Somehow the pork itself was fine and the skin crispy but the fat was not quite done. Don't know how this happened. But pan-fried the rest of the roast pork and it was fine. Given the accolades to this place I'd chalk it up to a one off moment and I'd give it a try again. Overall 3.5. Fix the roast pork then it's up to 4.0 or more. Parking is the biggest challenge in this neighborhood so most of their customers live nearby. It's also sliced thinly. Comes with a small amount of steamed broccoli to feel healthy though the broccoli is nothing special. Overall, a filling and delicious meal, I could've probably made two meals but wanted to finish one plate. Crispy Pork - my goodness this was almost a perfect crispy pork. Not that I have anything to improve, but I'm not quite sure what perfect is yet so this is one of the best I've had. My bf and I stumbled upon this place one day last fall when we were in the area and fell in love with their roast meats. The bf loves eating roast duck and when we had theirs, it was one of the best we've had. The duck was meaty and juicy and the skin was crisp and didn't have any of the little prickly bits that you sometimes find left behind at other roast duck places. The duck also didn't feel really greasy like other ducks I've had before. We also get their roast pork pretty regularly which also has a great crackly skin and just the right amount of fat to meat ratio. Got their BBQ pork as well when we picked up meat from them for Christmas dinner last year to share with my parents but I give the crispy roast pork the edge. It's been a regular place for us to go since we first discovered it. I only wish it was a little closer to my house because it's just past the edge of what I would consider walkable haha. Parking could be slightly tough but I've been pretty lucky on my trips to find a spot not too far away. Wow - the food was incredible. I walked in and a little girl took my order - just so adorable. It was so sweet to see this family business and support. The duck was crispy and sweet, the chow mein was delicious, the pork belly crisp and tasty. I wish this spot was closer to my house because I would go back once a week.
