I've come here so many times since my move to the DFW region and have gotten so many useful knickknacks. I love how immaculate this store is and especially how they organize all of their items. If you're moving out for the first time, this is a great store to pick up new silverware, dishes/bowls, glassware, storage containers, and even cleaning supplies! My favorites from the store are their storage containers because it's really helped me keep my house in order and out of chaos! If someone were to walk into one of the dollar stores and give it steroids, you would get a Daiso Japan. When we first pulled up, the first thing I noticed was how clean this place is. I don't mean kinda clean like my kid room, I mean crazy clean like its brand new with the price tag on it still. My purchase ranged from pencils, erasers and scissors for my kid, to an oven mitt and several ceramic bowls that I will use next time I order Pho. There are these little stick chocolate candy's called Pockys that my son is crazy for. They come in a variety of sizes and they are pretty small. Here's the best part. I walked in, spend thirty minutes here, and walked out with a bag full of stuff for only $27 My son had enough pencils, erasers and school stuff that he even shared with his friends. This place is delightful and I look forward to coming again and buying things I didn't realize I needed till I saw it there. read more

I'm so happy to have Daiso right across the street from me. There are so many interesting things to look at and everything is so affordable! It's always super clean and organized - I also like that they have their seasonal goods in the front. I usually don't have trouble getting through the checkout line and the cashiers are always friendly. The main things I buy from here are cooking utensils, snacks, and the larger Oi Ocha tea bottles. They have a large selection of drinks in their fridge, but I tend to gravitate towards unsweet green and jasmine tea. read more

Fun store! I was originally told this store was a Japanese version of a Five Below. Well, I will say it's much more than that. Yes, there's plenty of Asian items for sale. But they carry such a different array of products from home goods, decor, toys, foods, and the list goes on and all reasonably priced. Stop on by and give it a look! read more

This is one of our favorite places to browse. The price point is great for unique gifts and for your kiddo to spend their allowance. Cute Daiso! The snacks are totally different than the carrolton. Everything was organized super well and clean. The cashier (Alice?) from California was super friendly! I enjoyed shopping at this location. Great washi tape and sticker collections! I'll definitely shop here again soon. I hope they keep everything stocked as well as they did! It's a Japanese dollar store what's not to love? Everything is $1.50 unless marked otherwise. I always find so much stuff here that I definitely don't need. It's great for cute stationary stuff, but there is also a ton of stuff you never knew that you needed. I always go to Daiso when I'm in California so I was happy to stumble upon on when I was in DFW. They have great re-useable bag items here. One of my favorite sections is the kitchen area, they have a good variety of tools, utensils, and dishes. read more

Cute stuff, cheap but useful. Lately the price has gone up so it's not really a dollar store so much as a $1.50-2 store. I never usually see more than 2 people working in the store, and one cashier. Overall it's quaint and has a lot of small cute items, as well as useful ones. read more

I shopped here during their soft opening week, and I have to say I was impressed with how clean and organized everything was. Most stuff was easy to find, the prices were good, and and the employees were super helpful. One girl saw my hands getting full and she ran to the front of the store to get me a basket. It's basically a Japanese Dollar General but with cooler stuff. They have some nice Japanese snacks here, and a lot of odd (for the US) nicknacks. Only downside is how addicting this store is; I walked out with a $25 bill haha. Oh well, worth it. There was one minor hiccup where something that was priced $3 rang up as $4, but when I pointed it out they immediately corrected the issue and and gave me the lower price. They're literally slapping USD price stickers over the JPY ones, so I imagine it was just a currency conversion mistake. Everything else was priced correctly. read more

I LOVE THIS STORE! After passing the Plano one almost every day, I didn't even realize what kind of store it was until I saw a Facebook post about it. My daughter LOVES all things Japanese, so we decided to take an afternoon visit and it definitely lived up to the hype! This store is freakishly clean and organized! Everything was $1.50 unless otherwise marked (and they were CLEARLY MARKED...no guessing). We ended up spending about 45 minutes there just browsing through all the cute and interesting items then grabbed snacks and Japanese drinks on the way out and sat outside enjoying those before heading back home. Just an FYI, they do stamp the receipt with a note that says there are NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. I don't see that being a huge issue since everything is so reasonably priced, BUT it's nice to know ahead of time. read more

I was so excited to visit this store on a recent trip to see my dad. I was not aware of Daiso until maybe a year ago when I saw a video on YouTube about the chain in Japan. Because of the conversion rate, all items in the store are $1.50 (versus $1.00) unless marked, and the other prices are clearly marked. We arrived right after opening on a Sunday and were greeted by the friendly cashier. She explained the pricing system and made a few announcements over the intercom throughout our shopping visit. So much to look at!! They had cute seasonal items and lots of stationary, beauty/skin care items, household items, and snacks. If you love Disney home items be sure to stop in - we found a super cute Mickey Mouse shaped ice cube tray, on top of other things. My dad had never been in (he's lived in the area for 10 years) and was impressed by the selection of items. The store was very tidy and well kept. Can't wait to go back on my next visit to see what they have. read more

I freaking love Daiso. This location is pretty close to my work so I come here whenever I need to quickly buy something to the house or office. Even if I only had one item on my list, there is a very high chance I will come out with more stuff. I really love Daiso! I kind of like this location better than the Plano location near home, so that's why I give it this one a 5 star, and I tend to come to this one more often. This store is pretty clean, well organized, and it is spacious.. More room to roam around and find some cool stuff! Most items are $1.50 unless noted by a small sticker with another price. You can find so much stuff, from greeting cards, photo boxes, toys, office supplies, chair socks, baskets, kitchenware, Asian snacks and drinks, pet supplies, gardening supplies, makeup, and more... This store is next to a 99 Ranch, Gen Korean BBQ, and other well known Asian stores/restaurants so I am sure it gets packed on the weekends but during the weekdays it is not so busy; I always get a parking spot right in front of the store. read more

Purchased 10 solar garden lights, some of them costed $4 a piece. They have been placed in the front and back yard for a week now, full sun....only one solar light is working ( not bright at all), other 9 of them are NOT working at all, disappointed!!!!! Yay! I'm so excited there is a Daiso near me now! I love going here for cheap but fun office supplies - great paper clips, plastic folders, cute erasers, etc. They've got a lot of fun, random items, although this is not as large of a store as a few I've been to in California. The snacks are great too - love the sodas in particular. read more
