This Chico's store is awesome! The staff are friendly and helpful but not pushy and they allow you to shop leisurely without following you around. They seem to change their displays often but I am sure it is to accommodate new inventory arriving all the time! I find their clothing to be good quality. I like the variety of styles and colors. Chico's is one of the places where you can get upscale clothing at reasonable prices. My wife shops there all the time, and I'm usually with her, helping pick out clothing. The clothes are very good quality, and last well, even after many wears. Good quality counts! The only knock on the place is that, in the past, service has been spotty. Today, Amy was EXCELLENT! The clothes they have are trendy, and they also sell updated classics. If you wait for sales, you can get really good bargains. read more

The manager, Amy is incredible!! I watched how she interacted with their customers. She addressed them by name, treated them with great respect, and really listened as they asked her questions. I told her later that I had been observing and wished other stores treated their customers as she treats hers. read more

I wanted a good quality, long sleeved v neck t-shirt and Chico's fit the bill for this sort of thing. I have no problem with t-shirts from Old Navy/The Gap other than they are usually tissue paper thin and I wanted something more substantial. I walked in the store and was apparently invisible as no one spoke to me. I admit it was lunch time and the store was somewhat busy but considering that I have also gone to this location within 30 min of their scheduled closing with only one other patron in the store and been ignored as well. Chico's had exactly what I wanted and I had the perfect t-shirt in my hands but then thought better of the purchase. I would prefer to do business with a merchant who actually appreciates and acknowledges me and the Plano Chico's does neither. This is the only Chico's that I have visited that seems to have customer service issues. So Chico's Plano you can keep your snob attitude and merchandise. I am only giving one star as there is nothing lower and the quality of the merchandise is a selling point. read more

I might start by saying I am a HUGE Chico's fan and shop frequently at different stores, I felt it important to comment on the Preston/Park store because my experiences are consistent when visiting this one location. I strolled in just yesterday, and was dressed in 100% Chico's designed clothes, so that alone should have said I was a serious shopper, however, the treatment and snobbery of this group is almost uncomprehensible. SNOBS!!! They never spoke, they looked at me several times, but didn't assist, didn't ask how are you, didn't say hello..nothing. I was there for approximately 15 minutes, passed at least three clerks, possibly more and NO ONE said a word. Oh, did I mention I was in a wheelchair, they were total snobs. One clerk just stared at me while I tried to open the door to leave, I mean I can open a door but she just stared, never moved. Thank goodness I have a contacts in other stores that appreciate my business so I will use the Water's Creek location in Allen. Shame on Chico's for even allowing such snobs to work in their establishments. If this were a one-time event, I wouldn't write, but it's EVERY time I walk in. I'm amazed that in the current economic environment that business is that well that they don't need the business. I left the Plano site, went home and ordered from the catalog, free shipping and no hassle! read more

Cute Cute clothes!! I always find more than I'm looking for when I go in this store! Unfortunately, in the past I have had terrible service from snobby staff when I've gone in there to shop...so much so that I quit shopping there for a while, but last week I went in there to find something to wear for Easter and I had the most helpful & friendly sales person! Her name is Jacque. If you've had a bad experience with this store I would recommend giving them another try, but ask for Jacque when you go in. She was very friendly, not snobby at all, and she ran all over that store finding things for me! read more

This Chico location has by far the worst in customer service I have ever experienced. You are greeted at the door by a sales person who recites the specials of the day while straightening stacks of clothes on a table by the front door. Beyond that, you're on your own. In a recent visit I wandered the sales floor with five or six items I was considering. Not once did any of the employees ask me if I wanted help or a dressing room. I finally found another customer who was finished with her dressing room and I used that one. This has happened more times than I can remember. At one point I decided to give up on this location and go to another one. I shopped at the new location for nearly two years with limited success - due to less square footage. Thinking things MAY have changed at the Park/Preston location I gave it another try. Big mistake. The service was just as horrible as it had been in the past. If you don't mind being completely ignored (which some people prefer) this is the place for you. If not, run from this location! read more

I love this store. I don't want to be bombarded by sales people-I just like to look around. They have great sales and really nice clothes and jewelry. My family always gives me gift cards to shop here because I always find cute clothes! read more

I am a long time customer of Chico's, and for the past 7 years I have shopped on the Park and Preston location. I was wary when I first entered the store because the one time I had shopped there, the staff had been so snobby that vowed I would not return. What a difference a good manager makes, the staff is so friendly and I am never ignored. The customer service is wonderful, the entire staff work so hard to make you happy with your purchase. read more

Horrible customer service. No one came up to ask if I needed help even though I was in and out of the dressing room. Tried on about 10 different pair of pants just to find one that looked nice. They need to go through the same training as the wonderful people of soma. read more

The clothes are great. But the employees at Preston Village are not. I have never seen some .one so rude as one of the sales women , Kim. Some people do not need to be in retail, she is one of them. Sorry, no going back there. Thank goodness there is Stonebriar where they are always very helpful. read more
