HORRIFIC MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I've spent $600 plus in a month in Dillards I've returned 4 things that I ended up not liking or not fitting. I had tags with yellow sticker and receipt and they were inspecting the garments as if they had a plague. Refusing to return two of the items because it had a spec of deodorant on the side??? I've never ever dealt with this kind of issue before it makes me never want to shop at Dillards again but I know for sure it won't be the one at Stonebriar in Frisco. read more

I just bought a sport coat, shirt and tie from John in the men's department. John is seventy-something and was an absolute delight to work with. He helped me pick out a great jacket with matching shirt and tie. I didn't know my shirt size, but John pulled out his measuring tape and sized me perfectly. John worked for Sears for a bazillion years (started back in 1970) and really knows what customer service is all about. If your a man and need some help finding a suit, you can't find a better gentleman than John. read more

One of my fave places to shop ! The store at Stonebriar mall is a newer and smaller location than most malls. Easy to navigate and clean too ! I love to shop their sales specially when they have their end of the month sales , you can really score some great deals ! I they do have a great selection of brands and their own in house brands too ! I love checking out the shoe dept , handbags and also their contemporary section ! Stonebriar mall gets really busy and Parking can be a headache so I love to park at Dillards and walk to where I want to go in the mall! read more

**Had to lower the stars given after giving them another chance and being treated the exact same way. Added to review at bottom** I can't give them 5 stars but I can't give them 1 star. Some of the employees are great and others make you never want to shop at this location again. I'm what you call a "frequent flyer" at Dillard's. I know many of the employees from shopping there so often. Some of them make my experience great so I often shop only on certain days so that I get them when I am shopping. Anytime I have ever had to return anything for wrong size or received the wrong thing from an online purchase the return as has beeb extremely easy. You can take it back to the department in which you purchased it or would purchase it and they simply just refund you. They are simple and fast. I did my first return at the actual customer service desk because it was a day that I normally don't go in shopping, (a Monday) so no one was in the department. Instead of being greeted with a hello, I was hit with huffs and puffs instructing me to find someone else, that she, Joyce was her name, only did online returns. When I informed her there was no one in the department she told me she still couldn't help me I would have to come back another day. I asked if there was anyway she could help me or someone that could. She snatched the item from me and rolled her eyes then never said another word to me. **update 7 months later. I found something online that was only being sold at Dillard's. I got into the store to purchase it and yet again the WORST customer service. From walking in and needing to check out to get again being given the run around on being able to check out. With big box store companies going out of business left and right it seems like only a matter of time before Dillard's goes out of business with service like this. From Carla in customer service and the "floor manager" Brooke who didn't want to come down to speak to a customer. I don't know why they aren't out of business yet when you can shop online or go somewhere like Nordstrom's and be treated like a human. read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY& DON'T SHOP HERE!!!!!! This was the most unprofessional , uninviting, disgusting place I've ever been too. It was filthy, the employees were rude, nobody cared to help. The management and store manager was even worse it was unbelievable and are beyond trash. customer service is no where in their vocabulary . I truly believe that the staff are trained to be racist and profile certain customers based on their image . They try their hardest to make you uncomfortable instead of creating a nice experience. Suddenly the police are just randomly wondering around coincidentally .They are quick to call Security to follow you around rather than asking you " are you finding everything ok?" And assisting you . Customer service is just trifling and all they want is your money, they dgaf about you or your shopping experience ! By far the worst shopping place I've ever been too never been treated so poorly. This place has been going down hill and will continue to do so until they figure out their issue . Thank you Dillards at Stonebriar for finding me a pair of Michael Kors heels with bows on them that were perfect for my trip to California in July 2015. I was looking for a pair of pumps that would be conservative and not over the top, but also cute, and not "old lady looking." I found a pair of Michael Kors heels (not so much pumps because they weren't very high, and of course being clumsy, I would not wear anything too high because I am known to fall.) These shoes were perfect but Stonebriar Dillards did not carry the shoes in a 7 1/2, but did offer to call Dillards at Fairview, which is closer to my home in McKinney, and carried my size. I was very impressed with the way the Salesman handled the situation because he wasn't getting commission for the sale, but he did go out of his way to make sure that I received the shoes that I wanted, and that they would be waiting for me when I arrived at Dillards at Fairview. I explained to him that my flight was leaving the next day and I really needed to get the shoes and then start packing for my trip (because I procrastinated and packed at the last moment.) Anyhow, he was very nice, and also offered to show me some other pairs of Kors shoes that I didn't really care for, but I didn't want to be rude and tried them on regardless of not liking them at all. I have had nothing but good experiences at Dillards at Stonebriar and I would recommend shopping in their home goods section as well as their petites section, where I also received quite a bit of help trying to find a dress for a special occasion. Being from California, and only having Macy's and Nordy's, I hadn't experienced Dillards, and I really do think they go out of their way more than Macy's to make you feel comfortable and taken care of, not to mention the fact that they ensure that you find what you are looking for, and if they can't find it at their store, they will locate it for you. Great service and I've always had a very good experience at the Stonebriar Dillards in Frisco. I will most likely go back before summer. read more

Dillards always have a sale. Thats the only thing good about it. The sales people are worse than car salesmen. If I need your help I will ask. Then when you actually need someone's help they can't be found. Also just like Wal-Mart they have a lot of registers but only one ever seems to be open. I don't even recommend walking through if you can avoid it. read more

My wife has been looking for a dress for a wedding coming up for the past 2 months. Today she finally found the perfect one she has been looking for, only to find out that the dress has no item tag. My wife takes the dress up to an associate who called over a manager due to not knowing what the item was and the manager refused to sell the dress, that my wife found on a rack inside the store. Tara(manager) refused to give my wife a point of contact of the store GM. Tara would only give the first name of the store GM. So my wife left then found the SAME dress on Dillard's website and walked back to the store to show them the product. The GM came down to speak with my wife about how even if the product is on Dillards.com he cannot sell the item in store to her. Then he told her that he has been burned by some many customers...... I love me some Dillard's shopping! Their sales are always so hush-hush but when there is a sale, people flock to the store including me. This Dillard's located in Stonebriar Mall has neither offended me nor done anything extraordinary but it's close to home. Everything is generally orderly and the sales rep aren't overbearing so that's always a plus. read more

Had a terrible experience with the sales representative in the men's suiting department. We noticed how friendly he was with the (Caucasian) family before us and then with us (Asian family) he was exceptionally curt, giving only one word answers. Worst customer service ever. I brought a brand new watch in to get the band adjusted. The lady failed to inform me she wasn't allowed to do so OR that she didn't know what she was doing. She ran off for 30 minutes with my watch and ended up confessing to me she broke the band. After several meetings with the store manager they agreed to pay to have it repaired at the watch store. They EPOXY glued the ceramic piece and sure enough 2 weeks later the band came apart. This time they offered to pay what I paid for it (50% off sales price) NOT what it costs today..what good does that do me? I can't even buy the watch for that now. Their employee violated company policy and they refuse to take responsibility. Bunch of cheap bastards charging Nordstrom prices minus the Nordstrom service. Mixed bag here - The good: Gerald in menswear is fabulous. Beyond fabulous, actually. Kind, professional, knowledgeable, helpful and fun. We have bought an entire new wardrobe for my husband since January and Gerald has been the consummate professional. Designer purses also has some great people. The Bad: the customer assistance in women's clothes is horrible. Have to find them to get a fitting room door unlocked and when you do, they act like it's an inconvenience. Not helpful at all and continually borderline on rude. I swear it's worse than a Walmart down there. I would not return except that we often come to see Gerald in menswear. Service is so bad in the women's area I have had to carry clothes upstairs or to other departments to check out because I wasn't able to find help in ladies. Sheila, Polly, and Ruby were all unwilling to help check me out. He was the second nicest person we talked to though yeah we talked to three people and most of them were rude especially him and this other lady in the home department. Another lady we asked if they had a third-floor and she was like no like she was probably the nicest about it though like she was nice but still she was the only nice one we talked to. Speaking of which none of the employees had a smile on their face it look like they were forced to work there. #GetABetterAttitude and then when we were on our phones at Dillards my butt was barely touching a bed and the lady yelled me like "can you just get off the bed!"like come on like really. Normally this Dillard store is awesome and yes, they have great sales. I did however have an experience where they wouldn't take two items for review due to their "3-day" return policy on items that are on a certain clearance. I was not aware of this and even their counter sign didn't say anything about it. I had to email the corporate office to get anyone to help me. So now after the manager there told me that there was no person in the entire store that could override that, I have to go back there for them to magically override it. Why do people lie? read more

Dillard's has great clothing, great customer service, crapping manager rules. I spent over $600.00 in mans clothing. The cashier rang up two pair of pants that were the same but different sizes. I got home and realized his mistake. I returned the clothing a few weeks later and was told that they were on sale (I did not notice) and not returnable ( which was never told to me)the supervisor wanted to give me a gift card. I did not want a gift card. But that did not stop the manager, he gave me a gift card( which I refused) and told me to go down stairs and cash my gift card. I walk out of the store with out a gift card or the pants, promising to never return. There are plenty store that want my business. read more
