Food - 5/5 Mmm m...hmm. I am a local Bay Area Foodie and I know the spots. This place is a hidden gem. Chinese - Malaysian food is hard to find these days but I hit that spot. I'm a regular with a papaya salad and roasted duck egg noodle soup. Service - 5/5 They are fast ! The guy is really friendly. He gave me a coupon with free Thai ice tea or French fries to me and my daughter. Ambiance - 5/5 I got a Southeast Asian vibe when I came into this restaurant. It is contemporary, classy and nice in here. This is one of my faves in Daly City. Truly a hidden gem.

Haven't been here for a while. Service is still on point. It's usually not too crowded so if you need space and attention from the waiter/waitress with a cool romantic dim ambiance then here's your place to go. The Laksa noodles I tried today the soup is very decent. However, noodles were too soft. My friend that ordered the same also said the same.. that usually the noodle here isn't this soft for this dish. Unfortunately this is the first time I tried it so it's what I have to go by. Last thing is my cup is not the cleanest. I could see lipstick stain from whoever so I tried to drink on a different side instead of complaining.

Cute little shop on the tail-end of Mission. They offer unique noodle dishes with generous portions. The workers are all very polite and attentive. The Curry Laksa noodle dish is added a must try as well as anything with their crispy duck.

2/25/24 I came here for dinner one night with one of my coworkers. The area is somewhat sketchy, but thankfully I was able to park only 2 blocks away. My coworker was already sitting inside when I arrived at the restaurant. It wasn't busy at all. My coworker and I shared a plate of dumplings and noodles. I can't remember what they were called, but we both enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind coming back here to try their other dishes.

Lots of metered parking spaces in front with a store front that is not very welcoming. Once you're inside, you notice the nice touches straight away, including the warm greeting. We were the first to walk in on Sunday, but soon people came to pick up take out and one other table was occupied. I went for the house special-the curry laksa soup- and the broth was amazingly delicious. However, the things in the soup were lackluster- the egg and shrimp were still on the cold side and the shredded chicken did not taste fresh. The report on the IPOH shredded fat chicken soup was that it was salty, but broth tasted fine to me. The appetizer wings came out long after the soups. They were nice. I wish I had liked the food as much as I liked the service.

Hands down the BEST laksa I've had in the Bay. It had the perfect balance of creamy, sweet, and spicy. I still think about Noodle Station's house special curry laksa soup a whole week after my visit -- it was just that good! The spicy roast duck dried ramen was also solid. Duck was lean and tender. If you enjoy sichuan spice (dish itself was like a mild spice level), then this dish is for you! The Jingchuan dumplings were decent; I'd probably skip on this next time to try other dishes. Food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. Pretty authentic Singaporean/Malaysian dishes if I do say so myself. The restaurant was slightly empty when we entered, but customers started coming in once it got closer to dinner time. Parking can be a bit difficult as it's located on a main street but definitely manageable.

Tried this place for the first time and the food was pretty good! My friend and I shared the garlic fries. They were tasty, but I wish there had been a bit more garlic. I also had the house special curry laksa, which was yummy and not too spicy, though it was a little on the sweeter side for me. I'd have preferred it to be a bit less sweet and more spicy, but that's just my personal preference! Overall, the food was great. The service was excellent, and the food came out really quickly. I also thought the interior was cozy. I'd definitely return if I'm in the area to try something else on the menu!

Amazing food! Got the chicken shrimp spicey noodle soup, and the beef noodle soup, and the pork dumplings. Only note is that the language barrier made it tough to understand her answers to our questions :/ food was so flavorful and made with care. would recommend!

Best Laksa in the Bay . Just the right amount of spice and a lot of toppings. The vermiceilli noodles pair so well with the broth. Lots of space. Not a lot of people. No frills mom and pop shop.

    Kendra H.

Excellent presentation and big portions. However, we got the house special dried noodles which were just way too simple. It might have felt this way because the meat to noodle ratio was too big. There was way too much noodle for how much meat was there - I'd rather get less noodle and the same amount of meat for the same price and I'd think I'd enjoy it more. We also got the laksa. Usually, laksa has bun in it or rice noodles, but there was vermicelli. The broth was too salty and didn't have enough lime in it. It wasn't the typical expect the laksa and we were pretty excited about it too because the presentation was so spot on.

Came here for dinner. Small place with limited seating. They have a tv. This place is known for mostly noodle dishes. Decided to get their house special curry laksa soup for $17.50 and roasted duck with dried egg noodle in xo sauce for $16. Although the price is pretty high up there but they do give you a lot. They brought out the food fairly quick. Both noodle dishes that i got are good in their own way. Had plenty of flavor and can get you full since its a lot. Friendly service. The only con is the street parking which can be hard to find since there aren't a lot.

Their noodles selection are amazing, flavorful and delicious! The lady is friendly, still helped us out few minutes before it closed. It was a nice and quiet place to be in. Not too many people but not empty. Try their House Special Roasted Duck, really good!

Do you need a noodle fix but cannot pin down the type of cuisine? Noodle Station has a myriad of options from different asian cuisines like Chinese, Thai, Singaporean etc. I was skeptical at first but was pleasantly surprised at the portions, quality and deliciousness. One thing I will point out is that the flavors are quite strong in terms of saltiness so have a big jug of water handy. My table ordered the house special laksa which was creamy and spicy, hong kong dumpling egg noodles soup which was decent, and the house special dried noodles with roast duck. Service was neutral and the establishment was clean. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back and trying more things on the menu.

We found a spot on a side street a block away. This Thai/Laos eatery was dimly lit with a cozy atmosphere. When we arrived, only a few tables were occupied, so we were seated quickly. They have a variety on the menu: starters, salads, noodle soups, pan fried noodles, stir-fries, seafood, vegetarian, curries, fried rice, specials, sides, & desserts. *** O U R P I C K S *** CHAMPA WINGS ~ sweet & spicy, dry pepper fried chicken wings. The wings were quite small, but we got 10 flats. Tasty, but not too spicy. Comparable to the wings you'd get from San Tung or Korean fried chicken wings. 4/5 CHAMPA SAMPLER ~ Lao sausages, fried rice ball salad, & fried spring rolls. Tasty generous platter! It comes with vermicelli noodles and lots of fresh lettuce and herbs so you can make lettuce wraps. Spring rolls were crispy and delicious. I think this was the highlight of our meal. 5/5 LARP LAO STYLE (Duck) SALAD ~ prepared with mint, onions, fish paste, cilantro & Thai eggplants. Alone, the duck is pretty salty. But eating it with the provided lettuce and herbs balanced the flavors and cut the saltiness. Unique and bold flavors. 4/5 PAD THAI ~ thin rice noodles, tamarind, eggs, bean sprouts, and chicken. Flavor was on point, but the noodles were a bit wet and overcooked. 3.5/5 GINGER FISH ~ battered catfish, minced pork, ginger, onions, bell peppers, and mushroom. This tasted more like a Chinese dish. The fish were filet pieces deep fried with a batter covered in a brown sauce. This dish tasted ok, but nothing special. 3.5/5 A few dishes stood out like the Champa sampler and Larp Lao style duck salad. We enjoyed our meal and we'll definitely make our way back when the craving hits!

The Tom Kha soup was the highlight of the meal. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with a nice balance of coconut, citrus, and herbs. It was so good that George is still finishing the leftovers today. Between the two of us, we got about four servings out of it, which felt like a great value. Unfortunately, the Pad See Ew was a letdown. The dish was greasy, lacked depth of flavor, and had very little beef. I ended up contacting customer support to request a partial refund because the portion of protein was so disappointing. For a dish like Pad See Ew, you expect tender slices of beef, chewy rice noodles, and a balanced savory and slightly sweet soy flavor with a bit of char from the wok, but this version fell short. Overall, the soup was excellent and worth ordering again, but the noodle dish did not meet expectations. I have heard good things about this place and hope this was just an off day.

The quail came in a hot plate where they then proceed to flambee it with some lemon and pepper. The chicken lollipops were piping hot and worth a try. All were about a 4/5. We also ordered the Garlic Roasted crab and it was huge. It came on top of a plate of buttery and garlicky noodles. Cooked perfectly and plenty to go around. Green bean and spinach in an egg drop slurry round out our meal with some vegetables. The highlight of the night was the Lao Mei Rice. The pork tenderloin in there was 6/5. We ordered the tom yum mussels, lollipop chicken, braised short rib, miso butter mushrooms and the mango sticky rice to finish. This has been said before but the mussels were some of the best mussels we've ever had! The sauce was the perfect balance of tangy, sweet, savory and sour complemented by amazingly plump mussels. The braised short rib tasted like it was in a coconut curry sauce and had crispness like they had battered and fried it after it has been braised which offered a satisfying texture with the sauciness of the dish. The miso butter mushrooms were good, however I was hoping for some crispness in the mushrooms honestly; I thought they were good, but I didn't think they were excellent. The lollipop chicken was really flavorful; crunchy and well battered in the outside and most and savory meat. It tasted great with the sauce but honestly was good without it too. And the mango sticky rice was great! We paired it with coconut ice cream and it went perfectly. This was just a great night out and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!
