What a lovely shop and welcoming owner! In the basement under an old bank, perfect. Texas doesn't do basements so,when you find one you can visit,go for it. Even better if you can buy stunning ,soft white linen garments. When I was a kid roaming around Texas,I was always preoccupied with looking down into basements from the sidewalk wondering," what's down there"? Having been around McKinney my entire life,I'm positive I gazed thru the skylight down in wonder. Today,I gazed up thru that same skylight after buying an astounding gift. WORST shopping experience ever!!!!! I will never step foot into this establishment again. The owner was extremely rude & condescending. Get a sign that states "no pictures allowed" if you don't want people taking pictures, plus there IS a nice way to say it to your customers as well. The clothes were very over priced,for something I could find at walmart, save your money & your time. read more

Be Aware!! The owner of this store does not like POCs!!!!!! My friends and I went shopping and two of my friends decided to go in here. They were in and out in less than 30secs because as soon as they went to look at a mirror (and take a pic in it as most people do) she very rudely came up to them and said "is there anything I can help you with besides taking pictures in my mirror?" in a very rude, condescending, disgusted tone. There are many ways to go about wanting people to take pictures of your things...this was not one of them. It's 2025 let's stop acting like as if people are lower than us because they don't meet the criteria of who we want in our stores or buying our products. Honestly such a weird and rude experience. My friend and I walked in just to browse and took a quick mirror pic (like... people do that all the time in stores). The owner immediately said, "Is there anything I can help y'all with besides taking pictures in my mirror?" in the most passive-aggressive way. It was super clear we weren't part of her usual crowd and she didn't want us there. We left right after because the energy was just off. We walked into this shop just to browse and maybe support a small business. Took a quick mirror photo (like people do in boutiques all the time), and instead of a polite, "no photos, please," the owner snapped at us with, "Is there anything I can help y'all with besides taking pictures in my mirror?" Her tone was cold, condescending, and clearly meant to make us feel unwelcome -- and it worked. We left right after, and from reading other reviews, this is a pattern. It's obvious she has a problem with people who don't fit whatever narrow idea she has of her "ideal" customers. If you're looking for a kind, inclusive shopping experience, skip this place. As soon as my sister and I walked in, the employee was extremely rude to us. No smile. She didn't even say anything. So we walked around their overpriced garbage for a little bit. We asked if she had public restrooms, and she angrily asked, "Did someone tell you we had restrooms?" We said, "No, we were just wondering. We want to look around, though." We walked into one of the back rooms and saw a pretty window that looked up to the street. We were talking a picture OF THE WINDOW (not the ugly clothes), and she came back and yelled at us, "No pictures!" We left immediately afterward. read more

Was excited about going to this shop, because I was shopping for clothes on my birthday. The owner came out and was horribly rude when were walking down the stairs. My two year old asked if she could go in and her response was "I hope not". Don't know if she was having a bad day or just doesn't want kids in her store, but she lost a customer here. read more

Robin, the owner, is an incredible person to meet! She is very welcoming and easy to talk to. Unlike most boutiques, she designs most of the clothes in her shop, all high quality. It is a bit hard to find her shop since its right on a corner and you have to go down some stairs to get inside, but definitely worth a visit! It's the only store in the square that's underground, it's a complete hidden gem. Her style is simple and French inspired. The store set up is very cool and different, it's like a whole other world down there! read more

i was extremely dissatisfied with my visit. the store is in a cool spot, underground in mckinney. i had just happened to see the stairs into the store. to my friend, i said "it's probably hard to get business with the store being this hidden, but it actually might grab attention because it's honestly a neat spot for a store..." as i walk in, the owner says "so you don't think i get any business" "i've been open for 7 years so i think i get plenty of business" anyways, so i was intrigued! if an owner is so hostile and arrogant about me saying what i did (with no rude intentions what so ever, i shop in mckinney to find cool, hidden gems!) then it must be a very good store... the clothes were decent/nice but the prices weren't reasonable at all. i see where she gets the fabric from France but not until i looked online. she said nothing to my friend and i but stared at us like we weren't supposed to be in there. what if i was going to spend $1000 on some of her clothes but i didn't fit into the category of a girl that would do that so i got no respect???? read more

Don't know why this store exists in Charming friendly Mckinney. The owner said hello when we walked in and then quickly assessed us as "not her clientele " from what I could tell. Very snobby! Sad. My 13 year old daughter picked up on it as well. Advice to the owner....not every millionaire walks around wearing their money...and you will not get this ones business. read more
