    Sushi burrito.
    Candice F.

Arrived at 7 pm on a Saturday night and about half the tables were filled. I ordered: - The Spicy Tuna Tower $10.50: Beautiful presentation, however the rice on the bottom was stale. Spicy tuna was just ok. - Sushi Burrito: $7.99: fried california rolls with a teriyaki glaze? I guess I should have read the description better. I've never had a fried burrito, so what showed up threw me off. Very salty. - Beef teriyaki and shrimp/vegtable tempura, with potstickers $16.99: Served with 4 shrimp! Also served on a plastic to go tray, which is weird, but maybe this reduces waste if most people end up with leftovers? It is a lot of food! Beef was a small portion but good flavor. I definitely ordered too much food for one person, but I wanted to try a few different things. Overall, the tempura was my favorite, but you can get that at a lot of places. The Spicy Tuna Tower was prettier than it tasted. Unfortunately, my standards are higher, coming from the Bay Area. Everything was just really salty and I ended up drinking a lot of water. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On the bright side, the ambiance is nice and the service was excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Best kept secret near the Ritz Carlton Las Colinas. The Music Factory Roll is to die for! Seafood wrapped in soy paper with a mild spicy cream sauce drizzled on top. So good we forgot to take a picture until it was too late!

We love coming here. The service is great, the food is amazing, and a great value. Highly recommend for a date night or family outing.

    The Tuna tower is delicious.

Went in for a Bento box, got the teriyaki chicken. Took one bite and it was horrible! It tasted like it had been microwaved. Really gross. When I commented to the waitress, she said she could swap it out for the fried pork option, but it would be more expensive. Wow. Ok...so I got that...and it wasn't any better. See pic...quite a few of the piece's had this gross fat or something, and it is not meant to be consumed. Oh, and when I mentioned to server while paying that the chicken just wasn't good, she then informed me it was defrosted. But it was grilled. Yeah...microwaved. Service was nice, she was just doing what she was told as far as still charging me extra for the gross pork. But sadly I'm already paying for this meal gastro-wise.

One of the best hidden gems in DFW This place is a must try for their sushi ! The service is also very welcoming

    Spicy Tuna Tower

For the price the best sushi hands down. I definitely don't come here for the ambience. Also, expect horrible service, I've been coming here 10+ years and it has always been the same. Servers standing around, not doing anything talking to each other when drinks need to be refilled, or we need to-go containers and the check. I can't remember the last time I came here and I didn't have to get up to get my own to go container and ask for the check. If the food wasn't so amazing, I wouldn't continue to come here. I highly recommend the spicy, tuna tower, the Cajun roll, the lobster roll, and the burrito roll. I don't think anything on their menu is bad, but these are my favorites. They do have a large menu, so several items to pick from which is nice.

    Sushi buffet - all good!

Very, very good! I popped in today for the first time when I saw they had a resonably priced sushi buffet. Not gonna lie, I kind of expected the sushi to be a bit dried out and flavorless (like at most buffet places) but it was fresh, delicious, and there was a great variety! Obviously they aren't serving up premium sushi for the buffet, but they had classics like spicy tuna, salmon, california, tonkatsu, and seaweed salad. They also offered delicious teriyaki chicken, fried rice, tempura chicken and shrimp, sauteed veggies, and fresh salad with dressing. I enjoyed everything I ate, and the servers were prompt, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. The interior of the restaurant is quaint, nothing fancy, but clean and uncluttered. I appreciated the quiet background music for the ambiance. I will definitely be back!

Sashimi was great and fresh. The pan fried pork belly has good seasoning but quite salty. We took it home to eat with rice. Pork cutlet was very dry. Wings were dry too, not juicy. Tonkotsu ramen tasted good and salty too. The servers were nice. I do think they expect you to know your order already to make a quick turnaround since there were constant ppl waiting at the door. Short wait on a weekday right when the doors open (in 100+ degree summer heat). But I don't think it was amazing and felt hyped up to me. Prob would not come again if you have to wait in similar heat.

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about "middle of the road", not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics..... And if ya gotta ask, YES......all that food pics I took, I actually ate all that food. I swear when I got back to the hotel, I was in total kanak attack (Hawaiian Paralysis). Lol!
