We love DJ's. Mother's Day treat for Mama! Always 10/10. The staff is amazing to boot! Thank you DJ's of St Augustine!

Great seafood spot right in St. Augustine. Quick service counter, so no worries about a wait staff. They had a nice outdoor patio with live music for lunch. Or you can dine up on the second floor, limited seating up there. The shrimp and fish baskets were very good, great tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. The garlic shrimp roll was delicious, and my wife loved her fish tacos! I would definitely recommend this seafood shop!

Me and my family spent the day in St Augustine, visiting Fort Mose to close out Black History Month(excellent history of enslaved people in that area). We had already planned to eat at DJ's Clam Shack, a favorite since visiting Key West and promoted by Guy Fieri, Food Network. The lobster rolls are the best, you must get it hot, the bread, fresh lobster meat with butter will melt in your mouth and the coleslaw is very fresh. The conch fritters, fries and clams were all tasty and very delicious. The staff are very friendly and patient. There is inside and outside seating, we decided to eat outside, 75 degrees and a light breeze so remember DJ's Clam Shack on Hypolita the next time you visit St Augustine.

First timers here We had the famous lobster rolls $20 each served hot on like a Texas toast bun The rolls were excellent but not very filling at all even for a woman as I had to order additional rolls for her. The coleslaw was very tasty as well and it's cheaper to park in the lot of the fort at $10 max than $15 for a private lot that's basically the same distance. So three rolls, and one little bottle of Chardonnay and one little bottle of Prosecco plus $10 to park , state tax and local tax plus tip equals $120.63

SO and I stopped here for a quick bite. It's a great place to satisfy your Maine and Connecticut lobster roll jones. They also make a pretty good New England clam chowder. Place your order inside and they give you a buzzer to let you know when it's done. The live music is pretty good, too!

If you're in downtown St. Augustine, DJ's Clam Shack is the place to be! They serve up incredible lobster rolls and tacos, and the live music creates a fantastic atmosphere. There's plenty of seating options--whether you want to sit indoors, enjoy the breeze outside, or head upstairs. The food is great and the service is impressively quick!

This was the least busy place in st. Augustine after new years. Nice little patio and upstairs space. Even though st. Augustine was crowded , this place was almost empty. Easy ordering and not a huge menu. Got the regular lobster roll for $28. They also had the overstuffed lobster roll for $46. The bread was nice buttery and toasty but the lobster filling was a bit on the bland side and very little. I was expecting more taste and a bigger amount of lobster for the price. Also got the clam chowder loaded Fries. Didn't like it at all, the clam chowder tasted really bad. This place was once and done. At least for me.

While researching must eats in St. Augustine I stumbled upon this lead back restaurant that was also featured on DDD. Casual dining, order inside, wait outside at table until buzzer calls you which was only about 10 minutes. I didn't even let my husband order as there were two items I had to have: conch fritters and the lobster roll warm with butter and a cold beer. Conch was creamy with nice chunks of fish and had a side of fries & cole slaw and lobster so sweet, & chunky and had cole slaw. It was a perfectly delicious lunch we shared in a cool outside terrace. So glad we went!

Can't get enough of this place! If you're looking for fresh seafood with a great service, definitely stop to DJ's. After our tour at Fort Mose, we decided to go to our go to spot for fast, casual food, and of course, had to get a lobster roll. My dad got an order of the steam neck clams, which are in a bed of this flavorful, garlic butter broth. This was the first time that we had them from here and it was so good. Of course I should've realized it was going to be good as their clam chowder is amazing. Thankfully, it was sunny and 75 so we got to sit outside and enjoy a perfect Florida day with amazing food.

I've been to dj's clamshack in key west, so I had to try this closer location. When I went to the key west location no lie my lunch lobster roll was so amazing I went back later that same day for dinner. Unfortunately the lobster roll in st aug didn't wow me like that. For the price i would say the amount of food was adequate. The buttery toasted bun was delicious. However the lobster itself was just ok- bland and not quite thawed enough. Also would have liked the lobster to be cut up a little bit easier to eat. I also can't stand the unlisted "market price" on the sign. I get if you can't print the price on the actual printed menus, but surely you can change the daily price on the sign. I also hate coleslaw so i would have rathered pay $1-$2 without it.

On street parking is difficult to find, and there are no parking garages close to the restaurant. Food was good and worth the money. Lobster rolls were good. Staff were attentive, open outdoor and indoor seating.

Stopped in for a quick lobster roll before checking out a bunch of bars in town. Being from New England I didn't expect to be impressed but it was very tasty! I was very happy with the meat to mayo ratio!

Saw this place featured on a YouTube video (Brennen Taylor) and since we were planning on visiting Saint Augustine anyway, we put this at the top of our To-Do list for places to eat. Sweet baby Jesus.... We split the overstuffed lobster roll and though it was pricey for one sandwich, it was a 10/10 worth every penny. I'd do it again. Multiple times. Got the hot lobster roll rather than the cold but did hear the cold was even better. I'm not sure how that could be possible but I'm willing to find out. Coleslaw came with and it was also fantastic. Staff was amazing as well and honestly matched the hype of the food. Highly recommend. Will be back.

Catch 27 - St. Augustine, FL…read more Came to St. Augustine with a group and Catch 27 was suggested for dinner. Great choice. I checked the Yelp reviews ahead of time and it definitely lived up to them. People in our group started with drinks and everyone at the table seemed happy with what they ordered. I had the red wine braised beef brisket for my main and it was excellent, very tender and full of flavor. My friend Damon next to me had the red snapper and I tried some of that too. Also very good. Someone else at the table had the Rockefeller crusted snapper and that looked and tasted great as well. For appetizers, I had the shaved pear and blue cheese salad. It was really good and honestly enough for two people to share as an appetizer. People at the table also ordered the Devils on Horseback and liked them. I do not eat bacon, but they were happy with that dish. The deviled eggs with southern fried oysters looked really good, and I had the smoked salmon spread, which was very good too. I also saw the shrimp and grits come out for someone else and that dish looked excellent. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding and it was a strong finish to the meal. Others at the table ordered the seasonal crème brûlée, which was chocolate that night. It looked great and everyone who had it said it was very good. Sunny was our waitress and she did an exceptional job. Attentive, kind, and on top of everything the whole night. Overall, the food was really good and waitress was nice, but water was never refilled and everything took a really long time to come out. Our entrees were the beet salad and tuna poke bowl, which were both pretty good, but my wife complained about the abundance of candied nuts in the beet salad. The entertainment was meh. The manager was constantly petting the house kitty cat and then handling food, drinks and shaking customer hands. Seemed odd. We started with the bread service--the truffle butter was definitely the highlight (we didn't care too much for the ricotta spread). FYI: the little cubes that look like white cheddar are *not* cheese...I learned that the hard way by biting into a square of butter. For dinner, I had the cacio e pepe and he ordered the 100 lasagna. For dessert, we shared an affogato--the espresso wasn't burnt (which is surprisingly rare), so that was a big win. They were cooked perfectly and served in a flavorful sauce with peppers that tied everything together. The balance between the sweet and spicy was so good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna, and it was pure comfort. It reminded me so much of the classic lasagna I grew up eating, layered with rich Bolognese and a creamy bechamel sauce that made it feel both nostalgic and elevated. My boyfriend went with the steak (I believe it's a New York strip) and swapped a few of the sides to his liking. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare.
