This Dog Haus is an excellent place to grab a quick bite and watch sports games. There's free parking nearby. With plants of indoor and outdoor seating, it's a great for pet owners (dog friendly). They serve hot dogs, sausages, chicken, burger dishes. Their beer menu is also vast. I tried the chili the kid hot dog for $11.99, which has cheese, chili, aioli. I personally didn't love it - it was on the spicy side and didn't have a lot of chili in it. I enjoyed the Das Brat sausage for $10.99. The carmelized onions and spicy mustard paired nicely with the bratwurst. The portion size, quality, and cost all seem appropriate. The service is excellent. They are quick, attentive, and friendly. Shrinkflation. The Sooo Veggie used to be 3 Hawaiian buns long and now it is only 2?? 33% less food AND it's more expensive! The box they put it in makes all too obvious. They also forgot the avocado! I wish I had checked before I left. The Cheeseburger had meat thinner than a McDonalds patty. I live down the street from here and it's always a place I introduce to family and friends. The bartenders are awesome, very attentive and creative when making new drinks, especially when it comes to Celci who is adorable! My husband and I have done takeout a couple of times since we live 5 minutes away. Ordering online and picking up is a smooth and easy process. Parking might be tricky during a busy time but we've picked up on a late night week day and found parking in the nearby parking structure. The staff are friendly from our small interactions there and the ambiance inside is your typical modern American bar restaurant. I ordered the Ringer burger. I prefer it with the brioche bun instead since the Hawaiian rolls felt too much. I got it with double patty and each patty is already thick on its own so I think a single patty would have been just fine. It's a pretty tasty burger and it's very satisfying! I also got the chili cheese tots and it was good too. The tater tots were crispy and they give you a nice portion of chili and cheese. For a nothing fancy American bar food restaurant, it is 5/5 and will now have to fill the void of the OG congregation ale house RIP. read more

LOCATION: great convenient location on Azusa Ave off the 210 highway! Never had an issue with parking but may have some during the night time. The street parking is nice and easy in walking distance. Popular edge spot in downtown SERVICE: great service, had Jorge as our host and he was incredible! Say hi to him whenever you are in! Tons of outside seating and indoor seating with great ambience and lights outside. Tons of bar seating if you enjoy that as well. FOOD: delicious, fun, and affordable. This place has an app ..... However 90% of the time, it fails to function correctly. I don't know who their programmer is, but they need to go back to school and learn how to program and debug. The special deals, like National Cheeseburger Day BOGO, never work. Many times, even with a plain order, it won't accept simple requested information or boots out or freezes. I have repeatedly told the staff about the app, and they do not seem to care. Also, certain items can only be ordered via the app and not directly at the restaurant. I thought I would try to call them, since the app was not working. You get transferred to voicemail. No good! I want to place an order when I call; not arrange to have a meeting with the order clerk. I hope they realize that when I have this much difficulty placing a take-out order, I get frustrated and call a different restaurant. I am guessing they lost over $400 in business from me during the past few months for this very reason. Let's address the food. Some of it is okay, but nothing is amazing and it is highly overpriced. I appreciate they do not use meats containing antibiotics, though they are not using organic meat. I ordered one of their doggie meals, which provided very little food for my pup. It was just a hot dog with a lot of lettuce around it, for the price of an entire package of organic hot dogs from Whole Foods. Whenever I request DILL pickles, explicitly stating I do NOT want sweet pickles, they give me sweet pickles. The juice from the sweet ones pretty much ruins the bun and the meat even if I extract the pickles. The staff are friendly. Of course one is forced to order in person due to reasons stated above, and then wait for the order to be made. (Kinda defeats the purpose of take-out.) I do like that they keep extra late hours. Overall, it's a mixed bag, leaning towards the "Meh" category. I have reduced my attempts to get food from here, and never think of it as first choice. Burgers were way over salted. Came on a Sunday and not busy. I grew up eating the original dog haus and it was the best burgers. Once they franchised, it's not longer as good. What a wonderful first time experience!! I wasn't sure if I should go there or not as I am very doubtful of trying new places but it's worth it I am so picky when it comes to food quality and even though it is a kind of fast food place but the meat quality was very good. Beyond pissed. Came here to Watch the LAFC vs Galaxy game as they have it advertised with a beer special during the game. Of course, we get here and the tv outside is covered and turned off. All the employees are rude and are acting like they're being bothered about this situation. I ask them to call the owner but they can't get a hold of the owner. They Don't know anything about the game or drink special during the game. Also told me they couldn't put the game on as they don't have an Apple TV subscription. In fact, the employee tells me the owner is at the game himself. Reading through these past reviews the owner responses are immature and stupid. Terrible customer service and false advertisement. In the last few months I've had multiple shitty experiences in person and now ordering on Uber Eats. In person, order's been wrong, hair (long and deep in the food) in my order, and I've waited forever to get my food... Today, order a delivery and the restaurant obviously didn't update the order in the app and gave the order to some random. Waited for an hour before a driver finally cancelled the request. Then the employee was an absolute waste, just telling me the order was gone although I explained the app said it was still being prepared... customer service was tanked - no attempting to make it right or understand the issue. I love this place! It's a hidden gem in downtown Azusa. At this point my boyfriend and I are regulars from the many times we've come here. The staff is great and the food is even better! I love how spread out the restaurant is. The bar area wraps around and the inside is spacious. The outside patio is great too but just not in this current heat wave we're in lol. Randomly came in to have cold brew and a burger but little did I know it was National Hot Dog day lol ... Had to get myself a Doghaus special Cowboy Flavors and juiciness were great. The bartender/server was awesome. It was lunch rush as well as national dog day so people were swarming the venue but he was not phased, he held his composure and handled the noon rush easily as well as pay attention to the bar patrons. Was a very hot day and the atmosphere inside was very nice. Cool and chill, temperature was very comfortable for such a hot day. We were driving around and spotted this spot, which we were super grateful that we tried and stopped by. We tried the downtown hotdog, which was phenomenal. The hotdog was super crunchy and juicy, and the condiments it went with just enhanced the flavor so much. The tater tots were fantastic and super crispy. The wings were not overwhelmingly flavored but had a kick, which was great. This spot is lovely as there's a lot of space inside or outside, depending on your preference. The staff are also friendly as they are patient with you in reviewing the menu and suggesting the best one they have or what most customers enjoy. For being known for hot dogs you'd think they would grill them at least or have a gourmet link. Costco's hotdogs are bigger :( It was also luke warm. Way more bread than anything. I got the Sooo Cali and it's so sad that it had minimal toppings. I never ask for a refund, but the fact that I am literally hungry (not exaggerating) This dinner was not worth it for my family and I. I will thank the cashier, she was sweet and patient with my parents as it was their first time and my dad was slow at ordering lol. I also regret the $10 tip. Not worth it at all.
