If I could give leave less than one star I would. About a month ago we were in town for a competition and we decided to shop for my daughter's prom dress. What should have been one of the best days was the worst. We were "helped" by an older lady with short hair, never got her name. She treated my daughter like she was not valued, shamed her for her weight, and towards the end said maybe you can just buy her dress on Amazon they will have her size. Come to find out she was rushing us because she was ready to go home. Absolutely disgusting, this is a 17 year old young lady and for someone to think that's ok, it's people like her that destroy these young kids. My daughter is absolutely beautiful in all ways for someone to say otherwise is beyond me. I do want to give 5 stars to the another young lady that helped us. She saw my daughter in tears and brought her tissues and told her if I can find my size in here so can you. This was the worst experience I have ever had with David's Bridal. Shopping Sunday 4/26/26 for a formal dress for my 14yr daughter.I was shocked at how many of the prom dresses right in front of the registers with a price tag of $200+ were damaged. Zippers,torn splits, stains. Some of the dresses should not have been put back on the floor.The lady that helped us felt like she was rushing us.She made a rude comment about my daughter not being able to fit a smaller size. Told me it was to small. I told her to leave the dress.. and it fit my daughter just fine.Her names was Zohreh D. She is in the wrong field. The dress my daughter wanted had some broken loops were the corset straps went into. I was given a 15 percent discount. Ithink it should have been more. I will never go back to this location. Dont know who the manager of this store is but she needs to get her store in order. Why put damage dress back on the racks,i understand clearance dress but not full priced ones. Davids Bridal is usually warm and inviting, those ladies in the Frisco store looked and acting like they were annoyed to be there. No customer service. read more

Purchased a bridesmaid dress size 0 from here. Then brought dress to be hemmed and taken in. They wanted to charge me 220 dollars to hem and take in. More than the cheap made dress cost to begin with. I left and took it to a local tailor close to me who did the alteration for 70.00. I think over charging because it's a bridal shop is frkn ridiculous especially when the dress was purchased there. read more

Ordered a very nice dress for a wedding in September. When I put in on for the wedding the entire top seam came undone and the dress wasn't wearable. I have been in contact numerous times. At first they didn't have a GM and now the GM said they can fix it. I don't want it fixed bc I didn't even get to wear it! Terrible quality and service.was told numerous times they'd get back to me but it's all been me calling to even get a response. Update: First call I got she said they fixed the dress. Only when I brought up getting reimbursed did she say she'd give me 50% back. I'm good with that. Last update: went in store. GM said she'd give me 50% and no dress. Not happening. She ended up not knowing how to do a partial refund, so I ended up getting all reimbursed and they kept the dress. What a mess! read more

Upon arrival I was greeted and given information on the layout of the store. I am pleased to see that there are plenty of plus size options, granted not the most flattering for my personal taste. I did find some options that could fit the look for an upcoming wedding I am attending. The only critique I could give would be better attention to detail & time management amongst clients in the dressing room. I had 3-4 different options to choose from, but I did come alone. When it comes to customer service, you have to read the room. I was alone and needed help several times with zipping up. I ended up doing what I could and hoping for the best. Personally, I did contemplate leaving without anything due to the lack of assistance I was given during my visit. However, I still purchased a lovely dress because at the end of the day, I needed a dress. It was priced at $89.95 & with the discount I received I paid less than $80. I was scared going in - ignore thee negative reviews. The veil and the dress were too beautiful. I went during the pandemic but every dress is steamed between trying on, so I felt safe. Everyone in the store was friendly and nice. I was expecting dress shopping to be stressful and impersonal, but was surprised how fun and easy it was to get my dress and how much joy Valentina brought to the experience! Some advice: the website is not the best. Don't try to favorite dresses, it just forgets what you favorited. Zee was very helpful and kind, got my wedding dress and was told by management they rushed my dress and alterations to meet my deadline. Took 3 weeks to come in, I call 4 hours ahead of appt. time to see if I can reschedule alterations due to being ill and pregnant. They said no, I drove an hour and a half, show up and they tell me they do not have enough employees for alterations. Tell me to go to another location as quickly as I can due to appts needing to be scheduled 2 weeks out. My wedding is in 15 days. lol what a joke!! Don't make a commitment you can not fulfill. Everyone was very nice, and hopefully it was just a one off, but everything about my experience was a nightmare, and I had to make several visits (an hour each way) due to employee error. Visit 1- it was a busy day, so I understood that there would be a wait for my appointment, and that it would be a little hectic. I was totally fine with that. I felt a little odd watching other people get their measurements taken, then mine were not. I showed Nora a few photos of dresses I had previously tried on and liked, and of dresses on the DB website that I liked. She brought me dresses completely opposite of what I asked for. The dress I ended up purchasing was being tried on by someone else, and I asked to try it on next. We tried to take a photo of the tag, but nora said that there was no need, as she was going to scan the tag. She told me it was a size 12, and asked if that size was good, which I agreed to, as the size I was trying on fit perfectly. Visit 2- I went to pick up my dress, and upon opening the garnet bag, discovered that the wrong dress had been ordered. They checked to make sure, and it was, in fact, the dress that Nora had ordered. Because I didn't have a photo of the tag, I had to show a photo of the dress and we had to find the correct dress on the website. I confirmed that Nora had told me it was a size 12, and it was reordered. Visit 3- i went to pick up the correct dress, and was thrilled to open the bag and see my dress. When I tried it on, however, it was clear that it was a very wrong size. My mother was with me at this appointment (she was not at the second visit with me) and told me that, no, I had not tried on a size 12. Nora had not only ordered the wrong dress, but also the wrong size, leading to a dress that would not zip or button. The alterations manager assured me that she would take over my order and would call me when the correct dress arrived to set up an alterations appointment. Visit 4- having received the generic text to let me know my dress had arrived (not a phone call), I made an appointment online. finally the right dress in the right size. My intention was to take it elsewhere for alterations, as I had had so many negative experiences at this location. When trying it on, I was told by the alterations manager "we'll just do it real quick today so you don't have to make another appointment. Taking that to mean it would be hemmed that day, I agreed. After it was pinned up, the girl who pinned it up took it to the alterations office, and by the time I got back to the office, she had gone on lunch break, and a second worker started trying to take my measurements and asking me what we were changing on the dress. My mom went to get the alterations manager, who took over, but then told is that she had only meant that they would pin the dress that day, and that I would, in fact, have to come back for another appointment. Visit 5- i went to pick up the dress from alterations. Only the lining had been hemmed. The other layers of fabric were still too long. This time, they told me they would "do it now" and within an hour, I finally had the right dress in the right size, hemmed correctly. Everyone was understanding of my frustration, and was helpful, but the overall experience was awful and riddled with miscommunication. I love my dress, but I'm glad to be done with David's Bridal. read more

There is a very nice selection of dresses. The store looks clean and well organized. Customer service for choosing dresses and trying on was good. My daughter in law found a beautiful dress. Areas of improvement/disappointment : the dress knowledge of the salesperson was minimal and the excitement factor was minimal... sadly, one of the samples looked like it had been waded up in a bag. I asked if it could be steamed a little to get a better idea of dress elegance. But I was told they were too busy. I would have steamed it myself honestly. In the end the dress is picked and #ifoundthedress photo is a big deal for brides! The sign was torn and tattered cheaply made out of a paper product. Excellent experience at this location. I was lucky to have the chance to work with my sweet stylist, Cody! She was awesome. Walking in, it was quite a busy Sunday. I felt very nervous and unsure about the dress process, but Cody quickly had me feeling at ease. She had pre-picked a few of the dresses I favorited online. Some of the dresses I thought I would absolutely love, but unfortunately looked quite terrible on me in person. I was feeling a little discouraged, but Cody did not give up. She kept working to find the PERFECT dress for me. The dress I ended up purchasing had a combination of all the features I liked in various dresses! Long day been up since 5am. Just getting off work at 730pm and what do I have to do .... Buy another bridesmaids dress. SN- its the same dress as my sisters wedding I was in last year, but a shade lighter. Hers was dusty rose and now I have to purchase ballet (smh lol) but hey it's only been my 5th wedding I've been in. (3 consecutive) lol I had already gone to BD on Preston Rd a few times by my house and they never have a size I can try on and limited selections. So, I decided to drive out my way to Frisco for better luck. Thank God I did. With all my frustrations and not wanting to take it out on anyone. I immediately apologized ahead of time to the sweet soul assisting me - Nuala. She told me not to worry and she wouldn't take it personal. That immediately warmed me. I was in luck they had way more options and the actual sizes I could try on. Needless to say every dress I tried on was not going to be available in time for the wedding. I tried 6 dresses and at this point I'm back frustrated, because now I have no dress. Poor Nuala had to report back each time and at this point she's frustrated, because there's nothing she can do and trying her best to please me. It became overwhelming for the both of us. However, she remained cool, calm, and collect for the both of us. She was so soft spoke and sweet I couldn't even get mad the way I wanted too. It's 9pm and it's closing. At this point I don't care what dress I get as long as it's ballet, chiffon, size 10 and here before 3/23. Just in time - Christina see us and saves the day. She was assertive, took charge, and said I was going to get a dress. We ALL started looking for a dress in stock or in-house. Meanwhile, Christina had another girl on the phones making calls to get the dress I picked approved for delivery. 5 mins later great news. Dress can be delivered by 3/13. I was soooo grateful and happy. I asked them if could do anything for them. I would have given them the shirt of my back if I had too. Nuala just smiled and said it was all her pleasure and apologized for my troubles. Christina just said this is what they do and here for. Everyone knows wedding shopping stressful and overwhelming. Right after we began looking, a sweet girl came over to help us. I wish I could remember her name, as she was such a HUGE help. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because we felt their bridesmaid's dress selection was lacking. Yes, they had a lot, but they basically all looked the same. I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal +5 years ago (it was back in San Diego but still great experience) and was now back for a bridesmaids dress. I specifically came on Black Friday so I could save money because when you add it all up it comes out to a bit (the gift, the shoes, the dress, the travel, the accommodations, alterations, etc). Well, the discounted price ended up only being $10 off but the manager helped me and gave me $20! That was super helpful because literally every bit matters. Thank you! Regarding the bridesmaids dress itself, it was actually way more comfortable than it looked online. It was really soft and looked very graceful once on :) I was impressed. Went in having to get a dress for my cousins wedding. The store was busy and still the staff were able help me find a few dresses that were the correct color, size, and what I was hoping for. Once I choose my dress I was able to make an appointment for a few alterations and checkout quickly. It was a painless experience. A couple of weeks later I returned for my fitting and because I tend to run a little early, I was early and they got me in and fitted before my appointment would have even began. Again the staff was very attentive and understood that I am traveling to the wedding and they were able to accommodate the timing without any trouble. read more

Terrible customer service. Easy to see why they had to file bankruptcy. People don't want to shop there. Appointments constantly canceled or "lost in the system". Employees were off even though we planned a visit with a specific employee. Daniel laughed at my mother on the phone while she was trying to confirm an appointment. When we called back in to get his name no one would tell us his name over the phone. When we spoke to a manager and explained we were taking the phone call to HR they finally started to act somewhat professional. read more

Beth is AMAZING. I went to another David's Bridal location that just let me try on what I asked for and I had a hard time narrowing it down. Beth listened to what I wanted AND had many suggestions and I ended up purchasing a dress I never would have thought I would have liked. Once I put it on, I was blown away. She knew what was best for me. I told her I'd be wearing my grandmas pearls so she found a similar necklace for me to wear while I tried on and she was equipped with a hair clip when I said I would have my hair up. I ordered from here, and don't mind the extra drive for alterations even though there is another location closer to my home. I will also go to Frisco location for my bridesmaids dresses. Pricey. Many dresses to choose from. What I was uncomfortable with was the "hard sell" that was done on the Bride (my niece) after she was finished. She was being pushed to "like it" and "take it". A sale price, then the "I asked my manager to get you a discount and she said I can go 15% down (lucky us). My niece was specific about what she wanted and what she didn't want. The gentleman working with us kept bringing dresses that were not what she asked for. Not even close. When she did hone in one one she liked, it was the single dress I had personally pulled off the rack. It was a bit crowded in there for our Covid comfort. I purchased my daughter's Senior Prom dress and was just a little annoyed that we had to pay $15 to have it steamed (it looked like they had just taken it out of the box). But she loved the simplicity and color of the dress so I paid with a smile. The night of Prom, both straps broke and again...didn't ruin her night but she was really disappointed because she was thinking of possibly wearing it again at another function. I reached out to Customer Service via the Chat feature and although it took some time for responses to go back and forth, they not only sent a new dress but also a check for the full price we paid. NEVER HEARD of these days. This was their offer & their idea, honestly, I just wanted the dress replaced. I was super impressed with the turnaround time in both the new dress and check they sent. I just want to share how awesome (Toy)na was yesterday. I went in there with my best friend having somewhat of an idea of what I wanted. Toy was there helping me and guiding me every step of the way. I ended up finding "The Dress"! It ended up being completely different from what I had in mind. I am a petite woman and Toy really took the time to cinch my dress up to where it looked as if it was made for me. It was a size 4 I tried on, and I wear a 0. Had it not been for her taking the time and care, I might have just tossed the dress aside and moved on. She answered all my questions and gave me several options to accessorize my dress. Such a genuinely nice person who loves what she does. I honestly hate to shop for clothes, but Toy made it an extremely enjoyable experience!! Our family recently ordered all the dresses for an entire wedding at this store. All dresses required ordering. We got a call a few weeks later stating the items arrived. In the meantime we found an alternate dress that eliminated the need for one of the orders. Upon our arrival at the store we were informed that any returns have to be made within 7 days of purchase which is nuts as the product didn't exist for longer than that. We are now left with a store credit and we are out $400 of our budget for the upcoming wedding. We spent a lot of money with this store. And their absolute refusal to work with us once they had leverage is despicable and that return policy which expires long before anyone would even see a finished product is fraudulent at best . So purchase knowing this. My original 1 star rating has been upgraded to 3 stars as the corporate office reached out to me and made this right after I embarrassed them on Yelp and a few other review platforms. Overall takeaway. Pre sale service was an A Return policy gets an F Selection and product quality gets an A So a mixed bag. read more
