This is a great spot to get your boba fix at the Source. Most drinks here are all good. I normally get the peach black tea with golden boba. The drinks are on the sweet side so only 1/4 is more than enough sugar. Staff are super friendly and orders come out quick! In and out in 5 min or less. read more

Not only I chose the Black Milk Tea with Golden Boba, my Man tried another yummy recommendation from a super good friend: Wintermelon Milk Tea in 50% sugar, which perfectly set to the right, actually in-the-middle amount of sweetness. His luscious, smooth, and tasty drink utterly revealed the green-eyed monster in me that, without hesitation, he traded his drink for my classic choice. Before that change I enjoyably chewed on these sultry and flavorful pearls that I would be too crazy to take these boba balls out of the Black Milk Tea and dunk them into the Wintermelon Milk Tea. I've read so many good reviews of this place, so I finally gave it a try. The line on a Saturday afternoon was long. Long lines usually indicate that the place is really good. Sadly this wasn't the case for me. I will say that the service here is good. Staff is friendly and quickly cranked out customized drinks for the large number of people waiting. I ordered the smallest-size signature milk tea (normal sweetness, less ice) with golden boba. I was surprised when I was given the total for my order -- $4.85! That seems pricey to me, compared to other tea shops. Especially for a small drink. I'm a slow drinker, so I usually order my milk tea with less ice so it doesn't get watered down. It didn't make a difference here because my first sip already tasted watered down. I even ordered it 100% sweet, and it wasn't very sweet at all. Also, I paid for the boba add-in, and they hardly put any in the cup. My drink wasn't filled up all the way either (maybe because I asked for less ice). There are so many milk tea places in Orange County, so this will be my last time here. I'll stick to Sharetea and 7Leaves Café. read more

Update!! I came in today at around 4pm because I was in the area. It was nice to see so many people sitting down and enjoy a cool cup of boba at Ding Tea. The location is perfect, on the first floor not too far from the parking lot. Everybody in the store was so sweet to me and I was recommended the Signature Milk tea with golden boba, saying it was a top seller at Ding Tea. I ended up getting that with Golden Boba. Yum! It was so delicious. Not too sweet or too bland, it was the perfect middle with chewy, but not too soft, boba. Although it was a chilly day, the boba really hit the spot. Thank you so much for helping me today, the service was so admirably quick, I still got to my class on time. I highly recommend coming here. It is only my second time here and I have already fell in love with this particular Ding Tea location! The owners and staff members are so sweet and nice! They are all very attentive and hard working! The interior design is lovely! So much pretty floral and white design! I love it! Prettiest Ding Tea location ever! Great for catching up and taking photos! I have attended both their soft and grand opening days. I have never had an issue on either days. My drink tasted great and my drink came out pretty fast. I really really recommend their Jasmine Green Milk Tea!!! It is one of their popular drinks and I can see why it is so popular! Its a cute small place. Been to other Ding Tea places before in other cities..but this place is more pleasant. Great to study here because of the tables and chairs. Got toffee milk tea 50 ice & 50 sweetness. Got jasmine GREEN TEA NO MILK The toffee drink tasted exactly what I expected. However they made us a green MILK tea drink....which we didn't wanted because it contained MILK. Overall they messed up on the milk part but I guess that's fine. This place is on first floor. Get the hazelnut milk tea, my goodness it will be your new favorite thing. If you like nutty teas, it's the best. If you like toffee tasting things, I highly recommend their hokaiddo oolong because it's delish. Their signature milk tea is great too. It's a high chance that everything on their menu is gonna be tasty. Dingtea is unfortunately not a big deal in NorCal, so it's always a treat when I get to go to dingtea when im in LA. Their drinks are on the sweeter side so I suggest going less on sweet. Their golden boba is great though, sweetened with honey and it's worth. This location is pretty cool, they have a cute flower wall, and it's located in new open air mall. The walk from the parking garage to the store was about 5min. Although the drinks were fine there was an incident today which I believe was very unprofessional. While waiting for my drink I got a large pop up covering my phone screen saying "____ is inviting you to join their Spotify jam" I wasn't sure who it was but I joined thinking nothing of it. As I looked through the queue there were a few songs i recognized, many being K-pop so I queued one as well. I then realized it was playing on the speaker at the store when I heard my song which was NEMONEMO by Yena, another kpop song. Midway into the song it was cutoff and I heard an employee from behind the counter yelling and cursing to get the "f" out of the Spotify jam and leave the store. The store was noticeably getting quieter as people were listening to her and I believe this was an extremely unprofessional response. I do apologize for queuing my own songs, however the employee that was playing their playlist should not have started a Spotify jam if they were the only one in it and inviting other people to join. I only queued 2 songs (both being inexplicit NEMONEMO and Happy Birthday) and only the first one was played. This made me question their work ethic as they allowed one of their employees to cause a scene without any repercussions. I visited this place on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered a chocolate slush without boba (kid friendly and caffeine free) and a milk tea with boba. We waited over 15 minutes for our order. Service was really slow, they need more tables for customers. Expect a long wait, especially on a weekend. Boba was average, there's a variety of flavors and choice of sweetness to choose from. I am not sure if I should be proud of this fact or I need some ding tea intervention. My absolute favorite item at DT is oolong milk tea, less ice, with either golden boba or custard pudding . This place is so cute! They have an adorable little flower all to take photos against and cute decor with staff introductions, etc. I've gotten drinks here a couple of times already and it's always been made quickly and the drinks are really good! Everything always tastes super fresh. I always order the honey green tea, which is always delicious and tastes real - not like syrup or powdered teas/teas that have been sitting for a really long time. My husband usually gets some sort of fruit flavored green tea, which has also always been really good. I will say the fruit flavored teas tend to be on the sweeter side, so if don't like sweet drinks you'll probably want to go with less sugar or half sugar. They also don't put a ton of ice in your cup so you end up with a good amount of beverage. I'm not huge on toppings, so I can't speak much to that, but the teas themselves are really good and will definitely quench your thirst! read more

The shop is quite small so be aware that there may be difficulty with finding a place to sit during peak hours, though there is also seating outside (if you are there to study this might be difficult as there is often loud KPOP outside). I really like the few teas I've tried here and I think your experience may depend on what drink you try. It boggles my mind how many drinks they offer here. The Hokkaido black milk tea is good, pretty rich as far as milk teas go. Thought I'd finally write a review for this place. I've been coming here since it first opened. This is one of the better boba places in the Buena Park area. Staff is always friendly and attentive. There was one time they forgot to boba in my drink, but they were quick to fix the order. In general, I like the vibe this place gives off more than the other boba places. My favorite drinks from here are the Oolong milk tea and the taro milk tea. You can't go wrong with either. All of the drinks I've tried were really good. I'd recommend the peach milk tea or the blueberry milk tea if you're into fruit milk teas. The strawberry milk tea tastes a little artificial, but it's still pretty good if you're into that strawberry candy flavor. I've never had any problems with the boba being too hard or overcooked / undercooked. The store is always clean. I've never seen it dirty or unkempt. I really like the drinks at Ding Tea. My husband really enjoys the yogurt drinks, and their milk teas are pretty good.
