Went for dinner and paid 15 each person, but it included drinks and desert so we thought that was very reasonable. There are no waiters picking things up or making sure you were doing alright, so that would be something they could add to enhance the experience. Otherwise, it`s good stuff. Very authentic, a number of dish varieties that are served up hot. Pita bread rocks. Baklava and little empanada looking things were great to finish it off. Go hungry. The ambience and decor sucks. I visited for a work related lunch and was waiting to get out of the place as soon as I was done with lunch. My husband and I are big fans of this place. The manager/owner is super friendly and attentive. The food is always great and flavorful. It's a great way to try lots of different kinds of food that you may not be familiar with, without committing to an entire entree in a regular restaurant. The price is a tiny bit more than a "regular" buffet, but it includes your drink, so that's nice. It's pretty dead in there around dinner time, which is when we eat there so sometimes the food has been sitting around a little bit. It's just a personal pet-peeve of mine. Came here for dinner when in town since it was a short ride from my hotel. Very impressed by how fresh the food was and the large selection of foods. Everything was very fresh and seasoned perfectly. The roasted eggplant was incredible as was the gyro meat and the kebab. Very clean and on the night I visited was not crowded. This was the first place I found in any restaurant (except fast food)in USA where I have to pay first. All the tables are messy, not even properly cleaned. Nobody showed us the way to table. Pita bread tray was mostly empty, pizza slices were cold (basket was almost empty), and not a bread was looking impressive. Creamy chicken pasta was good(which is not a Mediterranean food at all). I expected to find something of lamb,but nothing was there. Sweetened tea was totally unsweetened. Very surprisingly, I took a sprite,which was totally sweet-less. May b it was just a soda from sprite fountain.No idea how is that possible. Tables were arranged in a very messy way.No way left to go to the food rack. the line beside the buffet table was long enough to block the way,because no other way to go there. After some while no glass was available to take drink. My husband did not find plate after a while. Later on,they re-stacked them again. I was so excited after finding the Dimassi's in Humble TX earlier this week and we found ourselves in Irving so we decided to eat here today. Well that's where the excitement ends, we arrived at 11:00 and were the first customers to enter, so many of the tables were dirty from yesterday we were taken aback. Finally by 11:30 most entrees made it onto the buffet and to our surprise many meat items were cold such as the Gyro meat. The staff in Humble were so pleasant compared to here. When I payed for my meal with my credit card I stood looking at the man behind the counter waiting to get my receipt and he gave me an odd look like what do you want, I said I need a receipt, you would think I insulted him. We travel Texas a great deal and hope the locations are better then this one. read more

Food is great! There is a large variety of rice, salad, meats and vegetables for buffet. Comes with dessert, coffee, tea and drinks. Lunch is $12, dinner $13. Now the reason it's a 3 not 5 is the cleanliness. We were there for 2 hours between lunch and dinner, so not a busy time, the tables were never cleaned, picked up. I got a set of silverware that had dried food in the fork, then a cup that had food inside it. That made me feel like nothing was clean and May think twice before going again. read more

Went here with the family after reading several reviews for various places online. It was our first time eating mediterranean. For the most part, everything I ate was tasty. I didn't care for the lamb but my husband loved it. The food stayed plentiful on the buffet. My only complaint would be the buser cleaning off the table before we left. He didn't say anything and just started grabbing plates and stuff while we were sitting at the table talking. I found this to be a little rude. We came to the restaurant last night with our Groupon, which was a great deal and was accepted with no attitude from the employees (I've had bad experiences at other places where the cashiers are rude to Groupon users- if you don't want couponing people, don't sign up for the service!). All the employees were friendly. The decor is... bland. While the color palette is nice and there are a few nice decorations on the wall the entire place looks very boring and like a school cafeteria. Just rows and rows of tables with no booths and no real visual impact. Granted, if the food is good then decor don't matter quite as much. There was also this kind of terrible elevator muzak being piped in. They should get something more interesting or forego the music all together. Unfortunately, the food matched the decor. It wasn't bad, per se, just bland and flavorless. The hummus was actually tasty. The pita was cold and hard. The salads were wilted and brown and the pastas really had no flavor. Most of the dressings were pretty bland as well. If beige had a taste, it would taste like Dimassi's. Over at the hot section, I tried various rices. They were just alright. All the sides were really dry, as if they had been sitting for a long time. The potatoes. Dry. The caulifower. Dry. The falafel. Not dry, just pretty burnt on the outside and flavorless on the inside. My date tried every meat, but the fish. He reported the same. Dry. Bland. Meh. To be fair, some of it had been sitting out a long time and halfway through our meal they started replacing bins. We did go up and try the fresher items, but they were still flavorless. All in all, it's not the worst place I've ever eaten. The front of the house was really clean. The employess were incredibly nice. The food was not good. I won't be going back, especially when Andalous and Terra are both just as close and really tasty. read more

Really great variety of Mediterranean foods. The buffet allows you to try everything you are curious about. There are a lot of healthy options and vegan dishes. Be ready to eat! The side of my family from Jordan and Lebanon love eating here because it reminds them most of their food back home.
