I was recommended this restaurant specifically for their Korean Chicken. We ordered takeout at the restaurant and received it surprisingly quickly in about 10 minutes. It smelled so good, it was challenging to not eat it while on the bus. It was about $14 for 10 wings/drumsticks so I'm quite satisfied with the portions. The chicken is devastatingly delicious. 45 minutes later, it was still hot and crispy while being covered in a sweet, salty, spicy, and garlicky sauce. This chicken is so good I still think about it.

This place is the best Chinese restaurant in the mission. The dry chow fun and Korean fried chicken are chef's kiss. 10/10.

Upon arrival they seat you and give you a menu and it has a lot of classic Chinese dishes for such reasonable prices. We got their 8 piece potstickers for appetizers, which you can immediately tell how fresh and thoroughly pan fried they were opposed to other places reheating frozen dumplings. Their Korean chicken was delicious...it was crispy and marinated with their sweet spicy glaze. Lastly, their BBQ pork fried rice was good but the main star was the chicken we ordered. I appreciate how abundant and generous their portions are, typical family style size. The time we went they seemed to be short staffed as a majority worked in kitchen so expect slow service when asking for to-go boxes and the check. However they were nice workers and will put the leftovers in the boxes for you as opposed to you doing it yourself, which was nice. Would come back again, solid place, solid taste.

I was in the city to do some work and I don't know much the restaurants around the Mission area and asked my supervisor what was good around there. She mentioned this place and it was literally a block away, so why not. I went around 11:30-12 and they only had myself and another person in the restaurant. It's a very small restaurant and seemed kind of cozy to me. The man at the register was super friendly and nice and very helpful with the menu. I decided on the lunch combo C. I got 1 veggie egg roll, Mongolian beef, with half fried rice and half chow mein. I decided to dine in and found a table up front to sit and eat. The food came super fast and was so hot! They said to try it with the chili oil and ohh man was that delicious! Everything was super flavorful and tasty! Next time I'm back in that area training, I'll be sure to stop by and try out some other menu items!

Korean Chicken wings, best in the city. Haven't been in years and the wings are still fire!

    really good pot stickers

good portions and good prices --not many of these kind of shops left in the city where you can get a dish for 10 to 14 bucks a pop. Pot stickers were solid. Do not get the veg chow fun. I don't know what I got but it isn't chow fun....

Solid 3 star Chinese restaurant in the Mission. We had expected to eat here at 7:30p but they were already closing so got take out. They were patient with us getting and order in and the food came out fast! They had run out of the salt fried chicken so we ordered the Korean fried chicken and the regular fried chicken. Both were fried well and crispy. The Korean one was just slightly spicy and not too saucy. The regular ones were nicely salted and flavorful and juicy. We also got beef chow fun which was just standard but satisfied the Chinese food craving. Lastly, we had the hot and sour soup which left a lot to be desired, not really flavorful and pretty watered down. Overall, I'd come for the fried chicken. It was delicious and well fried. I need to come back for the salt fried chicken. They also had some decent lunch specials. But probably would only do take out.

    Boneless Korean Chicken
    Emily S.

$16.26 for 1 order of Boneless Korean Chicken is overpriced. The chicken is good quality, but still $16 before tip seems excessive. The fried rice & lo mein both have a dishwasher taste: do not recommend!

A very good dining experience, the service attitude should be very good, I like it very much and will come again next time

No doubt, the BEST Chinese food in San Francisco. Been eating here most of my life since the grandma used to be the hostess. The tall gentleman (grandson I think) knew my order anytime I went no matter how long it was between visits. They stop serving food for a break between 2p-4p which sometimes hinders me from going when needing to beat the commute. Food is always fresh, hot, fulfilling, and prices can't be beat. A lot of food! A lot of GOOD food. I usually get some form of chow mein, sweet/sour pork (the BEST), potstickers, and prawn fried rice. Yes, there is a nice amount of thinly sliced beef under the noodles in my pic. This place deserves high regard for the deliciousness they've brought to SF for decades.

Once they started calling tables, it moved really fast. When we were seated, we ended up sharing a table with two other groups of two. I actually didn't mind it at all because there was still enough space between everyone to have privacy. It also made the experience feel more social -- I ended up chatting with the people to my right and left about the food. Everything we ordered was really good. Their popular dry fried chicken absolutely lived up to the hype and was probably my favorite thing on the menu... besides the cherry pork. I feel like nobody talks about the cherry pork enough! It was SO good -- kind of like a sweet-and-sour pork without the sour. I dipped it in soy sauce because I loved the sweet and salty combo together. The dumplings were also really good. The wrapper was thin and delicious, but my boyfriend said he wished they had a little more protein filling and less leek. The green beans are always a hit. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again was the black bean sauce noodles. Maybe I just expected a different flavor, but to me they honestly tasted like regular lo mein. I'm also not a huge noodle person in general, so I'd probably skip them next time and order something else instead. Forgot to mention their prices are on point! Definitely recommend to any of the tourists. I think the weight is definitely worth it and I love being able to take home my leftovers and eating them for lunch and dinner the next day.

"Everything!" That's all one needs to say. At the entrance, clearly marked are signs reading, "Reservations" and "Walk-ins". Since we had reservations, we waited only a few minutes to get seated at the bar. The bar makes it easy to converse with your partner and to peer over as the fire from the range springs up from the kitchen. Our server brought us some "Free Bites" of roasted peanuts and smashed cucumbers. She was such a pleasant lady with quite the wit that made me laugh between courses. We ordered a full bottle of Negori sake. Note: if you do not finish the sake bottle, they cannot pack it to go for you, so drink up! Obviously, we couldn't order everything on the menu. For our first visit, we definitely wanted their special dish, Fried Squab. It was delicious! The meat was moist and the dipping salt with Sichuan peppercorn paired perfectly! Just don't focus too much on the visual... the head and claws. Hot Mustard Jellyfish Salad ~ I loved the "crunch" of the jellyfish and the hot mustard marinade was just spicy enough to start a slow burn up the nose. Beef Chow Fun Noodles ~ Delicious and so very savory. I was amazed at how flavorful this dish was without being salty. Clay Pot Rice w/Chinese Sausage & Bacon ~ Loved how the entire pot was seasoned nicely. The sauce did not only sit at the top, but penetrated deep down into the rice. XO Escargot w/Milkbread ~ I've only had French Escargot and these are just as good, if not better! Fish Fragrant Eggplant ~ Another savory and very umami dish. Red Bean Shaved Ice ~ Always a refreshing dessert. Dig in for the surprise in the center. We had such a nice, cozy dinner here. Even while at the bar, we never felt for lack of space. They paced the dishes out perfectly, so there was always room to eat and enjoy. Looking forward to returning and trying more items on the menu.

We sat at the communal high-top table in the center of the restaurant, which has a small pond built into it with little goldfish and even a tiny rubber duck sitting on the rock formation -- such a cute detail and definitely adds to the ambiance. Our server Ken was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended the Iron Goddess tea, which ended up being excellent. The Kid ordered the Milk Aroma Oolong, which surprisingly tasted almost like milk tea even though it's just brewed tea. Each tea comes with its own kettle, and Ken even came back to refill the hot water for us. For food, we ordered the Wagyu Beef Fried Rice, which was a huge portion and easily shareable. Very flavorful and well prepared. We also tried the Sichuan Seafood Dumplings and the Iberico Pork Dumplings, both of which were delicious. One order is definitely enough to share. The dumplings come with several dipping sauces including soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, hot mustard, and a cilantro-based sauce that had a slightly sweet, horseradish-like flavor that really stood out. Service throughout the meal was amazing. Even without a reservation, we were seated immediately. This person who took our order asked if there were any allergies, I said soy and her eyes lit up while she calming asked, 'soy-sauce', and I list soysauce and all the soy things that fall in that umbrella. I order my item, the chicken wings and item to share: the pan-fried dumplings, while my partner ordered one of the noodle soups. She comes back later and points out that the noodle soup has soy - much apperciated because people sometimes share, etc. And I said it was just for my partner. -- The chicken wings were plump, crispy, the first two were 'heathly', didn't taste the salt, and the rest were packed with flavor. If you're looking for consistency there is a #1 spot in Chinatown for chicken wings which I will not disclose in this review. But, otherwise, for flavor - I like it here. My partner said he didn't find the ones here oily but I said the bottom ones were a little and I did enjoy it. The panfried dumplings - the meat was succulent and delicious, I didn't think there was enough soup, these ones are smaller than other places, but the meat is massive. They were good, not my favorite ever, but I think the meat was the best hands-down anywhere. - It was very busy with perhaps locals and tourists. The table on our left were these two white men in the architeture field - super vulgar and sexist talking about people they don't like, it would defintely be an HR red flag. And then to the corner on the right, there was this little family who hadn't had soup dumplings before - the grown kids ate with their hands and the parents with forks (I love to see people trying new things), I didn't see all of this going on but I asked my partner who kept looking over.. Yes, my partner was judging you but kudos to trying new things however it is. - For large parties - you'll have to wait awhile.
