow. Our hash brown was undercooked and so soggy. The kitchen asked to take our half eaten plate to reheat it. I said no to that. That's kinda gross to do that. Anyways food was just blah. I wouldn't come back.

Came here after my sons football and this was 10 minutes from the field. Walked in and didn't realize it was more towards a senior spot. Our waiter was sweet and very attentive. Inside is very old and dinghy. My son the build your own breakfast burrito. Very disappointed in the size. He likes it and that's all that matters. I got the Dollis special, which was eggs, choice of potatoes and sausage. It was ok. I didn't like the sausage. It had a sweet taste to it. We ordered pancakes on the side which were ok. Overall, we won't be returning, but I'm happy we tried the place. Happy yelping!

I tried this restaurant today because I love breakfast food. I ordered the two hot links and eggs which were delectable. The links were very tasty and of great quality. They have a variety of breakfast choices to choose from. Vegan food, turkey, chicken, etc. The service was good and the ambiance was an old-school mom-and-pop style restaurant. It's very clean inside with televisions all around the restaurant. The prices are reasonable. They serve beer and mimosas. They close at 1 p.m. during the week and 2 p.m. on weekends. Best breakfast place I have been to in a while. The food tastes like your mom made it :). Will be a recurring customer. Plenty of parking in the lot.

The service has been great! prices are good especially given the portions. There's a lot of lighting and the booths are clean/comfy. Now i know the burrito isn't pictured here but ive had it twice and they are huge and do not disappoint! French toast is good too, nothing crazy or overwhelming

Chicken Breakfast Burrito

A mom and pops diner with great service and interestingly tasty food. Craving for a different breakfast experience and spotted this place and thought to try. The place is dated but clean with ample parking space. There was a sign on what seemed to be a door but wasn't sure it was pointing to where the entrance is when it meant that door was the actual entrance to the restaurant. Went on a Sunday morning, wasn't too busy. Got seated right away. The server was very attentive to our needs. Service is fast as well. Tried their chicken burrito which was surprisingly very delicious! Portion size is moderate, has the right amount of meat and eggs. It comes with an option to either their red or green sauce which had the right hint of spiciness to it. Price is very affordable and overall, not too shabby.

I wish they charge more but give a better quality steak. But the way they flavored the steak was very good!! Then we ordered the smoked salmon benny, very delicious! Loved everything about this dish! I would come back for this! We also ordered their signature dessert, Dutch baby, it tasted exactly like bread pudding. It was good but not what I imagined how it would taste. So trying once was enough for me. Service was attentive! Everything else was great. Will be back occasionally!

Servers kept walking past our table without checking in and honestly looked kind of lost or wandering around aimlessly. Luckily they keep water pitchers on the tables already filled, which now makes perfect sense considering how long it takes to get service. Smart move on their part. I ordered the avocado toast with a side of bacon, and my husband ordered the chorizo skillet. The coffees and my food came out quickly, but his never did. Instead, we watched an older server walk around the restaurant with his skillet and bacon, stopping at multiple tables asking if it belonged to them. Twice she set it down at other tables before being told it wasn't theirs. The third time, she finally brought it to us. That seems like it should be a health issue, what if someone else had stuck their fingers in it not knowing. By then, my husband didn't even want it anymore because it had already been sitting in front of other people. To their credit, they remade it, but then we waited another 15 minutes for his food while I had already finished eating. We actually watched another couple sitting next to us get so frustrated because their order was completely forgotten. After waiting forever with no food and barely any acknowledgment, they eventually just got up and left. Overall, cute spot and really good coffee, but the service was incredibly disorganized and the food mix-up was a huge turnoff. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

I dont even like pancakes nor pineapple. STACKS, GET THIS ON THE MENU! I'm not sure if there will be another page for this business when more information is out. But I wanted to leave a review either way, in case people still come looking for this page. I went on their last day at the physical location. There was definitely a feeling of community and good vibes. It wasn't so packed but there were plenty of conversations being had in this small space. It seems like they've cultivated a lot of trust and adoration with their customers. It was my first time here so I went with their chilaquiles rojos and a cafe de olla latte (hot). It didn't take long to come out. At first I thought the portion size of chilaquiles was on the smaller size for the price, but once I tasted them, I didn't mind it. They were so good! Flavorful, covered in red sauce, I love that they topped it with cilantro and onions, it gave it a burst of freshness. The egg was cooked perfectly (they gave me the option of scrambled or fried egg). It wasn't spicy at all (I kinda wish that it was). The latte was amazing as well. You really taste the piloncillo, but it's not overly sweet. I would go just for that drink alone. Everything about my visit was great. I would suggest following them on their socials to get updates about their next business ventures and hopefully news about where to find them next.

It's simple but full of character, featuring cholo-style artwork inspired by Blood In, Blood Out, along with actor signatures that give the place a cool, authentic vibe. George then offered samples, which honestly sealed the deal. I don't like seafood at all, but the clam chowder was unbelievably good. And the biscuits and gravy? No exaggeration--the best gravy in the area. Nothing else comes close. The décor is another highlight. The Blood In Blood Out theme throughout the café is very cool, especially seeing the murals on the walls signed by actual cast members who have visited.
