Clean Buffet
Big M.

I know this is a chain restaurant but it was recommended so we had to give the lunch buffet a try. First impressions, very clean and lots of seating. Sometimes buffet lines can look like a tornado barreled through but, the staff is consistently cleaning and freshening up the line. Considering it is a buffet the food was fresh & flavorful. We enjoyed the ability to try a variety of items and overall it was as expected. I would be interested in trying the dinner Buffet

Stopped by Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet for dinner and left genuinely satisfied. Wide Mediterranean selection -- grilled meats, rice, vegetables, fresh bread, and plenty of options including desserts. The space is clean and relaxed.

Ask the Community - Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet

What's is the difference between the lunch and dinner menus?

Just the price, lunch has the same wonderful food set out in the buffet as for the dinner.

Is the food Halal?

The food has always been consistently good, and is always made to order. I always go with a chicken shawarma wrap, but this time chose to go with the plate, as they had it on lunch special. I don't recall ever getting the rice before, so I was really glad to try it. It was light and fluffy and seasoned just right. The chicken was so warm and had all the yummy earthy flavors that I loved, which went great with the bread and hummus! I love the fries, because although they are simple, they've always been hot and fresh out the fryer!!! Seasoned just right as well. This is a small little locally owned restaurant, I've never seen a ton of people inside at once, but I always see a ton of folks coming in for takeout orders. Anytime I'm nearby, I will always stop by here!

I know the page says it's closed, but I just went here for the first time and wow it was delicious!…read moreIt's located in a very unassuming strip of stores, next to a market. We ate pretty early around 5pm, and it was very empty, which was nice because it meant our food came fast. We tried the chicken shawarma bowl and the beef shawarma bowls. The food tasted delicious, but did seem a little less fresh, like maybe it had been sitting for a while, which would make sense because it wasn't exactly prime dinner hour yet, so maybe perhaps left from lunch? Either way, the portions were great, enough to take home leftovers. And the flavor of the meat was superb. They were so warm and kind to our family, especially our two year old. I appreciated the thoughtful touches the staff added to make our dining experience special. It definitely gave the cozy feeling of a mom and pop diner but mediterranean style! I loved it. We will definitely be coming back.

I hate writing this because this used to be one of my favorite places. I've been coming here for a…read morewhile, and today honestly felt like losing a local gem. I came in for the soft opening after weeks of renovations, and while the name and menu are the same, everything else is not. This is not the same restaurant. If you knew the original owner, you would know he created something special. It felt like you were being welcomed into his home. He took pride in the food and in making sure every customer felt well cared for. Appetizers always came out first with some friendly conversation, and you could feel the care he put into every detail. That experience is gone. First, I waited 30+ minutes for a dish that normally takes 15, even on a busy night. When I left, a couple who had ordered before me were still waiting for their wraps! Second, the food has changed. The chicken shawarma and gyro recipes are different, and the gyro was actually cold. The sauces, which used to be the highlight, are not the same. The red sauce is gone, and the garlic sauce tastes different. The rice is different. The salad is now a small pile of romaine, onion, cucumber, black olives, and corn with no dressing. Overall, the new recipes feel like a massive downgrade from the original recipes. Lastly, I told the host I would be dining inside, but my food was served in plastic containers. Meanwhile, a nearby group that appeared to be staff or family was served plated food that looked noticeably fresher and better prepared. It honestly felt like their food was prioritized over paying customers, which may have explained the delays. The menu photos have not changed, but they no longer reflect what is actually being served. That feels misleading, especially for customers like me who were excited for the reopening. Very disappointing.

We were greeted and seated right away. Service throughout was warm and attentive, our server checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. They started us with warm, crispy bread and a yogurt-based dip that was quite flavorful. I ordered the lamb shish kebab platter (well done), and we also tried the chicken shish kebab platter. Both came with buttery rice, a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil, and yogurt sauce. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned, but the lamb was the highlight. Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

The interior has a nice,…read morecasual feel, and the photos of the owner in Greece add a bit of personality and charm to the space. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the setting. The biggest issue was that everything was very salty -- to the point where it was hard to finish the meal. I had the street gyro (lamb and beef), and while the texture was fine, the seasoning overwhelmed the dish. My child ordered the "Sneaky Taziki," which ended up being a dried-out chicken breast with cheese in a tortilla, and he barely touched it. Overall, this feels like a place designed for a more generic take on Greek/Mediterranean food rather than something truly authentic or memorable. There's nothing outright bad about it, but nothing really stands out either. It's fine, just not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again. 3 Stars, right down the middle.

The falafel was ok, I would not order it again. The presentation was nice, but lacked flavor and zest. The only thing with flavor was the harissa chicken. We had a large group and split up between tables. Staff did clear the tables quickly and food was prepared quick. If you need a fast lunch with salad, it might do the trick.
