Salt & Pepper Pork Chop 椒鹽豬排, string beans, Dry Braised Chicken Wings 乾烹雞翅, honey walnut shrimp, combo rice, and Hot & Sour Soup 酸辣湯
    Tiffany F.

Ordered via DoorDash and food arrived hot and well packaged. Soup was wrapped in an extra bag and slits were cut into the top of the boxes to keep items from being soggy. Won't be able to talk about service or ambiance for this specific review. This is probably my favorite to-go salt and pepper pork chops I've ordered for delivery. It was still very crispy, not full of bones, and well seasoned. Pork was juicy and the breading was also not super thick. The hot and sour soup was also solid. I'm glad they nailed the "hot" portion because most restaurants miss that. Extra points for them giving it a rich deep color with dark soy, it's on the more authentic side. The dry braised chicken wings give San Tung a run for their money. Great option for delivery if you don't want to dine-in there. Flavor is mostly like a sweet soy but the spice doesn't really hit. Honey walnut prawns had a decent portion and the shrimp were cooked very well. String beans were sautéed and seasoned well. Still had a little bit of texture and not mushy (thank goodness)! The OK dish was the combination fried rice. Although pretty generous with the proteins, it definitely needed some more salt/seasonings added. Hard to give a Chinese restaurant 5 stars if the fried rice isn't nailed. As far as Chinese-American restaurants, this one has all your top hits. Everything is generally under $20 but most Chinese food in SF is around there now. The portions are solid and the flavor are as well. I'd definitely order from them again.

I'm glad we stumbled on this pretty nice neighborhood spot right off of the Cross-Town Trail. We got take out, and the portions were great and the quality as well as service was top notch. I'd love to come here on an evening and enjoy a nice sit down meal.

I've been going to this place since it opened. And I supported Hong Sing when it was there before Win Garden. The food is amazing. Fresh and good flavor. I can't deny their talent. But it's super over priced . I've held back writing a review because I truly do love this place. Great customer service and yummy food. Some saucy dishes like sweet n sour pork or orange chicken , the sauce is super thick goopy like it's from a jar. But 90 % of the menu is super good. I am however upset with the prices. The steamed American broccoli is $15.95! The whole sale price for broccoli is $3-4 for each head. Cucumber salad app is approximately 1/2 a cucumber for $10! I know it cost them less than $2 to make! And now I just ordered vegetarian spring rolls. You get 3 of these very small rolls that's mostly paper I feel as if the very little filling is just to flavor the wrapping paper. They are average frozen rolls that you can buy at any market. These miniature rolls are $795!! Let's face it it cost OVER $2.50 per roll. Thats over .95 cents a bite! It's cabbage and carrots people. There's no pork. It's not stuffed with shiitake mushrooms which are expensive. I had to take a photo of the size and filling. Price gouging makes me mad. So moving forward I'm going to get my Chinese food from Alice's on 29th. It's fresh, great portions and reasonably priced. I will miss Win Garden, but I've had enough.

Captured the menu since there didn't seem to be very current photos of it. The beef chow fun was PERFECT. I'd go again just for that! But everything was tasty. Simple interior. Good service and speedy food delivery to our table. We had a great little dinner here!

    Chow Fun/炒河粉

Ordered last night after quite some time and I have to say I was greatly disappointed. I have been going to Win Garden for many years pre-covid but I noticed the prices kept increasing so I wasn't as frequent a customer like before. I decided I wanted to splurge on good Chinese food so I opted to order from Win. The Wor Wonton soup is half the size the large use to be and I don't want to see what the small looks like. The chow mein wasn't as tasty as I remembered but it's my kids favorite dish so it passed for them. The worst dish was the chow fun. It was flavorless and I wasn't aware that if you ordered that dish the bamboo shoots were the main ingredient. Overuse of a filler and that's not right. I'd like noodles in my chow fun! Sesame chicken was very good but again pricey in comparison to other restaurants. I took out my leftovers tonight and it prompted me to write this review. Doesn't do justice because half of the shoots and onions were tossed the night before but here are pics of my leftovers and I threw out a bunch of bamboo and onions in compost ( sorry about the compost pic) Needless to say I won't be a returning customer and that's unfortunate

It's still super crispy even when soaked in the sweet sauce. This sauce reminds me of orange chicken sauce and all the chicken was cooked to perfection. Black bean noodles 9/10 - I actually really liked these, the noodles were thinner than what I am used to, but still so bouncy and chewy and it soaked up all the good sauce Green beans 8/10 - these are your typical green beans you order at a Chinese restaurant. Filled with garlic flavoring it was a nice balance with the other dishes we had. Our server was awesome he made us laugh a lot and was so kind. We started with the escargot and milk bread, which was incredibly garlicky in the best way. The escargot itself had an almost mushroom-like texture, with subtle Asian influences, though it also reminded us of classic American garlic butter. Regardless, it was delicious and a great way to start the meal. The kumquat highball was probably our favorite drink of the night--refreshing, balanced, and full of bright citrus flavor. The oolong tea was good, although we've had better elsewhere. The Xinjiang lamb skewer was an interesting interpretation, almost like a flavorful meatball rather than a traditional skewer, but it worked well. Our favorite dish was the claypot rice with Chinese sausage and bacon. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor, and the combination of smoky, savory, and crispy textures made it an absolute standout. The special of the day, fried sole with fermented mustard greens, was also memorable. The fish itself was excellent, but the dish had two distinct personalities. The side coated in the sauce had deep, savory flavors that felt unmistakably Asian, while the top with the mustard greens had a surprisingly Western character--we even thought we detected dill. It was an unusual contrast, but an interesting one. The dessert was also an interesting take on the mango pudding - strawberry sorbet was a nice addition with the mango pudding with almond flakes and real strawberries. Overall, Four Kings delivers creative, memorable food in a vibrant setting. It's the kind of restaurant that takes familiar flavors in unexpected directions, and we're already looking forward to seeing what they come up with next.

Once they opened the doors we were seated immediately so the strategy paid off. The menu looked incredible across the board so we went in and tried almost everything. We ordered a ton for 2 people and had a lot to bring home. Here's the breakdown: Order these: Squab Liver Skewers: Rich and packed with flavor, a great way to start. I dont even like liver, but this was good! Typhoon Shelter Soft Shell Crab: Really well executed, would order again without hesitation. Salt and Pepper Tiger Prawns: Simple but done perfectly. Singaporean Chili Crab with Fried Milkbread: Delicious but one note here. The bread is a bit much and doesn't add a ton to the dish. This would be even better served over noodles to soak up all that chili crab sauce. HK Black Pepper Steak: So juicy and flavorful. One of the standouts of the night. XO Escargot with Milkbread: Another winner. Beef Chow Fun Noodles: Genuinely the best chow fun I've ever had. Do not skip this one. Mapo Spaghetti with Beef: A fun and unexpected combination that really works. Salt and pepper squid skewers: Packed with protein. Super flavorful! Yuzu Sake: The perfect drink pairing for this menu. Skip these: Chong Qing Fried Hawt Rabbit and Peruvian Chicken Fried Rice were the two misses of the night. Save your stomach space for everything else. The flavors here are exceptional and the service matched it perfectly. Will absolutely be back and already trying to figure out how to snag a reservation next time!
