I used to go here a lot when I was younger for their milk teas and slushees but it's been a while since then. I was in the area so I got their regular milk tea again and it kinda tasted the same(aftertaste left my mouth dry). The service was simple, it gave me a neutral feel. Only thing that changed was some of the interior decoration and prices. It used to be $4-5 for a regular with no toppings and I got mine with no ice/no toppings and it was almost $7. Also it seemed like my drink was premade compared to making it fresh, it came out in a couple seconds. I'd rather go to another spot that makes it fresh/cheaper but that's just me. Also this boba spot is always packed with teens/young adults with their laptops; it's like a cafe where students gather and do their work so you might not find a seat.

They have the viral instant ramen machine. This is the spot to get your boba, ramyun, taiyaki, and other snacks. My favorite has to be the Tteokbokki here. The best part is that this Boba Loca location is open at 9 am! Have you ever craved boba and had to wait until 12 pm?

Taiyaki, pretty much empty inside. I got the red beans taiyaki and they used to be good but not anymore. Over cooked and no red beans inside.

This is a great place for chillax and study. A lot of tables have laptop on and they were really here to study. They have free wifi and all the snacks like instant ramen, ice shaved, boba. The vibe was very nice and chill. The server was very friendly. I'd say food and snacks was pretty much you could find elsewhere but they're like local starbucks in terms of service.

Boba Loca is a cute cafe in La Palma that just feels like home! The mixed furniture and kinda random wall decor (BTS tees?!) just feels so endearing to me haha. We had some Shin Ramyeon from those machines that you would see in Korean convenience stores and it just hit different! And we were surprised to see how popular the spot was for young students after school and grandmas gossiping. If this is your vibe, be sure to give them a visit!

If you're looking for refreshing boba drinks and snacks, Boba Loca is your spot! We ordered their Vietnamese Coffee which was strong and slightly sweet, while their Strawberry Kiwi smoothie had the perfect balance of flavors. They have your classic boba snacks like popcorn chicken, but they also have some unique ones like their pizza taiyaki and countless ramen options that you can cook with their viral instant ramen machine! The employees were super friend

Very great place to not just get drinks at, but to take some alone time to study as well. Drinks were reasonably priced ($11) for two drinks. I would recommend for those who come here to be patient with the cashier as it seems like there's only one person working here! Otherwise, super warm and fun place to get some late night boba. I would definitely recommend!

Ramen is very good and I added egg. And owner is very nice... Great place to meet friends and group meeting.

Came here on a Sunday around 5:34pm. Parking in the plaza. Service was quick and friendly. There was a lot of people studying but good amount of seating for groups. Music was a bit loud. Ordered the Thai Tea which tasted ok and Original Milk Tea with boba it was chewy and good. Cups were cool but one of the tops was not pressed right so drink was dripping a bit. I saw they also had snacks like ramen to eat as well which was cool.

Got three drinks: 2 green tea misugaru + earl grey milk tea and they were all so good! Would definitely come again

It's a great place for adults to relax too. The millet powder is very tasty. I should come with my wife next time.

I come by in the mornings sometimes for coffee. Quick service. Neat deco and music to study or chill with.

Boba Loca has a variety of drinks and is a boba shop that doesn't charge for boba which seems to be common in other boba shops these days!

Finally!! I have heard so much and have craved Halo Halo…read more Pretty busy on a Friday mid afternoon. Lots of food traffic with majority of customers coming for Halo Halo or drinks. The mini Upside Down Halo Halo was the perfect size and wasn't like a mini at all lol. Had a taste of brown sugar, included boba, jellies, scoop of ice cream, the Corn Flakes, flan. The cupcakes still taste good after 2 days. Texture and taste didn't change at all. Milo Cupcake: Buttercream reminded me of Milo on point. Ube Leche Flan Cupcake: Omg the taste of the Ube was Soo good and still moist. The flan on top made it extra yummy.

This is one week old review. It was on our list to try since I love halo halo. This place…read moreactually deserve 3.5 stars but since overall experience is positive, it round up to 4. The place is small but cozy and they have a giant couch in the middle for lounging. The price is high compare to other places, with the exception of their daily special tea. Their tea is actually cheap. I love love the jasmine calamonsi tea, so refreshing for $3. The halo halo was overwhelmed with ice cream, need more of other ingredients. The monster oreo shake was delicious but it is not worth it for that price. The ube flan cupcake was just ube cupcake and flan stack on top. It kinds of lacking the cohesiveness. Overall, I would come back just for that tea.

Parking: They're located in a high foot traffic plaza, so finding a parking spot can be difficult. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with a decent amount of indoor seating. The tables and seats were kept clean. There's cute decor from the ceiling as well. This is the type of spot where you'd bring your family with younger kids for something sweet, while the adults sit and talk. When we visited, my family and one other family pretty much took up all the tables lol. Service: There was only one worker behind the counter serving and making the drinks and desserts. She doesn't acknowledge anyone. It wasn't too busy, but throughput took a while since she was by herself. There's two kiosk to order from. You don't really interact with the worker until she brings out your order. Desserts & drinks: We ordered a mixture of almost everything. We noticed there were a few menu items that were out of stock. I ordered a mango pamelo sago, my sister ordered a brown sugar boba milk tea, my cousin ordered an americano, and my other cousin ordered a strawberry & cream eggette. I thought the mango pamelo sago was okay; the mango flavor was lacking except for the actual mangos. There was plenty of sago, but I thought this dessert was underwhelming. My sister thought the boba was okay bc it had an interesting texture, and the drink itself was lightly sweet than what she's used to. My cousin thought the coffee was okay. The only thing we all enjoyed was the eggette. It's a bubble waffle with ice cream and fresh fruits, which is pretty difficult to mess up. Pricing: Prices are pretty high for the portions offered. Overall, the desserts were underwhelming and some didn't meet our expectations. The eggettes are most likely the only thing we'll come back for.

I've been eyeing this spot for awhile, but never got around trying it. I finally was able to try…read moretheir desserts after having dinner in this plaza. We came in around 730pm on a Monday night and there were a few tables taken. I thought that was a good sign since it was kind of cold tonight...if people are choosing to come here on a cold night, there must be a reason why! When we walked in, there was a gal at the counter, but was on her phone. Barely looked up to greet us, which wasn't a big deal since there are kiosks for you to order, but what I thought was kind of strange was she didn't bother trying to help us when we kept saying out loud "there are no photos of this or that" literally just on her phone and not trying to explain any of their menu items. The kiosk set up is on top of the counter, so we were asking these questions right in front of her. Lol. Made me wonder what the point of her sitting there was. Might as well have been in the back to watch whatever she was watching on her phone to make things less awkward. Luckily both our desserts were fine, but I did not appreciate having someone sitting at the counter only to let you know they don't care if 1) it's your first time there, 2) are confused by some of their dessert names, and 3) photos are missing for many of their items listed in the kiosk. The tables were dirty, my bag got wet from whatever was left from the previous party. Not cool. If the service (or lack there of) was better and tables clean I may have rated this place higher. Though the desserts were decent, not I'll be back. ** Warning Auto Tip: I noticed when I got home that they added a 12% tip to my total. There was no option to get a printed receipt nor was there a step to review ANY tip. I've never experienced such a thing, especially when this is a self service/pick up cafe **
