I need to come here more often. I forget about this place because of the location, but each time I visit I'm thoroughly impressed. Food is great, service is great and price is on par with every other burger stand of its kind. Actually ate on property this time and service was truly exceptional. To see young kids with such customer service skills is refreshing. Can't find that at a fast food joint. Burger combo was great. Able to upgrade to onion rings for $2 and steak dinner, which is actually a steak sandwich, fries and salad was great too. Added cheese to the fries for another $1. All in all really great food which satisfied a craving and surprisingly great service too. Not sure why people are hating on this place. Did we get lucky the couple times we have been here? Small burger joint located on the corner of Gladstone St. & Vernon Ave. with a private parking lot and a drive-thru. Their menu consists of burgers, sandwiches, hotdogs, salads, burritos, tacos, breakfast, and dinner plates. I ordered their 'Turkey Sandwich' and a 'Chicken Salad'. The sandwich was served on wheat bread with mayo, lettuce, and tomato. The salad was very basic which contained lettuce, tomato, pickles, cheese, and chicken, however, it was fresh and the ranch dressing gave it a good, satisfying flavor. Everything was tasty. The food is prepared as you order so do not expect speedy service. Prices are fair. Customer service was great at the drive-up window. I love me some Breakfast Burrito! This was a large and tasty burrito with best price in the area. From Monrovia to Pomona I have not found a better price. Under $23 for 2 breakfast burritos. 1 bacon and 1 bacon and sausage. The service was excellent. They brought us our burritos and refilled our waters. This spot feels a little smaller than similar restaurants, but there was plenty of room. It was comfortable although a little dated. We will definitely be back. read more

This place is a time machine back to an old school dinner. The menu doesn't look like it's changed in years and that's for the better. They have reasonably priced diner food and great portions. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries, but I've heard good things about the steak sandwich. The burger patty was a little thin compared to the lettuce and buns. They offer American classics and a few Mexican items like tacos. The breakfast menu also looked like it was worth trying, so I'll have to go back. They have a drive thru and a small parking lot. The staff is very friendly and they're always tidying up the dining room. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating to choose from after placing your order at the counter. I love how the kitchen is up front and visible from the dining area since I enjoy watching the chefs cook up the food. I usually don't do bad reviews but this has to be stated!! I went last night around 9:30p ( 30 minutes before they closed ) something told me to pull forward & look through the window ..and as the guy was cooking my food he didn't have any gloves on plus he's cleaning up at the same time. I asked for him to put on gloves and redo my order, they refused not to due to them having to close in 20mins. I asked the worker in the drive thru ... who's in charge, he stated "Don't worry about that!" with an attitude. And still told me to take my food. I was livid and asked for my refund. I called multiple times the next day and asked for the manager, one of workers stated that they're not there and when I asked him for their name, he stated he didn't know, I just work here. How you don't know the manager name but you're an employee!! All in all I will never come back to this dirty place. The employees are filthy and liars. read more

It wasn't what I expected for $13.00 - lettuce, chicken breast, cheese & a few tomatoe chunks..it lacked croutons, onions, pepperoncinis, egg even.. when I got home I added all this to make it worth $13 to me.. the chicken tasted great but for that price they need to think about adding something to it oh wait I forgot I forgot three packets of crackers with it.. It seems now the cooks can't tell the difference between potato's and beans - I ordered a bacon & egg breakfast burrito and specifically asked for refried beans and NO potatoes, ...Well the burrito was practically ALL potatoes and it barely had any bacon in it. I know it was my order because I also asked for no hot sauce, just onion and cilantro and that was the only part the cook got right. This burger joint has been here for years and they have really great food. We've had their breakfasts at a very good price and the bacon, eggs and hash browns are great. The delicious juicy burgers are really great and everything is fresh and the place is always packed. What I do love....is their oversized steak sandwiches...along with a huge plate of crispy fries. A friend of mine took me here to buy me an order of onion rings. They were the best onion rings I have ever had from a fast food restaurant! The onions they use are fresh and they have a lot of flavor to them . They are nicely spliced and battered. These are the best onion rings I have ever encountered in my 71 years. It was a bit of a wait so you have to be patience but it's well worth it. They're very generous and the onion rings aren't cramed into a bag they're laid out nicely so they have a perfectly sliced onion ring shape. You could dip in catsup or Ranch dressing. Ordered fries and large chocolate shake - fries were cold and greasy, shake had completely melted and was a 2/3 cup of chocolate milk.
