This Dillard's has poor customer service... from sales associate and up the ranks into management. Shopping shouldn't be a disappointing, high-friction activity, but this is where the Dillard's at Stonebriar Centre shines brightly! Last week, the woman working in the Men's Department hounded me about opening a Dillard's card (no thanks) then basically begged me to come back and make my future purchases when she's working so she gets the sales. Weird, customer experience, but ok. I wash everything before I wear it, and the shirt I bought was no exception. The shirt pilled and had an unseeable defect in the weave of the fabric. I went to exchange it, before even a week passed. The weird gal who sold me the shirt wasn't working (thankfully) but a guy who didn't seem like he knew what he was doing named Syed was. He called the assistant manager over... she was going to exchange it due to the defect... until I noted the shirt had been washed in a mesh delicates bag, she then tells me, "Oh, we can't exchange this, it's not in its original condition"... but clearly there was something wrong enough with the fabric that it pilled in two places... that's poor quality. I told them to keep the shirt... it was falling apart. People complain about Dillard's and their hostile customer policies and how they often won't stand by what they sell... and I never really understood why... now I completely understand. Done with Dillard's. There's absolutely nothing they sell that you can't find at Macy's on the low end and Nordstrom on the high end. read more

I thought I had been to the nicest Dillards and then I found this store at Stonebriar. This is a really nice department store! I was amazed at the selection and the brands here. Carrera, Prada, Chanel, Louis...they have them all here! Add a friendly and helpful staff to that and you have a winning value proposition if you ask me. They also were having a great deal on their clearance items, 65% off their regular price! With that deal, they made "great" even better! This is definitely my new favorite Dillards store! Dillard's is a place I visit almost every week! When I need a new outfit it is the first place I go. I love their ladies dress department. They carry lots of daytime and casual dresses in many brands such as Antonio Melani, Vince Camuto, Donna Karan, Gianni Bini, Calvin Klein and many more. Everything is always nice, neat and orderly. The jewelry department happens to be my favorite! It's huge! If I am sad I will go just to stare and smile at the great, fun jewelry they have there!!! The shoe department is wonderful as well. There is always a friendly salesperson to help in all departments from my experience. I feel like most everything is decently priced even if not on sale yet. Great place to shop!! read more

Their collections are so darn beautiful, if I could I would purchase one of every item they have. Although I loved their clothes, I wasn't fond of their price tag. I don't know if I would pay $300 for a top tbh, maybe for special occasions but not for everyday wear. My fiancé was curious about some new cologne and these two ladies were very helpful in helping him find exactly what he was wanting. Valentino Uomo Yellow Dream, which smells amazing is what he ended up picking out. And the one lady was so sweet and gave him several samples to try out. Walked in to Dillard's today for the first time since 2019 and was searching for a particular brand. Elizabeth was so kind, helpful, and courteous and pointed me in the right direction. Chances are, if you are wanting to find something specific, you will find it here at half the price without compromising on quality. She promptly took the items from my hand and directed me towards the fitting rooms. She checked on me occasionally to see if I needed further assistance. Of course, I left with more items than I intended, but with the amount of weight I have lost, I have earned a new wardrobe and closet refresh. I even signed up and got approved for a Dillard's Credit Card at the time of purchase. So glad I decided to stop by today. All in all, a successful 5-star shopping experience, thanks to Elizabeth. Called 3 different times to try and check stock on boots that were priced almost $300. 'Sara (not sure if she gave a real name) in customer service just kept cutting me off and blindly transferring. Couldn't get anyone on the line and so I'll gladly purchase from Amazon. My business is obviously not needed or wanted so noted Dillard's, but maybe train your customer service people to actually provide customer....service? read more

This place's employees first accused me and my friend of stealing in a very rude way then kept pointing at us. The employees also got mad at us for using the only papers we saw for the cologne testers, there were literally no papers so we used the only ones they had but apparently there are specific papers for certain colognes but we just used the only ones there were. Then they were just out of a lot of cologne. read more

My daughter was looking for a dress for an upcoming school dance. Her school has a very strict dress code she she wanted a parents opinion. Two members of the staff informed me, rather rudely, that I had to leave. Apparently a male parent cannot enter the fitting area, even though it is not labeled women only. Horrible service in Women's shoe department. I understand that they work for commissions, but basic customer service is always warranted! Another sales person walked all the way across the women's shoe department to tell the lady who brought my first pair of shoes to bring me a sock to use to try the shoes on. Unprofessional and lack basic human response! I requested another shoe from the original sale person. She left to help someone else. I went to the register a male and a females sales person looked me directly in the eye, said nothing and did not go to get my sales person. My husband and I waited and waited and waited. The two sales person walked away and my sales person never came back. We left and went to the man's shoe department to purchase shoes and a wallet for him. The attentive sale person in the men's department heard my complaint and call the shoe department manager, Mustafa. Waited for 15 mins carrying a shoe around to purchase for my girlfriend before a sales associate finally approached me to ask if I needed assistance. The male in the attached pic walked by me twice and made eye contact without acknowledging me, which he kept disappearing to the back room for a few minutes each time. Shopped in the girl's shoe department Friday 9/13/24. I explained that I struggle finding shoes to fit me because I have a small foot. I am an older woman. I needed a shoe for a formal wedding. I also I need a black flat for work. I asked the sales associate if she could check in the back for a 3 or 3 1/3. I would have been thrilled if she would have been willing to help by searching around and maybe bringing out three or four pairs of shoes for me to try. But it was obvious she didn't have time to wait on me. I'm not faulting her specifically for that but Dillards come on. I'm a paying customer. I was the only customer in that department needing help and this woman came from the back out to the area where I was at And acted like she needed to be doing something else not waiting on me. Then another customer showed up with a couple of kids. The sales lady then was done helping me. She wanted to help the other customer. she handed me a pair of black shoes and said here is what I have for you, I took them because they were kind of cute but I just felt like I was bothering her so I just wanted to say I may very well go back to a different Dillards girls department next time. I hate to be that way, but you know I have a hard shoe size and I really need help and if your people are in the back doing paperwork or stocking and not in the mood for selling or don't have time to sell I need to go elsewhere so I'm sorry but just wanted you to know what kind of experience I had. read more

At approximately 6:30pm on 2/13/2020 me and my 6 year old granddaughter went in to the men's section to purchase a Valentines gift for her Grandfather. The salesman who helped me find two shirts for my husband was very courteous and said we could gift wrap downstairs in customer Service. At approximately 7:00pm we arrive downstairs at customer service where this poor lady ( African American) is being yelled at by the female manager(Caucasian, with dark hair) at the customer service counter. My granddaughter was so frightened and I could not believe what I was witnessing, I took out my phone to video what was happening. The manager was screaming at this lady telling her she will not accept her return because she simply didnot believe her for whatever reason. No matter the situation a professional who is servicing a customer should never yell at a customer that way. The male clerk behind the counter did not have a name tag but stated his name was Matt. I asked Matt why is the manager yelling to this lady, who I did not here say anything, Matt just laughed. The customer walked off with red teary eyes just speechless and got into the elevator. It gets worse. I asked to have the two shirts gift wrapped. Well Matt says he's not wrapping, then states well we don't have red boxes for Valentine's Day anyway. I asked for the blue wrap. Matt stated it will be 45 minutes but have to find someone. I said ok, I'll wait. Matt called someone to come do the gift wrap, whoever he called said No, he laughed and advised me no one can wrap your gift and you have to come back in the morning because the manager surely won't wrap it. Are you serious! I told Matt it's only 7:00pm . Matt stated there's nothing he could do because the person that usually wraps left at 6:00pm. This is very unprofessional and neither Matt nor the female Manger should be working in customer service. This is the 2nd time In less than 2 months I have had issues with customer service. been shopping at Dillards for for a very long time . I buy most of my boss clothes from Dillard's . so my wife had me tie shopping for a wedding so that the tie matches the wedding theme . guys you know how that is. so I purchase three ties for her to choose from I keep one and the next week I return to the store the two unlucky ties only to be told I couldn't return one of the two. because it was more than three days .yes I said 3 days . I have always found them very helpful when the sales people want my money but the first time ever I have a return for a very small amount 25 dollars they bluntly informed me of this 3 day policy . they were adept enough to point it out on my receipt as if I really pay that close detail to what they print on it . At no time did the sales person who knew I was returning two ties tell me about this policy . such a silly thing to lose a customer over . but for me it is a good thing there are plenty of other places to shop and even still get my boss clothes . The woman that works at the Junior's department that wears crazy make up and nappy black short hair with a dress was very rude and made it seem like I was a bother. Very poor customer service. I am a very frequent Dillard's customer, one of my favorite stores. Usually I am met with amazing people at Dillard's stores but the lady at this one was just so rude. She gave a very disgusting attitude when I asked for help, definitely not a good look for the store! If I could do zero stars I would. I have had beyond amazing service in the mens department at this location, hence two stars instead of one. Too often, like today, merchandise is signed with the incorrect percentage off, and they refuse to honor the what the sign says. This happens in the jewelry department every time, regardless of location. I haven't even shopped jewelry at Dillards in years because of this...but tried today believing it would be different. Today I left this Dillards without buying anything due to the jewelry I wanted to purchase from the 65% off display, not actually being on sale for that amount. Mistakes happen but IF the percentage off was honored due to the amount of items signed I would have left with not only this purchase, but most of my Christmas shopping completed and purchased there as well. Instead, employees aren't empowered or dont care enough to correct the issue and today this store lost $100s of dollars in sales due to incorrect pricing that would have amounted to maybe $20 for them. read more

I guess I never gave this location a chance before, until a friend told me about some a good deal she had found on some jeans and I couldn't resist checking it out for myself. Sure enough, the super discounted jeans were there and then some! Left with a bunch of great finds. Only thing that irked me is the return policy. Only a 3-day return on the clearance items. Boo. Store is clean and easy to navigate. Employees are hard to locate when you need assistance. But friendly when you manage to track one down. Overall, a pretty decent location and will probably be back again soon. read more

We visited this particular store at Stonebriar Mall today, Jul 18th to try out some shirts. When my son found some that he liked and was heading to the fitting room, one of the store sales associate literally ran up to him to stop him from trying those shirts and tried instead to get my son some other shirts to try. The interesting thing is that those shirts he was "allowed " to try were not even in the same style at all. I mean, in all my life and in all other big departmental stores, I have never been restricted to what shirts I can try out and what shirts I am forced to try. I am wondering if your sales associates are prison guards or what. This is really disappointing and an extremely bad experience. I am not surprised if this is happening because that male sale associate was worried that he had to fold back the shirts if we didn't like them. He should not be hired at all if he is not interested to provide good customer experience to your customers. My wife and I went to Dillard to the Lancome makeup counter and purchased some foundation while we were there the lady helping us was also answering questions and gave my wife some samples to try out. I paid for the foundation and we left however it wasnt until we got home that we both realized the sales associate didnt give us the foundation. The next day we both tested positive for COVID and have been sick for over a week. However my wife called up to the store to let them know what had happened and spoke to a male assistant manager who took down her name and number and said not to worry about it when we felt up to it and got better we could come back to get the foundation. So we went up there this past Saturday and spoke with the store manager whose name is Dua and she said she spoke with the sales associate and they denied forgetting to give it to us. We asked her to please check the surveillance cameras and she should eb able to see crystal clear that the associate never gave it to us. She said she would look into it and call us and we have still to hear back or get resolution. I am a RVP for a retail company and we have been loyal customers of Dillards for years and cannot believe that over 60.00 they are willing to lose a customer get bad reviews on social media and google. Sadly this Dillard's has gone down hill and will likely be trying to save this location like JCPennys due to poor management and untrained associates. The manager (Travis in particular) isn't much of a support system since he won't get come out of his office to use customer issues as a learning experience for his staff. A young man in the men's department tried his best to help me when we noticed a hole in a shirt I had just purchased. When he couldn't figure out how to do an exchange he called Travis, the manager. Instead of coming to help he said I could meet him in customer service. I go down there and he doesn't even come out of the lounge area. He sends Farrah (who seems to have valuable experience and should be in management) to address the issue even though I asked numerous time to speak with him and no response. I was brought here by my daughter who loves their dress section which always has a pretty good selection and the dress's are affordable. The sales racks had good deals though we didn't buy off that. I'm specifically reviewing the shoe department here at this location. As soon as I walked up to the shoe department I was super excited about the awesome selection. I was instantly greeted by a gentleman and he offered to help me find what I was looking for. I have been to at least four other stores looking for Sorel brand shoes. I haven't been able to find them anywhere until I came to Dillard's. The selection was incredible and the service was wonderful. The store was organized and clean. I don't live in Frisco but I will come back here specifically to shop at this location. read more

I went into the store to buy a homecoming dress for my daughter and we were super excited we saw what looked to be the perfect dress kind of what we were looking for all night but couldn't find went straight to it. I asked my daughter do you want to try this on it she was like oh yeah that's great. As She and I were saying this finish an employee screamed at us from the cash wrap( at least 20ft away) we are closed we are closed we are closed we are closed! I turned to see who she was looking at and she was screaming at us which I thought was interesting because she wasn't screaming at anybody else who also walked in before or after us not sure why she picked us to discriminate against. she did have a line of people at her cash register and it's the weekend before homecoming and I'm sure that her section had been hit hard but if you don't like your job you should quit and get a new one not take it out on the customers. I have been in retail and customer service for over 20 years as a manager and assistant manager and I've had people come knock on my door after the doors are locked and I let them in. Now that's going above and beyond and I get that and customer service is dead and not what I would expect from an hourly employee but this is beyond lack of customer service. this was straight up harassment from an employee to a customer! I went to the I went to the cosmetics counter and spoke to one of the ladies over there. The disappointment continues: she was having a conversation with her buddies leaning on the counter. so they were all just chitchatting never spoke to anybody keeping their backs to everybody so again the store has the worst customer service when we came in people didn't speak to anyone they didn't speak to people in front of us behind us. Dillards should probably just clean house fire everyone including the manager who is there who I'll let you know how he was later anyway I asked the lady from the cosmetics counter which I had to interrupt her conversation and get her attention and I said may I speak with the store manager please. She uh no he is gone for the day sorry but there's a manager over there at the gate. OK so I walk over and I said I understand you are a manager and he says yes with a big sigh so he was irritated that he had to talk to a customer and I said I'm sorry I understand you're closing we walked in a few minutes before excited to find a dress for my daughter for homecoming . Her first homecoming btw and we were looking at it and talking about it and your employee screamed at us across the store we're closed we're closed we're closed it was very upsetting and he was like oh well what section let me guess the juniors section and I said yeah right over here and I pointed to the cash wrap. Where she was continuing to check people out so well I'll talk to her. It was obvious he really didn't care and I said well we won't be shopping here again and we left. We went back to Macy's that was still open- open until 9 and bought a beautiful red dress and the lady behind the counter suggested shoes. They were slammed with teens buying dresses too but still made you feel cared for. Don't shop Dillard's shop Macy's! Btw - the gate was not down or partially down and the other major mall stores are open until 9pm now- so to walk in 5 til 8pm sorry- but Im not sorry that was uncalled for. PS to the young lady that screamed at us I hope you get a job you like. I feel like you must have been having the worst day to act like that. And even though it made our night really bad - I don't think it was personal at all and I still hope that you find something better. I visited Dillard's at this location once and I'm not going to like it was just a convenient place to park and walk in to enter the mall. However the product placement got me, and it got me good. I collect fiesta ware and I was under the impression that my color Clarit was discontinued. I had been heart broken for months and I saw it in the corner as I was walking by and there it was. I was so thrilled and the staff there was very eager to help as well as friendly I will definitely return to Dillard's this location specifically for all of my fiesta ware purchases in the future. I'm not a Dillard's shopper either I never really was but after my experience the first time I came in I've been a pretty frequent shopper there so the location really brought me in as a returning customer! HORRIFIC MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I've spent $600 plus in a month in Dillards I've returned 4 things that I ended up not liking or not fitting. I had tags with yellow sticker and receipt and they were inspecting the garments as if they had a plague. Refusing to return two of the items because it had a spec of deodorant on the side??? I've never ever dealt with this kind of issue before it makes me never want to shop at Dillards again but I know for sure it won't be the one at Stonebriar in Frisco. read more
